We had an issue with our main sewer line backing up. We called Roto Rooter to come out and rod the line. This guys heart was definitely not in it, and he complained the whole time. He finally called his boss to come by because he had a camera. His boss ends up telling us that he ""thinks"" the pipe had shifted. They would need to dig it up and replace the pipe, all for a mere $7 thousand dollars. We said that we would get a second opinion. The awesome inspector from the Village of Schaumburg said to call J&S Plumbing. We set up an appointment for the next morning. Shane and Tino did the rodding, and these guys sure new what they were doing. They had completely cleared the line in one hour. These guys are fantastic, and they only charged half of what Roto Rooter was charging for the rodding. These guys will have my plumbing business for life!

I rarely write reviews but my experience with J &S Plumbing was awesome.
Easily sent a picture and received an estimate, accepted the estimate, service department asked if they could come today (a plumber had just finished at another home nearby) and he arrived here 30 minutes after my 1st inquiry.
Replaced corroded sink pipe and pea trap, checked for leaks and cleaned up and the the job was done. Reasonably priced! Great experience!

I'm a landlord and have now used J&S more times than I can remember. They always do great work, always solve the problem, and are always courteous to tenants and myself (I kind of enjoy talking to them as I learn things). A number of times they've even been able to just fix problems over the phone saying ""I'd hate to charge you for..."". Finally, they're super responsive which has bailed me out of a few bad situations :) and kept tenants happy.

I cannot say enough about this company, their service and follow up is excellent. They are courteous and very professional. The persons who came out were Adam and Nick. Adam truly knows his business and he was careful to explain what they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves and we were pleased to have them working at our house. I would not hesitate to hire this company again for any future plumbing work we need.

Absolutely a horrible experience with this company. DO NOT USE!!! They charged me almost $800 to replace a wax ring on a toilet and they had to come out 4 times to do it because they kept messing it up. I am reporting their plumbing license to the state board. They should not be in business.

I called for an estimate to replace several copper drain pipes in my basement and in my garage wall. This was a large project. I had exposed the pipes so it was easy to see what work was needed. Paul Atou from J& S plumbing provided a very competitive estimate which was much less than the other estimate I had and he was able to schedule the work for later in the week. He and two others arrived later that week and completed the work in one day which was quicker than originally planned by using an extra man. He kept the work area clean and they took all of the waste with them. Paul is very experienced, very friendly and professional in his interaction with customers. I would hire him again for a large job like this
