If you are easily convinced that their over pricing is worthwhile, then you may give them a good review. Not us.

We had Adam come by on a Friday to look at our toilet that was running, our sink that wasn't draining well, and our tub that was dripping. He turned the faucet in the tub harder and it stopped running! He told us that i order to fix the sink, we needed a new one, and he fidgeted with the toilet until it stopped running. He only charged us $74 which seemed okay. But a couple of days later the toilet was running again and the tub was dripping. So, on Monday we had him come back. This time he said we needed a new toilet and tub. He said the toilet needed a new fill valve that was impossible to find because the toilet was a Toto and their parts were rarely available, and the new tub would cost $5800. The tub drip is minor, but the toilet running is so bad that the Monroe Co Water Authority had sent us a letter telling us that we needed to look into it.

With Adam in front of me, I called the contractor friend who had originally installed the toilet and Adam changed his tune a bit. He called his boss about getting the part for the toilet and learned that not only was one available at Home Depot, but he actually had one in his truck. Then he told me he could replace the fill valve for $250. When I balked, he asked me what I wanted to spend. I told him that I had replaced fill valves on my own for under $100. So her changed his offer to $200. I asked him if he would discount me the $69 I had paid on Friday, and he said no, so the total bill would be $269 plus tax.

On a humorous and curious note, he also asked me if I had a wrench he could borrow!

I then told him I wanted to wait to find out from my friend if he had any other suggestions, and he said that would be fine, but he'd need to charge me an additional $69 for a service visit that day. He added that if I refused to pay that, then our association would be over.

I opted to not pay him the additional $69 and will wait for a better solution. I have since looked up the cost of fill valves and they are available at Home Depot or Amazon for $28. My conclusion is that he/Jack and Jill are less than honest, manipulative, and over priced. I also will try to get my original service fee back.

When I asked for an itemized bill I was refused. The office manager I dealt with was very unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Having some issues w/water backing up in the tub when I'm taking a shower. The issue started on Tuesday, was told by Jack & Jill they couldn't get to us until Friday between 12pm & 2:30pm. Friday 2:35pm rolls around someone from J & J calls & said; ""We need to reschedule because they had another emergency at another location. All our techs are at that location."" We were told Saturday they'd be at our place at 10:30am. 10:35, no Jack & Jill plumbing. I call, they apologize & say they'll have the tech call me. Our appointment got moved to 12pm - 2pm. 2:30pm, no Jack & Jill plumbing & no phone call all day from tech. Call again. Was told some tech named Paul pushed our time further back a 3rd time to 5pm Saturday. At this point it's obvious they don't want to do the work & have no intention of coming. I call & ask to speak to a manager was told ""The best I can do is take a message & someone will contact you"". Like they were supposed to already & never did was my reply. So, as a result of them jerking us around for 3days, we're now back to square one & have to find a plumber. And thnx so much for leaving us hanging until the weekend! Now we have to drag it into next week! This is not how a business is run. If you're unable or unwilling to honor your commitment to keep a simple appointment, don't schedule one. We probably could have had our issue resolved by now through a more reliable business if they'd have just been more forthcoming.

So far I am not impressed with them.
we called them on Thursday and they said they set an appointment for yesterday (Friday).
I get a phone call an hour and half AFTER my scheduled time telling me there is an emergency and they can't com. the woman I spoke to was rude and didn't seem to care that I am not able to take a shower or flush
my toiler.
I work in customer service. if I gave a customer the attitude that she gave me I would probably lose my job.
she said that I would be scheduled today from 10 to 3.
considering the inconvenience of rescheduling one would think that they would make me a priority but here it is almost 11 and nothing.


I want to add that a friend tried to use them last year and was given the exact same excuse I was given. word for word.
that is a little odd.
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
if they can't keep an appointment what good are they?

Do not call them for plumbing repairs.. Owner has no concept of pricing and will be out of business with in two year. Pure scam company

A tad expensive, but solved a clogged toilet that has been stuck for multiple days now in less than 15 minutes. Honestly, can't beat that, and relieved to be relieved!
