Well after using this company for several years on our own home and some rentals we are parting ways with them. They are under new ownership and the customer service is gone!!

We made a call to wortman on the 18th of December, explained to the already irritated gentlemen we had a clogged/slow drain. He became increasingly irritated and gave off a vibe of your really bothering me with this? He gave a few suggestions that we had already tried. So we asked if he came to our town, he said yes but his attitude said were not going to bother with something this small. He said everything was booked through the end if the week, but he personally said I will call you friday the 19th to set up a appointment on Monday the 22nd. We waited all day friday, no phone call, all day monday, no phone call! If you didn't want to do it, just say so! VERY RUDE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I realize this wasn't a huge money making job, but this isnt the way to do business. I wont be sending any business your way!

Wortman is an honest plumbing business. They are reliable, dependable and competitive in pricing and less costly than most. They do the job you called them for and do it well. They are trustworthy in every respect. I would call them in the future should I need any plumbing repaired or installed. Hats off to Wortman.

JR Wortman Co. has been a long time business in Morristown. They operate the small hardware store, along with have skilled employees who drive their vans and do heating, cooling, and plumbing repairs and new installs.

If you need a heating, cooling, or plumbing part, or nuts, bolts, drills, and basic hardware / home construction types of items they sell it here in their small store on Main St. Prices may be a bit higher, but in a pinch, and not wanting to drive 10+ miles to a Home Depot or Lowe's, their higher prices balances itself out.

And they're a mom-n-pop family run business, with several employees, but they can not purchase the volume the big box stores do, so I am sure they pay for more their inventory, thus having to mark it up a bit more too.

Their service technicians are on call 24hrs a day for emergency services at a premium after hours rate, which is normal in the industry, or during the day. They can usually get to you that same day or the next day depending on how serious your work is. If they're just doing an install of a bathtub and you have broken pipes flooding your house, I am sure they will leave and be right to you, haha.

The techs are skilled in their field and try to offer a fair estimate of services and parts before doing your job. If you live in the Morristown area and need something done, they can do it.
