My 92 year old mother had a toilet that you had to hold the handle down to flush. J Rowe "fixed" this, and charged her $590. They had to come back the next day because it was doing the same thing. Replacing the entire internals of the tank - handle and everything else - shouldn't cost more than half this much, and definitely shouldn't require a return visit, either. I know everything's gone up, but this was ridiculous, and I think they took advantage of her.

Absolute amazing customer service and knowledgeable employees. They were faced with a difficult slab leak at my house. They found a way to cause very minimal damage and restore hot water to an island sink. They also were tasked with repairing a few other smaller items that a prior plumber failed to complete. I am impressed and will be using them in the future for any plumbing needs. I will recommend them to everyone!

I had this company out a few times to fix some minor plumbing issues in my home. They did a great job each time, but were always supposed to return with some type of screw "part" to finish my dishwasher issue - yet they never made it back. I called them again this summer to fix a cracked vanity before I put my house up for sale. I must have called them 20 times over a period of a few weeks, but they never returned my calls. I understand all contractors and repair people were overwhelmed and overbooked this year due to the housing boom here locally, but to not return one's calls is inexcusable when you own/run a business. If you can get them to return your call for help, they do a decent job. It's a shame their customer service is lacking.

Water heater went out, called them at 7 am and they were done by 11:45.
Will and Joel were professional and did a good job.
Would use them again.

J. Rowe contacted me on Monday to set up an appointment. He was scheduled to be at my house Friday at 10 AM. He did not show up at 10, so by 11 I tried to contact him. He did not answer my call so I left a message. I tried to contact him again at noon. This time he sent me to voicemail after one ring. I tried to call back and he turned his phone off. My wife and I both work 12 hour shifts. Today is her only day off, and she was stuck at home waiting on this guy to show up to the appointment he scheduled. I decided to contact Richard Holt Plumbing, and they are sending someone out today to take care of my problem. Do not waste your time contacting this company!
