Add me to the list of people who got ripped off by this guy at J&T Plumbing!
Needed a new faucet installed. We negotiated a price. I then lost all of my common sense and PAID him that day. I know better. In the next couple of months he was "sick" multiple times, called out to "emergencies" multiple times and broke TWELVE promised appointments. I don't know how he looks himself in the mirror! That's ok. I am filing several reports with authorities that he will have to live with from now on. I know he got the demand letter I sent because I got a signed return signature card from USPS. He also gave me a signed receipt showing "paid in full" on the awful day we began our "relationship". Don't think he has the ability to repay me but I'm still going to pursue it. I just hate paying "stupid tax" to a guy like this. Don't even think about using him!!!!!!!

After reading all of the raving reviews, I felt confident in booking with J&T Plumbing (Jimmy) for our plumbing needs. Well let me know you, I booked with Jimmy for today at 9am. Not only did Jimmy not show up, he did not reach out to reschedule, nor will he answer his phone. I called multiple times before realizing this supposedly plumbing professional was a no show. It's really difficult to find great customer service these days. But I am glad that we did not use his services, I cant imagine if something went wrong from service and getting him back to fix or honor any type of warranty.

I am curious as to who are writing these awesome review....family members & friends? I see one review that looks about right. It makes me grateful that he did not show up.

They were very fast. My hot water heater was leaking and they were able to make it to my house in 30 minutes. They were professional, courteous and reasonably priced. I will definitely call again for future plumbing needs.

"Jeckel and Hyde Plumbing" should be the name cause the guy that showed up for my job is not the guy in these good reviews! On the phone he tells me there would be no charge (correct to just show up) as soon as he arrived, he pulls out his invoice book and says it would be $125 to test the system for leaks. He shows up with his underwear hanging out of his pants, mouth full of chewing tobacco, cursing, constant belching out loud, complaining, moaning, spiting and coughing. He spent most of the time walking around the house scratching his head looking for the cut-off then informing us that for $200 more he could start digging to try and find it. He tested something and said the issue was on the cold water side but couldn't tell me where(hello that's what I needed to find out), but in his infamous wisdom and 25 yrs of experience that he "thinks" it's outside and for another $200 he could find it (not fix it). So now I'm out $125, still having a leak somewhere and looking for another "qualified plumber"! BEWARE DO NOT CALL THIS GUY HE HAS NO CLUE AND IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON I HAVE EVER MET! I TRULY BELIEVE ALL THESE REVIEWS ARE FALISFIED.

My son called numerous plumbers to no avail, on of course a Friday afternoon. And low and behold........Friday the 13th.

He reached out to J & T Plumbing, for his water leak. Jimmy from J & T Plumbing arrived in only 15 minutes after my sons initial phone call.

Jimmy was very professional and efficient. Problem was resolved in no time. He was very thorough, with great communication.

We would definitely refer him to anyone. We can't thank him enough. Friday the 13th, after 5pm and nothing slows him down! KUDOS JIMMY!

1-800-845-6585, this guy is NOT INSURED, NOT INSURED.
After dealing with him, it is my opinion that he is thief and a liar.

My toilet tank cracked. I needed to replace the toilet. I called three plumbers. Jimmy was the cheapest, saying he would need payment in CASH.(he was not the cheapest after he stole money from me) I had already gone to Home Depot and bought a toilet. I purchased it on my bank card, $105.00.
It was pouring rain when Jimmy came in the afternoon. He said the toilet I purchased was a 12 inch (wall to base) and I needed a 10 inch. I told him I could take the toilet back next day, but he INSISTED that he would take it as he needed the money. He asked for the receipt ($105.00) which I gave to him. ( I would never see that receipt again). He said, as he was leaving, "if another plumber had to return a toilet, they would charge you extra".
(He said it again when he returned).
He called me from Home Depot saying they only had one. I asked how much it was. He said $100.00 (a lie). I asked if the balance was put back on my card. He said "yes" (a lie).
As he was putting in the new toilet, he asked to borrow some of my tools saying he had to pawn his. Also, stating he should be making $200.00 an hour. I was very uncomfortable. When he spit tobacco into my bathroom trash can, I was shocked.
I paid him in cash plus $10.00, telling him I wish I could do more. ( I had, but didn't know it). As he was walking out to leave, I realized he had not given me the TWO receipts. I asked him for them. He opened his wallet and handed me the top receipt, the one he got. It was for $81.17, NOT $100.00 (he had lied) Now he was clearly caught in a lie. I asked if the balance, from the $105.00 and $81.17 was put back on my card. He said "YES".(another lie). At that point, I knew something was not right and within 5 minutes, I was checking my account. It was not there.
I went to Home Depot ( 7 minutes from my home). They said Jimmy SAID he did not have the receipt (original $105.00, he lied)
Without a receipt, they issued a store credit of $105.00 TO HIM. I even spoke to the store manager, angry that he could scam people so easily. (All of this can be verified through Home Depot in Waxahachie. Hopefully they stop his scam). He pocketed the balance. He stole from me, lied to me, and still asked me to rate him. Only too happy to do just that. I guess he thinks seniors, especially women, are easy prey. I bet if I had been a man, he would have done that. Any bad reviews on this guy are more in-line with him.
I called him from the Waxahachie Home Depot where the clerks could hear my call to him. It had only been about 20 minutes since he left. I asked him where he was and I wanted him to return and give me my money he stole. I told him he had lied and deceived me and that I was angry. I thought he might man-up, but no.
He said he would come by the next day at 7 PM. Liar didn't come or call. I called him at 9 PM. He said he would come by, for sure, next day, Friday at 12 noon. No surprise, didn't show or call.
I think because I am a senior and a woman he saw me as an easy target. He is NOT to be trusted. Very low moral standards to steal from a grandmother. I have not heard from this guy. SHAME ON YOU, JIMMY D RENFRO, SHAME ON YOU.

I was really satisfied with the work of the company. The plumbers came to my home the same day that I called them and fixed my bathroom sink.
