Called this morning to get fill valve in toilet fixed. Guy who answered the phone was very nice and said they'd be out between 9:30 and 11. Nice guy Ruben came and fixed problem. I like this company. They are easy to work with, do a good job and we highly recommend them.

Their customer service is fantastic! I recently tried changing my own Water heater, I ran into a problem and called McCabe. The gentleman who answered the phone took the time to help me solve my problem he was very knowledgeable and was able to give me troubleshooting tips over the phone. I really appreciate him helping when he easily could have sent a technician and charged me. These guys care about their customers. I highly Recommend them. Thank you Andrew!

I used J. McCabe plumbing in the past and was pleased with the work and fair pricing. However, this time not so much. I had a leak from my gutter for months and was concerned it was a major problem. A nice young man came out, opened the gutter and problem was solved. Ten minutes and no plumbing required. I was charged $300 for this. Last time my toilet fix was $250 requiring a lot more time and work. I was told they raised their rate to $300 minimum per visit at the beginning of the year. If I had been told this when I called, I could have decided whether or not to go ahead. I'm a senior on a fixed budget and having used them in the past didn't think to ask. i definitely feel I was overcharged for what was done.

Disappointing. Came out several times. Work was fine, but customer responsiveness is very poor. Final time I overspent on camera work to figure out sewer issue. Took weeks to get results from them. Even with results, called two times to get someone to do the work, no response.

I have switched to another plumber, and NOW I know a good plumber.

I called McCabe Plumbing to fix garbage disposal in vegetable sink and one toilet flapper. I was told I need a new disposal. I asked how much the disposal would cost so Don went out to my garage came back and quoted me $475. I told him that was outrageous and told me that included the disposal, labor, flappers everything. Still seems high I'm going to call Jamey, he installed 5 new toilets 6 years ago. He said Jamey sold the company, I asked where he went said he didn't know and the new owner kept the company name. I asked why they sent two plumbers and was told he's in training but I am only being charged for one plumber. I agreed to the already outrageous $475 quote and the ""trainee"" installed my disposal. Two days later I get an invoice emailed to me for $525. I immediately called the company and Jamey answered the phone. I said I was told you sold the company, he said no I'm still here everyday don't know why he would tell you that. I discussed discrepancy and he told me service call is $300 to come out and I was billed incorrectly it should be $675. I will NEVER use this company again. Next time I will call the handyman.

Super appreciate the service I received!! I had a badly damaged whole home water filtration system on my home that had been leaking. I was able to have Jamie, the owner of J McCabe, take a look at it. Within a couple hours, he and his assistant had a brand new system on my home. The best part is that the Aquasana system he put in was nearly half of the cost from the Pelican system I previously had and the water tastes a hundred times better!! As a real estate professional, I can't imagine recommending any other business for this service other than J McCabe. Incredible experience all the way around!!

I would recommend J McCabe to any of my friend. I had Nick came over to install the Aquasana water system. He is a artist of plumbing! It is not hard to tell that he hand his job seriously with whole attention. Calm, thorough and excellent! In the over 100F temperature, he worked non stop from early morning to mid afternoon not only installed Aquasona, also fixed my tankless water heater. When the job was done, he made my garage so clean. I am impressed!

Our pipes backed up really good and gray water started backing up into our showers. We had company visiting from out of town in a couple of days. We unsuccesfully tried to snake it ourselves. At the recommendation of some friends, we called up J. McCabe plumbing.

Nick came by and was very courteous and professional. After failing to clear the drain from the cleanout, he climbed on the room and snaked from the roof vents. This cleared out the blockage and we have fast flowing drains ever since.

I first used McCabe plumbing earlier this year when my general contractor hired them to do the minor plumbing work for a kitchen remodel. They did a great job on that project. I then purchased a new (20 year old) home and asked Jamie McCabe to give a quote for a variety of things (add seismic gas shutoff valve, rebuild piping at the house to add a pressure regulator and Flo by Moen water leak detection system, video scope the sewer line as well as adding an expansion tank to the hot water heater and replace some leaky fittings under the sink and at toilets). Jamie was not the lowest bid, but because of my experience with him, I accepted the proposal and had them do the job. Within a few days, they had the entire job done, and I wanted to give a shout out to their plumber Jerry who did perfect work as can be seen in the pictures - he is detail-oriented and made a complex plumbing task look perfect. I'm pleased to have McCabe plumbing do my work.
