Sharon S.Called today to check on the status of a warranty claim for new unit. Sarah aka the """"office manager"""" answered the phone and proceeded to argue with me to the point that she placed the blame on the warranty company for the lies (her words not mine). I used the term conflicting information. She told me it was not her """"effing"""" (she used the vulgar term) fault I have been without air for 9 days. She has customers who have been without air for a month. I said sounds like you have an access issue. I did then ask if I called them independently for a service need would it take this long. She proceeded to tell me that since I was not a paying customer (I'm paying somebody since I have a home warranty) it takes longer. I then asked to speak to a supervisor. She told me she was the manager and I once again asked to speak to her boss. She went off on me and hung up the phone. I was appalled by this unprofessional behavior and would never recommend your company based on this interaction. Unfortunately, I do not have a choice as switching company's will only delay the already far too lengthy process. I have filed a complaint with the warranty company's vendor relations department.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Our home warranty company sent them. They were terrible to work with, pricing was ridiculous and when we informed them we would request another vendor from home warranty company, they rudely hung up on us. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
Awful, awful awful company! These are the rudest people I have every dealt with. Michelle, the supervisor, is not interested in hearing your problems or complaints. I can go on and on about my horrific brief experience with J & S but in short, simply do not waste your time with them. There are plenty of friendly, customer focused companies out there that will take great care of you. The only reason we used J&S is because we were assigned to them by our Home Warranty.
On 5/14/19 Phillip the technician and his associate came out to provide service on a leaking pipe in our master shower through our home warranty company First American Home Warranty. What he wrote on my work order receipt and advised me was that there was a crack in the top of the drain pipe and they tried to replace it with what they had in the truck but couldn't, so they would have to go through the downstairs ceiling to replace the whole pipe. He said they would submit it to FAHW and I should get a call for approval in 24 hours and he would see me soon. After 48 hours I called FAHW to follow up and they told me the claim was denied because the technician wrote in his report that the pipe was cracked into 2 pieces and that this would not be covered because it wouldn't have been caused through regular use. This is not was I was told from Phillip and as I am 36 weeks pregnant and have a 2 year old I didn't think to have him show me the crack when he was here working. I called J&S to find out what the tech advised FAHW and the woman who answered the phone read me the report, which was very similar to the work order receipt but included an additional sentence about the pipe being cracked in 2 pieces. I asked if I could get clarification because the tech didn't show me the crack and what she was telling me and what he told me and wrote on my receipt were different and the difference was causing a denial. She laughed at me and said """"we sent them a picture and that's what it shows"""" very rudely. I asked her does the picture show it cracked or separated into 2 pieces because that makes the difference in my claim, I'm not understanding. She scoffed and told me """"we didn't deny anything they have the picture."""" I asked her to please not give me a rude attitude and that I was just trying to understand because I wasn't aware there was a picture and was trying to understand exactly what it shows. I asked her if she could send me the picture so I could see what she was talking about and before I could finish my sentence she yelled """"you know what no"""" and hung up on me. The company is now refusing to take my calls and sends me to voicemail every time I try to call. I just want to see the picture they sent to FAHW so I can compare it to what I see (the pipe is not in 2 pieces, I can't even see a crack in the top) so that I can dispute the claim with FAHW and have someone else come out to fix this issue. I also want to know why the technician told me one thing and gave me the impression that it would be covered and something completely different was submitted to FAHW. It seems like J&S Mechanical is trying to switch up the issue so that I'd have to pay them to fix it out of warranty.

Michelle G.Hello this is Krystal Glover my claim number is On February 8 2019 You all sent J and S mechanical to my home to evaluate a leaking toilet. They stated that leaking was due to a crack flange and that they would not be able to proceed in fixing it because I had to wait for the home warranty approval and already quoted me 375 to fix it as if they already knew that my claim would be denied.
Faith H.J&S was dispatched to us from our home warranty company after we had issues with the last company repeatedly cancelling. J&S came out the next day, were very timely and took care of the issue in less than 20 minutes! Everyone I spoke to and interacted with was friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Another warranty job, just out to make a buck. Should have taken the money and kept shopping around. Had I seen these other reviews first that is what I would have done.
Unbelievable.............technician argues with me as to where I live, told me I should number the streets better........I don't number streets. Left a voicemail and NO ONE returned my call. Technician called me and said he meant to call his Athens customer but was conveniently at home within 20 minutes of him calling me with his family.......how does that work. He went to the wrong house and blamed me..........said no one was there. As I read the reviews, seems this is a continuation of home warranty issues..........all I can say is WOW what a mess.
Lebbeous F.I had a water heater replaced under my home warranty by J&S this week. It seems to me they did everything right. Calls to schedule the estimate and then the actual work were both punctual. The two guys from J&S showed up on time and got the work done without wasting any time or trying to sell me anything I didn't want. All this the week before Christmas, so I'm pretty happy.
