Old gas water heater was on its last leg, and started to leak like sieve. Submitted request for quote, and it took less than an hour for Jimmy, the owner, to respond. I wasn't sure exactly what type of replacement I wanted; tank less or traditional. Jimmy was upfront and honest with all the options and explanations. I really appreciated that, and it helped me make a decision I was happy with.

My old natural gas tank heater was 40 gallons. I always felt there wasn't enough hot water even with just 3 people in the home, probably because it was supporting a 3 story brown stone. Jimmy found a nice 50 gallon one, and scheduled next day installation. His team was on time, courteous, asked for water shut off location, and began the install. I was upstairs doing work. Couple hours later, he let me know it was all done and walked me through the work and the new electronic gas and pilot control unit on the new system. He even installed a new ball valve and gas valve at no extra charge.

I've used other plumbers in the time I have been up here, and never have I had the exceptional customer service, quality workmanship, and cost effectiveness that J2 plumbing offers. They are my go to for any future heating and cooling work.

Highly recommend J2 for any heating or cooling work you need. They are a top notch outfit.

Our furnace blew in the middle of the night and the following morning I called J2. Within 5 minutes I received a call back and within a few hours they were at my house checking my furnace. My furnace ended up having to be replaced. They installed a more efficient system and also replaced my hot water heater that was on its last legs. Strictly professional team! Attention to detail oriented...I will be referring them to friends and family in the future!

Not a good customer service. Called on Friday morning for AC repair. Got scheduled for 3PM. Got called to reschedule for 1PM the next day due to busy schedules, which is fine but they never showed or called again. Once - thank for for your no show no call policies, and second - thank you for making me stay at my house in 90 degrees heat waiting for you all day long.

We'd been battling an odor problem in our master bathroom off and on for months. I reached out to J2 and they gave me some DIY advice before setting up an appointment. When my DIY wasn't enough, I contacted them again and they had a plumber here the same day. On time, professional and courteous. Highly recommend.

We hired J2 for a little over $17,000 of plumbing work. They were often late or didn't show without warning, but that wasn't a huge deal to us. What was a huge deal was that they did an unsafe and unfinished job, and lied about the work that had been completed. When we pointed things out that we had paid for and had been left off we heard the plumber in the background ask ""how did they find out?."" That really says it all. Once we confronted them they promised to refund us what is owed but never came through-- they simple ghosted us for the couple of weeks since. I have since hired another plumber to correct their work-- apparently much of it was not to code, shower walls were completely unsecured and could be pulled off of the walls, insulation was half-done at best, no seams were caulked, the list goes on and on. We were told that we would have had re-freezing and serious mold issues had we kept their job un-corrected. On top of it all, the owner was astonishingly rude and unprofessional. Definitely not a competent or trustworthy company to work with.
