I, too, was advised to use this company for any plumbing needs. I happened to be the last day of a ""staycation"" and he asked whether he could come a day later. When I told him that I was home for the day, he nicely worked me into that day's schedule. He quickly diagnosed the problem, quoted me a fair price and was finished quickly. He's an old school plumber that cares about his customer and I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

Very rude and impolite. I called this company and Maria answered my phone, I tried to describe the problem I have and what plumbing service I need, she rudely interrupt my call and said ""what kind of plumbing you need? I don't need all the details and I don't have time to listen to all of this"" All my conversation from greeting and my description and disconnecting was about 48 second. How did I talke a lot for her? If She didn't have time or she is not patient to listen to my problemnt how this company wants to fix my plumbing issue. She is not right person for this job.

One of the drivers (assuming that there's more than 1) tried to run me off the road this morning. I was driving today with my 12 month baby and 2 daughters in the car and there was a car in front of me slowing down to make a right turn so naturally I slowed down only to look in my rear view mirror and see a guy in a van driving extremely close behind me to the point that I had to speed up in order not to get rear ended and turned onto the fwy on ramp to get away from this crazy driver. As I was approaching the on ramp the driver swerved around me and speeded up. That's how I caught the name of the business on the back of the van. Please tell your drivers to be more careful!!!! Some of us have our children in our cars! I have never been so scared of getting hit by a car as I was today.... and that shows a lot because I have been driving for over 20 years. (Yes in LA).

He was recommended by so many people on Nextdoor I was sure he was good. He was in and out fixing a clogged kitchen in record time for a reasonable charge. I will have him back again and again.

On Christmas Day, the cleanout from the house to the sewer backed up from roots in the pipe. I called Roto-Rooter. They got enough of the roots out to clear the line.

The following week I called Jeff because of a recommendation I got from a friend who is a CA licensed general contractor.

Jeff put a camera in the cleanout and showed me where the remaining roots were ... then ... we had a discussion respecting what choices were available to prevent roots from getting into the cleanout in the future.

What impressed me was what Jeff advised that I did not need. He said I did not need to dig up the driveway and replace the pipe. He also told me that I did not need to line the pipe which is expensive [5K-7K].

Jeff recommended hydro jetting the pipe ... which would remove any roots remaining. He said that after this process, he would pour a solution into the line which inhibits [slows down] the roots from returning for a while. However, he advised maintenance every 6 months to ensure that no roots were returning.

WOW ... what an honest guy ... Wish there were more folks like Jeff ""around these parts.""

Best out there! Have used many plumbers but nothing even compares!! You might pay a little more money but well worth the cleanliness and quality of work we received!! A good, clean and timely plumber is hard to find!!

Talk about money down the drain! Kitchen sink stopped up. A ""friend"" recommended McKeeve when my usual plumber was away. Robert's snake got stuck in the pipe under the house and it took time to get it out. He never checked the area between the sink and the pipe going down to the line he had dealt with. I was charged over $400, then had to pay additional money to another plumber who took 15 minutes to get the simple work done properly and for an acceptable fee. Anyone who thinks of hiring this company is plumb crazy!!!

Excellent! Called several plumbers today with an emergency and no one was willing or able. Robert called back and came exactly when we planned. There was a leak that was not visible and he was knowledgeable enough to go right to the source opening the ceiling in just the right spot. The bill was reasonable and he provided other good advice about our pressure meter at the street. This was a blind call on my part and there were only 2 reviews here and one not so nice. I can't vouch for anyone else, but Robert was terrific today. Thanks!

I can't say enough positive things about McKeeve's. When our regular plumber wasn't able to replace our hot water heater, I called McKeeve's. Jeff came out the next morning, took photos and measurements of our current heater; he called that night and explained to us what we needed to do and that he would take care of it as soon as possible. His plumbers arrived on time and worked efficiently and professionally. Since then we've had them replace valves under our bathroom sinks and replaced the main water shutoff. Jeff is currently researching new bathroom hardware for us. I have seldom worked with a company that is this efficient and capable. They may be expensive (I really don't think they're way out of line), but you get what you pay for. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We used them to install new bathroom faucets/fixtures in a home we recently moved into. The charges were very high - but being new to the area the plumber assured us the fees were for the job and customary. Today we needed help unclogging a plugged toilet. The bill was way out of line. The charge for 1 hour and 15 minutes was $436.00. When I expressed concern about the high fee I was told it was the cost of the job. Robert (the plumber) appeared smug and was not about to lower the fee. We will never use J. Mc Keeve Plumbing again!
