Wow, what a terrible experience dealing with this company on an HVAC issue. To start, they misdiagnosed an issue with HVAC system beyond what is logical. The company does not seem to have an awareness that they have issues regarding service and especially customer service. Ms. Michelle god bless her know it all soul, should look at these reviews and say, what can we do to have a better reputation. But, due to her deficiencies in comprehension she unable to respond correctly to warranted issues. She is defensive and lacking in intelligence and professionalism and should go back to waitressing at IHOP. She gives the impression that her and her company are beyond reproach and can do and say as they please. Despite facts, they appear to take pride in their idiocy. Perhaps inbreeding prevents them from effectively running a business, perhaps it's a lack of education, maybe the warranty company pays them enough not not give a darn. Whatever the case maybe, I hope that this inbred, unintelligent, Waffle House ran business leaves the industry so that we will not be subject to dirty people coming to our houses smelling badly and looking as if showers are non existent in their lives.

J&S Mechanical was dispatched through our home warranty company to fix an AC problem. When the technician arrived he sat in my driveway in his truck for over 30 minutes before coming to the door. When he finally showed up he was smoking a cigarette. I asked him to put out the cigarette on my property and to please put on a mask to enter the house because I have a medical condition. The tech went back to his truck, finished smoking his cigarette, then hopped in his truck and drove off. When I called to report his unprofessional behavior, I spoke with Michelle and she seemed unconcerned with the situation, told me she would handle it in house, then told me that the work order which had already been approved by First American was not covered under warranty. My warranty company will not assign the work to a contractor unless the work is covered, so I have reported this incident to my home warranty company. Really unbelievable and totally unprofessional service by J&S. They do not even deserve one star.

This the WORST customer Service experience in the world. I just called to check the ETA at 5:00 pm since the window of time was from 12-6 pm and the rep told me that I was being """"Bichy"""" for even calling and asking for an idea of how long I should wait. This is obviously a representation of your company and the unprofessionalism you have working for you. She also hung up on me and when I tried to calling back she did not pick up the phone. I will NEVER have work done with these people.

Do not hire this company. Hired through my home warranty company. They said it was a part that needed replacing. Didn't hear back from them. Finally, I had to call and then found out J&S said the insurance company denied my claim. Called insurance and they said J&S said because of poor maintenance they wouldn't replace. When i called J&S back and spoke to Michelle. She was really rude and started telling me it was my fault because i didn't have a home inspection and they wouldn't cover it. No where in my contract does it state i needed a home inspection to get coverage. The AC unit was working when we bought the home, and a month later it stopped working. All of these really bad reviews here on Yelp are real. Be very weary if your home warranty hires this company.

Horrible customer support. Technician came to the house and did not have any freon with him because he supposedly ran out at his previous service stop. Technician was told that there was a newborn child in the home and that the repairs were needed urgently for the health and safety of the child but the report that he was to submit by the next morning was not submitted as promised. When I called customer service, I was repeatedly placed on hold while still speaking and when I requested that the technician return with freon to charge the system I was told that it may not be possible and the customer service woman hung up on me while I was still talking.

Very Unprofessional, Rude, Nasty this is the owner. The actual contractors I worked with are kind and professional as well as other office staff. I feel sorry they work for someone like Michelle. Will never give them my business again. Its so sad. I dont hang up on people because I find it disrespectful but when you disrespect me by arguing, getting defensive, not listening, and telling me that I have no choice but to deal with you. Well then I have to hang up. Hope your business is successful, looking at previous reviews there is a real issue. Times are already hard enough for people.

Do not use this company, you will regret it. They don't show up on the time frame they give you They give false information to Warranty company so the warranty company will denied your claim, so they can give you a quote to do the work outside the warranty company. The communication between the client and the main office is horrible. The contractor left repair area dirty and grime I wished I would have reviewed their reviews once the Warranty company identified who was coming to my house. This company has 1.5 stars out of 5 for 88 reviews, can you image how many others that haven't report their reviews I am not sure why they are in business. I ask the warranty company why are you using a company with such poor rating, and rec'd no answer

They gave me a window of 11AM-4PM, never showed. They called at 4:50PM stating he was 40 minutes out, still never showed. Called the next morning and was told he probably got lost (can't use that excuse these days) or maybe it was raining. Nope, 80 degrees and clear skies. Receptionist was rude and when I thanked her for her wonderful customer service, she said """"thanks and I hope you stay cool this weekend""""...did I mention they were supposed to fix my air conditioner? These people were referred by my home warranty company. If they are smart, they need to cut ties with them now!

Do not hire this company. They were hired through my home warranty company to replace our water heater. Once it was replaced, we lost all hot water pressure. I called and spoke to one female and then she put a male on the phone who proceeded to """"mansplain"""" why there was no possible way it was their fault or responsibility. I had a new contractor come out who immediately diagnosed the problem and it was an easy fix. The A&S tech had welded the new pipe from the wall to tje heater and fried the valve in the process. Just as I suspected, it was absolutely related to the recent installation. These guys refused to take responsibility or to have any accountability. Buyer beware! Below are images of what this brand new part should look like and what it looked like upon removal.

This is one of the worst experiences I've had. They take no responsibility for poor installation. The tech glues the air filter door shut. They did not install a filter in a new system. I discovered the omission after a few months. The representative told me basically why did I wait to let them know. The size was atypical so she gave me the wrong size to order. When I called to make that complaint the representative cussed me out because I was upset. She called me names while I just was in disbelief about their lack of professionalism.
