Our regular furnace repair company claimed we needed to replace the furnace. JS Harlow came and did a thorough diagnostic and everything is fine. Very nice and honest person who takes pride in their extensive knowledge of American Standard furnaces. Spent time to explain everything and test to ensure it was all safe and working properly.

I give JS Harlow my highest level of recommendation. Jeff is hands-down BY FAR the best service technician I have ever had at my property. He stopped by my house in an urgent situation on very short notice. It was a very cold day and my heating system was having trouble. He was able to stop by quickly and address the issue.

This was a complicated issue (that two other previous companies could not diagnose) and he was able to get to the bottom of it in a matter of minutes. He gave an honest opinion about the issues and even suggested ways that I could save a bit of money. This was a huge relief after dealing with those other companies who tried to trick me into piling on the additional expenses that really weren't needed to solve the issue. I am very glad to have finally found a trustworthy heating service company.

Jeff is very skilled and brings true expertise to any give situation. I had a leak in my AC Unit and after getting two varied opinions (big companies) I was referred to Jeff by a friend. I had a consistent problem but it seem to be a temporary fix . When I called Jeff he came promptly and diagnosed the issue. Unlike many big companies where they send any available technician out, Jeff is very meticulous, detailed, and thinks through the issue and the best possible way to resolve it. Most importantly the job is done the correct way without any hassle! He has many years of work experience and is very reputable. I highly recommend his work.

I have had my AC unit and water heater replaced by J S Harlow. I must say I am very satisfied so far and I would recommend. The owner is very honest and he completes the job according to his estimates. On both jobs, he did not charge more than what he originally estimated. He does not pull the trick such as ""I have to get a tool from my shop, so it will take more time and will cost you more in labor charge"".

Also, he does not recommend to replace whole unit because of minor issues. He tries his best to fix it and presents replacement as last resort.

Only reason I don't give 5 start is because he does not provide financing for his jobs. For things like replacing furnaces, it would be very helpful.

Overall, I am very satisfied with them.
