Set up appointments multiple times and I took off work in order for them to repair furnace and a/c. Called them after the timeframe they had given on 2 separate days and found out that their guy was sick and they didn't think to call. Finally made it out and got the furnace operational and said they'd be back in a week to hook up the a/c. Weeks went by and I kept calling to get the a/c fixed and they kept forgetting to come fix it. After several months they finally came out to hook up the a/c and left after putting the a/c coil back in the furnace. Never came back to finish the job. Had another company come out only to find out that J&S broke my a/c coil and I will end up spending over another $1400 to replace it and finish charging the system.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. First of all their professionalism is a 0 on a scale of 0-10. I had them come to look at my water heater that was the possible cause of a slow leak in my basement. I called to request someone to come look at the water heater and tell me how much it would cost. Like most people I had two plumbers come to our home to discuss the problem and give quotes for costs and different heaters. After receiving bids from two companies for high efficiency set ups and a replacement tank, J & S came with the lowest bid and was able to get the job done right away. Their man quoted word for word ""total costs including labor and new tank will be $800"". I reminded him that I wanted a water tray placed under the tank (which I mentioned when he first arrived for the quote) and he said it would be another $20. I asked him for a estimate on paper and he told me they would send me a invoice and didn't do paper quotes. I told him we wanted him to do the job and decided against the high efficiency unit. He completed the job and I helped with getting him buckets and towels because he did not bring these and had more water loss than expected. We talked and I asked him questions. After he was done he handed me a business card with a dollar amount for $941.34. I asked him why it was significantly more than quoted and he told me it took him longer than he thought and he gets paid an hourly rate. WHAT? He never mentioned this hourly rate before. I called to talk to the secretary about my concerns and she was aggressive and told me that is how they do things. They even charged me for the estimate!! Even though the website says FREE ESTIMATES. The owner of the company got on the phone who was also aggressive and said that I made him get a water tray and I needed to pay for his time to go to the store to get it. After the owner was defensive and argumentative he hung up on me! DO NOT USE this company!!!!! They quote a nice price only to get the job and then increase the price as they work.
