Like many others, our Home Warranty company referred us to J & S Mechanical for a repair to our AC unit. They were originally scheduled to come out about a week after our initial call; however, my husband was on the phone when they called and by the time he called back they had already moved on to the next job. They rescheduled for the following Monday (they were originally supposed to be here on Friday), but we were not able to be home for that appointment. When we called to reschedule the woman on the phone was very personable and rescheduled the appointment for Wednesday although she didn't have a time available. She called us back the following day to let us know that the tech would be out around lunchtime on Wednesday. Josh arrived at 1:00 p.m. and was very courteous and professional. He took the time to identify the issue and pointed out that our unit is still under Trane's manufacturer's warranty. He gave us all of the relevant information and then told us that he would send our request back to our warranty company and tell them that they need to send out a Trane certified technician. He went over every detail with us so that we would understand what he thinks the issue is and what should be done about it. I was very leery after reading all of the reviews, but our experience was the polar opposite of what some were describing. I would utilize their services again in the future, if needed.

If I could give zero stars I would. The most unprofessional and rude company and customer service reps ever. Not to mention the tech Jeffery. Please do yourself a favor and call a different company'. Owner of the company michelle wouldn't even get on the line to discuss the rude behavior and lies told by her tech. Rather she pawned it off on her rep that's been there 10 years and """"knows everything"""" about the warranties.. yet she doesn't. Listen we all make mistakes sarah.. own up to yours. My warranty does include filters, I have the first class upgrade. If u took 1 second to read it you'd see. .Do yourself a favor and own up to it. I will never ever use this company and hope y'all don't either. Save yourself from the frustration. Thanks for making me wait 4 days without Ac just to show up 3 hours early and try to pull away just as I'm pulling in. Horrible horrible horrible!

I took over handling an AC repair for my mother-in-law via her home warranty. After six weeks of delays, excuses, and a few outright lies, we are now pushing the home warranty company to use another company to complete the repair, and have gotten a lawyer involved. It's unclear if J & S simply have too great a workload or are merely extremely disorganized-- but regardless, no one in Georgia should go six weeks in the summer without AC, especially not a senior citizen. The sheer number of negative reviews here speak volumes; the responses by the owner over on Google reviews certainly don't help the situation.

Assigned J&S by home warranty company. These guys have terrible scheduling methods: they have failed to show up to scheduled appointment times 3 (3!!!) times, disrupting my work immensely as I had to stay home and wait for them. I was able to finally change the assigned contractor through the home warranty company but it took effort and lots of complaining. avoid if possible if you want techs to actually show up.

Worst experience! I was called to set up an appointment to have my ac replaced. We agreed on a date and time. When the time came, I took off of work so I would be home or no more than 30 minutes away. I was NEVER called when my appointment time came. The next day I contacted them to see what happened. I was told they tried to call me 3 times but no answer. Thats funny because I have NO missed calls on either phone. I was then told they would call me later in the day to reschedule. This is unacceptable as I have patiently waitied to have my ac replaced. As I stated to them, I am in a house with a child who suffers from asthma and the heat aggravates it. They had NO sympathy what so ever. So here I am still waiting on a call back to have the service done. Smh! I wouldnt refer this company to ANYONE. I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint next.

This company came out to my home and told me the air handler had to be replaced because too many parts were blown and the until was 35 years old. They gave me a copy of what they found. After 48 hours I called first American home warranty and they told me they closed the case because it was fail due to rats that had chewed the wiring and shorted out the system. They sent pictures to first American and I asked first American to email them to me. I saw nothing that showed chewed wiring only dirty grim and mold build up. J&s falsified the invoice so they wouldn't have to do the work because we're my air handler sits is a very tight space and hot as well. I'm crippled but I made my way back into this space , opened the unit, cleaned all the wires off with Clorox wipes and took pictures and sent them to first American. The reopened my claim and are sending another person out. I admit there was rat dropping in that area from when we bought the house but have not had rat problems since we've lived here. They did not clean and properly inspected the wiring they just assumed. When I called this contractor with proof , they said they were not going to argue and hung up and she turned me other to another woman who said she didn't care if I had proof and hung up on me. Terrible people who took advantage of a disabled person. I called my bank and they put a stop payment on the 75.00 service fee check I wrote them and also waived the fee and if the company tried to come get me for their service fee they would back me up. Regions is my bank by the way. Thank you regions. I also have filed a claim with the better business bureau in hopes that they will either suspend, fine or put them out of business or all of the above. I don't want this happening to anyone else in my position or not. Do not accept this company from first American home warranty. Ask for someone else. Rude, deceitful and thieves. J&S mechanical contractors inc should be shut down. Everyone should open a claim with the better business bureau who have paid for something that were promised or wasn't done honestly. These are crooks. Stay away.i wish I could give them zero stars.

They came and did not find a solution to the problem. later on, they sent me a charge saying they received no payment when in fact they did. I do not recommend this company.

Like many of the reviews on here, our home warranty sent J&S to our home to replace our furnace. They installed the furnace incorrectly that subsequently caused our finished basement to flood. They refused to fix the secondary damage even after they accepted liability to reinstall the furnace correctly. DO NOT USE this company. After our experience, I realize why they do so much business through home warranty companies - it's the only way anyone would do business with them. Terrible work, horrible customer service and I would have given 0 stars if that were an option.

I had them come out to the house twice. Once for HVAC and once for a plumbing issue. These two events were spaced out by 9 months. Each time they did a great job. The technicians and customer service were very kind and professional.

Worst customer service ever! Home warranty company(like many other reviewers) sent them out to work on a leaking water heater. Took the guy, who was not friendly at all, about two minutes to decide that we needed a new heater. Well since we were without hot water for a few days, we went ahead and scheduled it to be replaced. Then a lot of back and forth went on between my property management company and the plumber as to who's responsible for turning the water off to the building. Plumber, same unfriendly man shows up asking for my husband. When I let him know my husband was at work, he looked at me like I was incapable of anything and said """"we need a check to start instal"""" like a women couldn't make a payment. He then asked me about the water being turned off. I told him that the management company says no other plumber has a problem turning off the water, so he walked out telling me to find another plumber. I spoke with two other companies who both had no issues with turning the water off. Isn't that what plumbers do?? Take your business elsewhere!!!
