Bogus reviews, most of these reviews consist of friends of the company. As you can see on the google reviews, people have consistently had problems with this including myself. As you can see, Audrey had the same problem. They take way to long to come out, and leave problems once paid.

Responded within minutes. Did a great job cleaning out the exterior drainage that must have been clogged for years. We got quotes from several other contractors and John's was the best. He was also very thorough with describing how the work was done and sent before and after pictures. We will definitely contact him again for plumbing issues and recommend it to others!

Never hire this company, they are horrible. They canceled at the last minute, didn't explain the extra charge, and the manager was EXTREMELY RUDE to my wife on the phone. I don't care if they have done some good job in the past. That does not explain the lack of professionalism in treating their clients. RUN from this company!

They worked on our pipes about 1 year ago. They came out in a timely manner, and seemed to do a good job. (The Sheetrock contractor they recommended was horrendous). Fast forward to current time, we had another leak. Our normal handyman was able to come out. We found: 1. He cut out much more Sheetrock than was necessary, costing much more than necessary on that repair. 2. The repair itself was extremely poorly done. 3. Everywhere he tied new pipes to old pipes was leaking. We now have mold issues. DO NOT call this company. They're good on the surface but the repairs don't last.

I contracted with this company after the building's property manager referred me. The inspection of the work required the plumber to return. Payment was rendered in full, and I was double charged for services for approximately one month after they were paid and service rendered. I've reached out to this company through various methods to get my funds refunded, but they have failed to respond. It's been over 30 days. I do not suggest using this company. They are extremely slow to respond, and customer service is evasive. Be careful when using a credit card with this company.

From a customer service perspective; I think they are fundamentally awful. I needed a new water heater installed per my condo building. Called J.R. and they came out initially. To be fair, the building advised that they could use a tall or short water heater so they brought a tall one and ultimately that one wouldn't fit in my unit so they had to reschedule. They charged a restock fee and a reschedule fee. I think the reschedule fee is kinda crazy but no big deal. I think it was like $250, so I paid it. Then I get a text from John who advised since I don't live in the property it's a $1000 deposit (because that's their policy). Again, weird but OKAY...I pay it. Once they got the 1000 dollar deposit they literally went dark for WEEKS. I followed up, once, Followed up again. Nothing. Finally text John directly who said, """"Oh something came up, we will get to it"""". So wait a minute, something came up and you don't tell the client who $1000 you are just holding?? Doesn't make sense. So then they schedule a date, I reach out to my tenant at the end of that day to confirm that the install went well...he tells me, """"no one came"""". Well look at that! The company that charges $250 for a client reschedule just doesn't show up, doesn't call or anything? How convenient. I reach out to John asking what's going on. Of course no response. He just has his team send me a new date randomly. That new date was 8/2/23. On 8/1, the team calls me and tells me that the tech will arrive tomorrow between 8-10am. ---- On 8/2, I get a call while I'm in the middle of a meeting at 12:30pm from the staff saying, """"the tech is running late"""" --- Ughhh yea, at this point over 2 hours late and you all are just calling me? But of course she get's right to why she's really calling, """"Should we charge the card on file for the final payment"""" -- I said, """"I don't know what card you have on file but when I get out of my meeting I will call you to confirm all details. Reminder: This is the same company that has held my $1000 deposit A MONTH and for the most part were unresponsive but you are calling me BEFOR your tech even arrives talking about what card do you charge? I couldn't believe it. So about an hour later, I get a text from John. """"Waiting on payment. We need that before starting. If we have to reschedule again there will be a $250 charge."""" Are these people crazy? The staff member who called me never said anything about not starting until they received full payment but the NERVE of this guy to say there will be a $250 charge to reschedule after they have rescheduled and missed appointments MULTIPLE times is literally insane. I wrote back to him letting him know that I think he and his company are incredibly tacky because....well they are. -- Ultimately I called in and paid them just to get this done but these people are super unprofessional and I would recommend you look elsewhere for plumbing services.

Initial communication for delayed arrival could have been better but service was effective and efficient. He woke a mask and took shoes off. He was also really helpful in sharing with us how we can essentially help ourselves with a simple clog for next time which I appreciated. Would use his services again.

Worst experience EVER!! I had a water heater that was still under warranty. It initially cost $1000 for the new tank and labor. To replace the tank when it failed, UNDER WARRANTY, the tank was """"free"""" to replace but labor was $680 ( Which included at $25 late fee because I failed to pay in 48 hrs ).

JR Plumbing performed a tub/shower (insert combo) replacement in a rental property I own. Their first bid had the insert tub marked up about 100% - when I challenged they reduced that line item so I approved for them to proceed. They did the install but left a disaster behind.... huge hole in a closet wall, torn up flooring and other cosmetic issues. They left and never said a word to my property manager nor myself..... we learned when the tenant complained. This vendor literally left a train wreck behind and are not taking responsibility. They never indicated that their proposal was not for a complete job including the post install cosmetics. I know have to have a different vendor come in for $1300 just to clean up JR's mess bringing my total cost to over $2500. Meanwhile, I had to replace a tub in another unit in the same building - of course used a different vendor and they did the COMPLETE job including cosmetics for $1450. LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU WANT GOOD COMPLETE WORK!

I have an issue with a toilet that is phantom flushing and running up my water bill. I hired J.R. Plumbing to come and repair it. My appointment was for 12/13/2021, but the plumber ran into vehicle issues and had to put it off until the next day. He came out on 12/14/2021 and replaced parts in the tank to repair it. I paid him and he left. Shortly after he left I discovered that not only was my toilet still phantom flushing, but that it was doing it 3 times more frequently than it was before he worked on it. I contacted him and he said that he would order a part that would overnight to him, and then he would be back out. I waited and didn't hear back, so I contacted him on Thursday and he said the part would be in by the next day...Friday. I texted him to see when he would be coming out and waited and didn't hear anything from him or the company on Friday, so I texted him again about it on Saturday. He said that the company was supposed to reach out to me on Friday and that he didn't work on weekends. I texted back that I wasn't asking him to work on weekends, but I did expect responses to my texts. It is now Monday, 12/20/2021 and I reached out to the company today....but still haven't received any responses from either the plumber or the company yet today and it is 2:14pm now. I texted that if they didn't schedule with me today, then I want a refund. They haven't responded yet. UPDATE: 12/20/2021: Right after I posted the first review I received a call from the plumber John saying that he would come out next. He did come by within 30 minutes and fully repaired my toilet. It has been about 4 hours and I haven't noticed any other issues. So I will upgrade my review for the work being very good the second time, but cannot go too high due to the lack of communication from the company and slow initial responses. The plumber John always responded to my texts except for one, but the company did not.
