I was experiencing low hot-water pressure in my kitchen faucet and attempted to replace the faucet cartridge, in the hopes of solving the problem myself. Instead, I created a leaking faucet, with water running from the bottom of the sink as soon as I turned the water back on. I called J-Rivas Plumbing (at the recommendation of another plumber who didn't service my area). Jorge answered and was able to work me into their schedule that same morning. He came out promptly and fixed my faulty installation of the faucet cartridge...no more leaking faucet! Then he found the actual source of the low hot-water pressure problem...which ended up being some sediment buildup in the hot water line under the sink. Once he scraped it out, the pressure was back to normal. Jorge was courteous, quick, and professional; and the price was very reasonable. I definitely recommendJ-Rivas Plumbing.

Found a coupon in get 1 free magazine and checked the reviews on Yelp and I was super excited to possibly find a good plumber.

Well I called on a Tuesday and was told they could not come out till Friday somewhere between 3 - 3:30. Got a call at 3 telling me they would be late and that they would be there closer to 4. At 4:40 got another call stating that it would take them about 30 mins to get to my house.

Well sorry, I could not acomodate that as even it they had showed at 4 they would have been out of my house before the time they were now proposing they were going to be at my house to START the job.

So the quest to find a good plumber continues as does the leak in my sink

I also found out about these guys in the Buy 1 Free magazine. They were very professional, knew exactly what I was talking about over the phone, worked very efficiently and professionally and made sure he took the time to show me everything he was doing and why. They even called me a couple of days later to make sure there were no other problems or leaks. I will definitely be using them again.

Came across the J-Rivas advertisement in the Buy 1 Free magazine and after doing a quick Yelp search, decided to call them for service (last minute). They were able to come out within a few hours after their first service of the day and my husband said that (didn't catch his name, I think it was the Father?), anyway, he explained everything that he was doing and even showed my husband how to remove the little sink plug (didn't realize it was more complicated than just pulling/screwing it off!). He was really nice and professional and we definitely recommend J-Rivas Plumbing for your plumbing needs. I now have their number on my fridge for future reference!

I was recommended to J-Rivas Plumbing by a friend that has used their service. I was interested in a tankless water heater to replace my old water heater. I called Gabe and he and his father promptly came out to discuss the different sizes and pricing with my wife and I. They professionally installed the water heater and it has worked great ever since. We never have to worry about running out of hot water. Additionally this past week, we were worried about a leak from our shower upstairs. They came out promptly to check for leaks. I will be using them again for all our plumbing needs. We love to support family owned businesses and appreciate the great service!

I've been using J-Rivas Plumbing for 2 years now and I highly recommend them. They are a father / son team who are licensed, very knowledgeable, have all the modern tools with a fancy truck and water pressure shooter, and charge a very fair and reasonable rate for their high caliber work. I met Gabriel (son) when he was a tenant at one of the properties that I manage (I own High Tide Properties, a property management company). He told me that he and his father were starting out their own plumbing company. So I gave them a try and was very happy with the work and I've been giving them work for the last 2 years. They will always be up front and descriptive of the work that needs to be done and they have ALWAYS figured out and resolved whatever issue I've had in the past, including one major gas leak that involved repiping under the building and taking multiple days. But they got the problem resolved.
