DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY! They do not honor their warranties!
Last year (2020), we had our entire house re-piped for about $8,000. J Rowe plumbing gave us a 20 year manufacture's warranty and a 5 year parts and labor warranty. This was stated on my signed invoice as well as well as the statement "Warranty does not cover rodent damage." This was all that was stated about this warranty. Unfortunately, one of our outdoor, frost-free, hose bibs was leaking water into the house as well as through the brick exterior. J Rowe plumbing wanted to charge me $275 to repair something that was clearly covered under our warranty that was on my signed invoice. The technician was extremely friendly and told me to call the office when I didn't agree. I finally got on the phone with Mishell, the co-owner of the company. Mishell told me that this was not covered under the warranty and that freezing pipes is considered "common knowledge" about not being covered under warranty. I asked her why the warranty exclusions were not put on the contract/invoice. She stated that it would "take up too much room." I told her once again what my invoice stated about the warranty (the only exclusion being rodent damage) and she would not honor it. I asked her to send me an email listing the warranty exclusions and she said "I will get to it when I have time--I'm busy." I told her that I wasn't happy of her decision and also told her that she needs to include the warranty exclusions in her invoices for the future. I also said that I thought it was sad that she would destroy a relationship with someone over a part that costs $15. She said "well [the relationship] has already been damaged." Clearly an $8,000 job doesn't mean anything to this company. I will not be recommending J Rowe plumbing to anyone in the future. I am disappointed that someone would run their company like this. A suggestion would be to apologize for not having it included and fix it without charge. I have still yet to receive this warranty exclusion email. Clearly customer service is not J Rowe Plumbing's forte, nor is the owner concerned about customer service.

Highly recommend J Rowe, after looking online for a plumber that I felt I could trust I decided to try out J Rowe. I called them after 8:00 and Meshell actually answered me. She was professional and was able to make me an appointment for the next day. Then on the next day, she called and was able to get a plumber out to me sooner. Dillon was our plumber, no hassle and didn't try to up sell us additional things. He was also professional and respectful and got the job done fast and right. I will definitely spread the word for them.

I have used James Rowe Plumbing service as my go to team several times over the years and they have always been professional and provide top notch service. I continue to use them without hesitation.

My a/c was creating condensation and leaking on floor. I looked up air conditioning repair and talked with a lady and explained my problem. James Rowe came up on the web. I called them and explained my problem and they sent out a friendly young gentleman. He looked at my unit and said, "you need an a/c guy to look at this". I asked him what he was and he replied mainly plumbing. So I asked him did I just waist $99 and he said yes. They may be good at Plumbing I don't know but I would not call them for a/c repair. My name is Gary Gordon. I had never used this company before nor had I heard of them. I just crossed my fingers and prayed. I was dealing with another company to help me with an unusual plumbing problem with my kitchen sink. I was told point blank that I needed to purchase a completely new faucet because of ONE small part. Of course I did want to. I called J. Rowe and they Jeremy. He and his assistant promptly diagnosed the problem. Jeremy took a picture of the broken part and sent it to his parts guy. Within the hour he had the part and installed it! He was fantastic! Needless to say that I was extremely pleased and relieved! Thanks to Jeremy and J. Rowe my New go to plumber. 5 plus stars.

Need to replace my water heater and their estimate was roughly $500 Marie than anyone else in the city. Please be aware!!!

Our hot water heater was leaking and we called J Rowe Plumbing to come out on a Sunday! Misti was excellent in scheduling my service and was a pleasure to speak with. Dillon and Jay were amazing. The showed us how our hot water heater 'died' and make a recommendation for a new unit. Still, on Sunday, they went back to their office, picked up the new hot water heater and had it installed and back up to code in no time. Both guys were very pleasant, professional and did an amazing job. I will definitely call them back for any plumbing needs.

J Rowe Plumbing recently replaced our hot water heater as well as plumbing for a shower stall redo. Our hot water heater location presented some challenges as it was surrounded by 3 walls that didn't leave room for the now required drain pan. They worked with us to figure out how to get the pan in without tearing down walls. Success!
The shower fixtures and installation were perfect.
All appointments were met on time. Customer service was excellent and the experience of working with them gratifying.

It was a terrible experience. I called after hours and advised them I already had someone out and already know I have a complex problem/clog that will require digging and going through the sewer line vs a quick fix with a snake. They said don't worry, they'll do whatever they have to in order to get the plumbing working tonight. Then they came over and charged me $99 to tell me that I have a complex problem/clog require digging up the sewer line which they couldn't do right then. I had to pay them to drive to my house and repeat what I told them when I called them to come out and do absolutely nothing else.

Please use caution when selecting this company for servicing your plumbing needs. They partially completed a job by removing my water closet a week ago because I was having new flooring replaced. When I contacted them this week to have them return to reinstall the closet, I asked what the total charge would be. How about over $400 initially. When I questioned why so high, it was reduced to $351. This was to remove a toilet...20 minutes at most leave and return at another date to reinstall it. Then, I asked Jeffery about the company warranty, as I was concerned if they would cover my flooring if the toilet leaked. He balked and said no he would not cover it. I then asked to have a written warranty for the services I would be paying for. I did not receive a favorable answer and he hung up. Later in the morning I received an email stating I owed them $156 for the initial service and that I had requested they not return to complete the job. This was a frivolous statement, I said no such thing. I will pay my $156 as I owe that, but this shady action and cost for his services are way over the top and needs to be heard by future clients.
