I was very disappointed with the service I received from Seacoast Sewer and Drain. I paid Seacoast Sewer and Drain $120 for a service call to visit my home (10 miles away from their Kittery office). The service call was to review a sewer leakage problem I was having and to provide an estimate for the repairs. On June 6, 2022, they completed a service call, took pictures and I was told that I would receive an estimate for the required repairs. On June 28, 2022, I called to ask about the status of my estimate. On July 5th, I called again asking for the estimate. I was told that I would not be getting an estimate for the repairs because they were very busy and cannot take on additional work. I asked for my money back and was told they will not provide a refund since they did complete the service call. Bottom line, I paid $120 for a 'service call and an estimate' but only received a 15 minute service call. I spent $120 and have nothing to show for it. No estimate and no refund. Documented my frustration and dissatisfaction in a letter to the company dated July 8, 2022. No response. No apology. No refund. Definitely feel ripped-off.

I discovered a sewer backup on a Sunday night and decided to wait until Monday morning to start calling around to find someone to help. After a few unanswered voice mails to other companies, SS&D answered the phone right away. The woman who answered was very helpful and arranged for one of the plumbers who was currently on a job to contact me ASAP. Not long after he called and said he would be right over.

He quickly fixed the clog problem plus a few other issues that I knew about. (deferred maintenance) When you have an old house/system, you always cross your fingers and they helped get things up and running again after a short time and at a reasonable price.

Used this Company for the first and last time. We had two plugged toilets and one guy showed up who fixed the problem in less than one hour. The bill was $395.00. Outrageous to say the least!! I asked him if there was any warranty on the work and he told me no. So if it happens again in the near future we are screwed. NEVER AGAIN for this outfit!!! BTW: This job was done during normal working hours. Approximately 9 AM to 10 AM and it took two days for them to show up here.

The woman taking the calls is the absolute rudest and arrogant person that I have ever spoken with over the phone. Tried to schedule a drain cleanout. Tried to explain the job was a little unusual...may need special parts....she said...""listen honey, we do this for a living we know what we are doing better than you do"". She said,then said, do you want an appointment or not...I said OK...she gave me a date, I asked her what time....and she said....you are too hard to deal with maybe you should call someone else and hung up.......never seen such a bad attitude.
Makes me wonder what sort of chaotic business they are running.
