This company is awful. They failed to show up one day and had all the excuses. Ok, think they could make it on the next day they scheduled? Gave a window of 12 noon to 6pm and showed up after 8pm! The """"lead"""" technician could not have been more rude and said they are unable to even look at what's wrong because he didn't have the proper paperwork I guess the company gives them credit for just showing up at a home? Unbelievable! Management is unresponsive and unable to produce a plumbing license with the State of Georgia. I wish I had checked Yelp first ... I've actually never seen a company on Yelp with all 1 star reviews. I too, hate to write such a negative review ... however, in some cases like this it is important to alert potential customers of shady and possibly unlicensed businesses.

J & S is the absolute WORSE experience I have ever had. I have been inconvenienced for 2 weeks regarding my A/C. So we get a part ordered for my unit, the rep calls to schedule my appointment between 8am and 1pm. I have someone to sit at my home to meet them. NO ONE called. I called twice to get an update as to where the technician was. Finally at 1:05 the rep calls me and states the technician is about 30 to 45 minutes out. I state that this is ridiculous and high inconvenient. All she states is """"There was an accident on the highway"""". So WHAT!! Where is the communication prior to 1pm letting the customer know that there is an issue? My home warranty company """"First American """" called these guys on my behalf. Clearly I would not recommend these guys. Additionally, I will be going with another home warranty company because I think they should have better contractors. Their customers pay a pretty monthly fee and definitely deserve professional services.

Worst contractor i have ever dealt with of many many contractors on my 30 year old house. My 30 year old furnace went out recently. I called my home warranty co. first american which has very long hold times. Up to an hour or more at times. They assigned J&S. J&S said it took the home warranty co. a week to deliver the furnace. Once they said they got it they came out the next day. I was in California visiting a dying relative so left my roommate to deal with the situation and told him to call me when they completed the job and I would make payment. I have learned to never pay a contractor prior to the work being done to my satisfaction. I was having poor phone service but my roomie contacted me and said they would not start without payment. I promptly called the office and the girl told me there that she would have them go along with the work. My roommmate calls me back five minutes later and says the crew left. Mind you it was going to be 15 degress that night. I immediately called the office back and found out she lied and did not call the crew but called the owner who told her they do not do work without previous payment due to being burned in the past. I know this is not true because i have used J&S in the past without that requirement. She told the crew to go to the next job. So that my roommate two cats and a bunny would not freeze over night in below 40 degree temperatures inside which you may know is about like 10 outside. It was literally five minutes after they left and I reluctantly agreed to pay prior to the work being done. She would not call them back under any circumstances. Also they replaced my thermostat with a non programmable one and lied and said the one i had was non programmable. I am waiting more than two days now for them to call me back to get that replaced at my home warranties insistence. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If you do not believe me just read all the other reviews. And know if you have a home warranty like me you can always request an alternate contractor come out. I would like to suggest Ace Pierce appliance repair they are very knowledgeable helpful and friendly and will explain everything to you. The amount that J&S charged me out of pocket was $1,400 for supposedly bringing my 30 year old system up to code. I have seen whole systems to be installed for $1,300 so i think it was a ripoff. Absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with in my entire life. Rude and completely lacks any customer service focus. If it wasn't for my home warranty picking this terrible company I would have told them to get off my property the first time they were here. Stay away from this company if you want to keep your blood pressure in check!

Home warranty company called this company on my behalf. I talked to the owner and she couldn't get me my charges and once I got them couldn't explain them to me and got frustrated that I was asking questions. I said I would write reviews about their lack of service. In spite of this I agreed to have them do the work. Everyday I talked to them last week and they agreed to com out on Friday and do the install. When you call they would say the next day. Finally today after not having air for 3.5 weeks, she said I hadn't agreed to the charges, I personally spoke to her two times on Thurs. and once on Friday. She knew I had agreed to their charges, but was leading me on. They never planned on installing my new ac. Now, I have to start over with a new company. I think all the one star reviews speak for themselves. This company should not be in business.

I hate to be that guy who only writes bad reviews... J&S are contractors for a large home warranty firm. The warranty company dispatched them to troubleshoot a hot water issue at a rental condo of mine. I contacted them directly telling them they needed to work directly with the tenant regarding scheduling. When the plumber arrived he called me from the security gate asking me to let him in. I told him to contact the tenant since I don't live there and didn't have access to the security system. He repeated his request. I repeated my answer. He then hung up on me. When I tried to call him back he wouldn't answer. He finally connected with the tenant and diagnosed the issue and had to order a part. He requested that he needed the water turned off when he returned to complete the repairs. When he returned with the part he said he couldn't locate the shut off. The plumber was walking the property in an attempt to locate the shut off. He called my tenant as he walked the other side of the property. While on the phone with each other my tenant ran into another resident of the complex and asked him if he knew where the shut off was. The resident jokingly said to my tenant, """"How the f*ck do I know. Shouldn't the plumber know?"""" Hearing this the plumber went ballistic. """"I don't need to be talked to like this. I'm leaving!"""" No one was talking to him. It was a random comment from a random resident. So he left with the part and no repairs completed. I called the office and spoke to a woman who said that her employees didn't have to listen to that and that they weren't coming back and I was rude to him we he called me to let him in...yada, yada, yada. She was completely unprofessional and would not listen to reason. After doing some research about J&S I discovered that this company has similar issues with other clients. I've been in the service business for a long time. Sometimes you need to leave your ego at the door, be professional and grow some thick skin. People don't call you to say 'hello'. They call because they need help and may even be desperate.

Never ever use this company! Not only are they incompetent but they're also rude. They were assigned to me by my home warranty company. They caused a leak and refused to even look at the issue. I'm so disgusted with there work and the outcomes I am filing a lawsuit! Clearly, I have enough evidence. They don't deserving any stars.

Do yourself and favor and never use this company. They are not only rude but don't stand behind their work. The work they did to our air conditioning failed after 3 weeks and they would not come out and make it right. One of the worst companies I have ever had dealings with.

I'm not sure about the other reviews, but after being assigned this company by my warranty company, I believe they are highly professional and very courteous! The girls in the office were extremely friendly and they got my claim right in and processed. The technician, Alex, was prompt and explained the issue and what he did very clearly. I was very happy with their work and the way things were handled!

I was assigned this company through my home warranty company (First American). I have had excellent service. I have a leak in my AC unit. They have had to come out twice (not because of their own doing) to determine the issue. Both times, the serviceman (Dustin) was professional and friendly. He explained in detail the issue, what is needed to repair it and the estimated costs associated with the repair. I have used other warranty companies and their contractors, and this by FAR has been the best experience. I don't leave reviews often but after seeing the two negative reviews and having a good experience, I felt I should write something.
