Jack's came to my home to clear a drain on January 13th. They charged me $190. The drain was slow again a few days later, and was clogged again on the 21st. I called and was told that they don't have a warranty, and would charge me again if they had to come back out.
I had another plumber come clear the drain. He found 2 obstructions, and the drain has been clear ever since.
I won't be using Jack's All American Plumbing again.

The service technician, Mark, did a great job. Fast, friendly, and professional. He asked that we review his work on Google, but unfortunately there was a glitch in the process preventing us from leaving a review there. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating was the steep pricing, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

I had several problems with old plumbing in a house recently purchased. Casey and Carson came out and worked on projects for 2 days, including changing out the main house water shut off and regulator, relocating the water heater and bringing it up to code and installing a new gas line and relocating the jet for the fireplace. There were several other small goofy plumbing jobs done in this house that they updated, streamlined and brought up to code. They were friendly, competent and super helpful. Thanks Casey and Carson, you are great assets to the team at Jack's.

Below is an email response to an email from Jack's All-American Plumbing (I am not able to include Jack's email due to yelps limited words allowed, but lets just say they addressed nothing and blamed it on Rinnai's warranty policy

Thank you for the email and the reimbursement of the $93. I am disappointed that you did not address all the issues, and limited yourself to blaming Rinnai and their warranty policies. Unfortunately, you are the only Rinnai approved plumber in the area, so regardless of who installed it, I was stuck with your company, and I will be forwarding this email to them to let them know what kind of plumbing contractor they are associated with and how they treat their customers.

I do not know what your staff shared and didn't share with you, but I will put it all down in this email for you so that the truth be known. The morning, they arrived with the new tankless water heater, it was the wrong unit and the box looked like it had been broken open and the water heater was badly dented on the side. My guess is you were going to get a discount from the supplier for him to get rid of a badly dented unit and thought that I would bat an eye. I told your plumbers that was unacceptable, and they went to exchange it for an undamaged unit. I also, had to contact Rinnai to insure that this unit (RE199i) was still going to work at my house given the fact that the model you were supposed to replace was an RE180i. Your plumbers came back with an undamaged unit and installed it. I was unaware that the high end brass valves installed on the original unit could not be reused, and that your plumber installed one brass and one plastic valve. And, the brass valve that was installed had to have the shutoff handle cut because it would not close without hitting the secondary shutoff handle. Apparently the handle was installed wrong on the valve. I told your plumber that the plastic valve was unacceptable considering I had brass valves to begin with. The cut handle on the brass valve was also unacceptable, but I decided to let that one go. Reluctantly, your plumber changed the plastic valve to a brass one after he originally told me that he did not have another brass valve. Had I known these valves could not be reused, I would have purchased new ones from Fergusons plumbing supply. Then I would have quality valves that would not need to be modified to work. Again, my guess is that you train your plumbers to cut costs ass much as possible, especially since this is warrantied contract work.

Now on to the labor issue. Your office staff does not communicate clearly about what is and isn't reimbursed with regards to diagnosis or labor until after the fact. And they claim that it was all explained to me which is a bold face lie. Your company attempted to charge 3 hours of labor, when the extra time was spent going out to exchange the damaged unit you brought with you that morning, and the changing of the plastic valve. That extra hour of labor was caused by your companies incompitance.

I am strongly recommending that Rinnai consider re-examining their relationship with your unprofessional company. I will be thinking twice before I ever think about installing another Rinnai water heater. And, I definitely will never call Jack's Plumbing in Santa Maria, CA ever again.

If this unit ever fails under warranty again I will just have the unit replaced and forego the labor so that I do not have to use Jack's Plumbing. I would highly recommend any other plumber because any of them would be more professional and upfront with their customers, while Jack's Plumbing likes to pull the wool over its' customers eyes.

Thank you for this eye-opening opportunity and I will be sure to share this experience with as many outlets and people as I possibly can.

When you need a plumber in the Santa Maria/Nipomo area, Jacks All American Plumbing is, without question, the outfit to go with.

I had quite a bit of extensive plumbing work that needed to be completed in 2020 at my home in Nipomo.

Jeff Johnson, one of Jacks longtime employees, arrived on time, evaluated each issue - including the install of a new water heater - and solved each plumbing problem professionally with lasting quality. Here it is 3 years later and the plumbing issues Jeff repaired are still in perfect working order.

I would never use anybody else. Jacks All American plumbing are my ""go to"" guys for any plumbing needs... Especially team member Jeff Johnson.

No wonder Jacks's is the highest rated plumber in this area! These people are the best....great customer service from the first call to the end of the visit. I had a small kitchen fire and needed a new stove. After installation, it wouldn't back up to the wall and ended up extending out several inches beyond the counters. Jeff and Nick came over two days ago and moved the gas stub, made the smallest opening in the wall behind the stove and totally cleaned up after themselves. But the most amazing thing was the way Jeff went far and above what anyone would expect. I had told him my custom kitchen counters were a bit tall and the stoves these days don't have long enough leveling screws. Googling the heck out of the problem I saw someone post an idea about buying PVC caps, putting washers inside and using that idea to add additional height to the leveling screws. Jeff went to Home Depot and bought these items, spray painted them black and then leveled my stove and VOILA ! A perfect esthetic look! I could not have asked for more. Even the local appliance people where I bought the stove had no solution and never followed up. YAY JEFF AND JACKS ALL AMERICAN PLUMBING!

We had a shower valve fail on Friday afternoon. Jack's All-American Plumbing had Carlos out within a couple of hours. He replaced both valves within about 30 minutes. Fast, quality work and cost-effective. We highly recommend Jack's.
