Kim C.Run, don't walk from this company. Hired them in 2022 to install a new unit. They charged me for a permit, but found out there was never a permit pulled. I've had issues with this unit, and any time I call their partner who is in Sarasota, and who installed the unit, he's never available. The owner of the company in Jax tells me, "" we can't get ahold of him either, and there's nothing we can do"". Shouldn't be my problem, but it is now.
Didn't complete the install correctly, and didn't get the township approval for their work. Then charged to come back. And rude receptionist!
Had a new complete furnace and a/c unit installed by this so-called company. Even the metal chimney not a year later was leaking water when rained I called, they gave me all excuses not to come repair leak said not their problem we don't do roof work, but they were on roof to take out old chimney and put in new one in very rude and not customer friendly.
Now they want to charge me a service fee and diagnostic fee it's to be warranty if warranty for a year WHY charge these fee?
DO NOT USE THIS COPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED AND TREATED LIKE DIRT.
Two years ago I had an air conditioning unit installed (9500) and paid $300 for the year long service contract.
Last week water began leaking through my ceiling, and when I called them to come out because it was the air conditioning unit that was the problem they refused to come out. They were very rude to me, and when I asked why they would not stand behind their work, and the unit is only two years old, they accused me of having had somebody else to my house to service it which never happened.
when I said that nobody else had come to my house to service it, they accused me of not having it serviced and that there was no warranty and they would not come out.
I had to pay for another HVAC company to come out, and they determined that one of the pipes was installed incorrectly, causing a blockage which then led to a water leak through the system causing major damage to my second floor ceiling
Jack Frost refused to come nor were they willing to discuss any of what happened with me. I would not recommend this company.
There should be a zero star option for companies like this who treat their customers so unconscionably.
Customer service is horrible...no desire to keep customer happy...1st technician came and didn't fix it...2nd tech came during holiday and was able to fix it...they still charged us holiday fee when it could have been prevented by 1st tech...shady!!
Service is fantastic. Mario, Brian put new ductless system in today, and I only just requested to have installed late last week. Team knew was important and they made it happen thanks Tyler.
All the service techs are extremely elpful. I had an issue last week, I called and Tom literally showed up in 10 minutes. Got lucky he was in the area, but still, this is what you get from the team.
I'm thrilled to have found them and am a annual service member. Thanks Jack Frost team, wishing all of you a wonderful Thansgiving.
Mario, Matt, and Brian installed a new furnace and central air system at my home. Obviously, it was a big project. The guys worked hard to ensure that the job was performed properly. They all were pleasant under demanding conditions (my old furnace was in horrible shape). I assume the same professional courtesy for annual cleanings in the future. Thanks guys.

TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Had Tom out to check my AC that had stopped working, he stated he would run coolant for a set price and that would fix the issue. After doing so he stated the compressor was not working and would need to be replaced, quoted me around 4k and i have to pay around $450 for running the coolant but if I replaced the compressor, he would waive the $450. This compressor was only a year old mind you. Not know any better, and having a family in extreme heat, I agreed to replacing the compressor. After paying the 4k the compressor was never the problem, now it was a piece in the the evaporator coil, and of course that piece couldnt be changed, the entire coil would need to be replaced, another $1500...
So $5,500 for a job that should have been $1,500... would avoid at all costs!! Will never use again...
If you enjoy going to court and winning be my guest. These are the nastiest most dishonest contractors I have ever used in my entire life. Where should I begin? Maybe with the fact they hit our home with their truck and caused significant damage and never called to say so and probably wouldn't have had I not drove up to catch them because my daughter called to say the entire house shook? Or from the very rude and dismissive way they arrive that morning at my home and left because I dared to ask about the required permits that were requested before coming to start work? Maybe I should begin with how they requested to be paid in full prior to starting the job and WERE but took an additional 50% deposit almost 3 weeks later after they had been paid? Or how about the part where I had to hire an attorney to get a copy of their insurance to file a claim? Maybe I should start with the fact that our contract says a completely different furnace then that which was installed? Well I guess I will start with the night where I had to stay in a hotel because our ""brand new"" furnace they installed wasn't working and when I called them, they said they voided our warranty at their sole discretion. When trying to ask why I was hung up on several times then my number was blocked. We have no heat from a furnace that was installed in November and were forced to sue which honestly I didn't want to do because I love supporting small struggling businesses and have never had to before but Jack Frost has left us zero options. Though they have had many times & several opportunities to make it right which I felt was fair & usually works with rational contractors who are eager to rectify a mistake. I wasn't going to post anything at all but felt people should be warned about this family of crooks. I realized they can respond, but honestly what can you say? Voice recordings, pictures and receipts say more than anything they could in defense of their actions. 'Trust me' they said *eye roll* Yeah that is recorded as well, along with a picture of Tyler's big smile after hitting my house with his very low insured van. So I highly recommend that you use anybody else and I mean literally anyone.
