Horrible and incompetent service!!! Do not waist your time and money with this company!!!! I live in Jacksonville but have a rental unit in Gainesville. Last February I called JW Freeman to detect and fix a leak from the bathroom on the second floor to the ceiling downstairs. They came, cut a hole in the ceiling and told me that nothing is leaking. I fixed the ceiling. Ten month later the leak happened again. I call JW Freeman and they repeat the same procedure - cut the huge hole in the ceiling and told me that water leaked because tenants spill the water while using the shower. When I came to fix the ceiling I noticed that all shower handles are leaking. I called JW Freeman and they agreed that it's valve leaking and cause the problem and ordered a valve repair kit and sent technician. He couldn't replace the leaking part - """" seats"""" but only installed new handles and acknowledged that leak is still there. If he couldn't replace the seats, fix the leak - he shouldn't instal new handles and try to charge me for them. Finally we agreed to replace valve. After two years and me paying them for coming and not detecting the problem and many trips and coordinating their appointments with tenants they left me with cracked tiles with broken grout around. And now I have to hire someone to fix the tiles that they broke.....

I would write a review of less than one star but I cannot. If you want reliable service do not go here please. It is a headache that is not worth it. I had someone from this company come in to fix a leaking pipe and they did. However, in the process they created a different problem. When I went to turn on my shower, water would still come out from the bottom faucet. Because of this, they sent another guy to fix this issue that the original plumber could not solve. However the new plumber seemed to be in a hurry for some reason. Once he """"finished"""" the job I had to check quickly if he had fixed the problem. He did, but I noticed after he left that he did not properly seal off knobs that turn on the shower (you can see images of this below). Additionally, I tried to talk to him after checking the shower and he was incredibly disrespectful. In the middle of talking to him he walked away and got in his truck. He walked into my house acting like he owned the place and walked out doing the same. I've genuinely never had such a negative Interaction with a company before. If you ever decide to use this company good luck.

They quickly responded when I contacted them because our hot water heater stopped working. They arrived within a few hours of my call and found the water heater was beyond repair. Within 2 hours, they had removed the old water heater and installed a new one. They provided a one year warranty on their work. Their pricing was reasonable too. I will definitely use them again.

Working with excellent businesses always makes me happy and I can't say enough about the incredible customer service and stellar work of J. W. Freeman Plumbing. We had a stopped up kitchen sink with clogged pipes and two shut off valves that did not work. J. W. Freeman Plumbing was recommended by our realtor and from start to finish, the customer service was (and remains) outstanding. I filled out the form on their website and got an email promptly from Shep, who kept in touch with me, scheduled the appointment and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I couldn't be there at the house on the day, and my mother (who lives in the house) has dementia and has a caregiver. I explained all of this to Shep and he alerted the technician. The technician, Joe Thrash, came out to our house and was thorough, careful and very professional. I spoke to him three times on the phone. He explained everything to me, fixed the problems, and cleared the pipes. We now have a working kitchen sink and I couldn't be more grateful for their professional and excellent work. It is such a relief to find a business who follows through on their word and does so with such kindness. The cost was very reasonable for the work done. I feel that we are in very good hands with this exceptional business and we will only use their plumbing services for any future problems.

I have tried to schedule 2 appointments with this company the first was about 1 week ago they gave me a call time between 12-3 and we made arrangement to be home but had an appointment at 4:00pm they called at 2:55pm and told us they would be there in 30-40 minutes I informed them we had to leave at 4:00pm so they rescheduled. I spoke to them personally and made arrangements for someone to be at the house by 8:30 this am as I had to get to work by 9:30 so need to leave the house by 9:15. At 8:45 when no one showed up I called and their response is our call time is between 8:30 - 9:00, the plumber showed up at 9:00am and I informed him that I had to leave at 9:15 so he indicated he could not complete the work in 15 minutes so recommended we reschedule. This company has no consideration for the customers time as my wife and I both work so are not at home waiting for service agents. You would think that as a first appointment someone should be able to get there by 8:00am but that obviously did not happen This is just bad customer service

David called ahead to give me an eta which was really helpful because I had to coordinate with a city technician. When he arrived. He was courteous and professional. He explained possible issues , took a look around and solved the problem within half an hour. It could have been a much bigger problem but he was able, because of his experience and training, to determine a solution that didn't involve expensive additional add on. He saved a significant amount of money for me. The work is warranties for a year! This company is responsive and honest. Can you ask for any better? Will always use in future. Thank you JW Freeman!

This company was responsive, reliable, and professional. They came out with equipment which was able to determine the issues and quickly resolved the problems identified. I had a remaining issue related to the original that wasn't clear the first time, so that returned and corrected the related issue at no charge. The showed up on time, the rates are no bad, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

JW Freeman remodeled a bathroom for us which involved installing a shower, new drain, vanity and toilet. They gave us the best quote, worked in a timely fashion, were very efficient, professional and the new bathroom looks great! It is uncommon to find such professional work with very good value. They provided lowest estimate of three plumbers we contacted.
