We were referred to McCabe Plumbing when we had a leak with our sewer line underneath our house. We needed this issue resolved extremely quick. They were able to figure out the issue and make repairs within the day. They were very professional and did a great job. I would recommend McCabe Plumbing to any Friend and Family member.

I was referred to McCabe Plumbing by an HVAC company and glad I got that referral. We just bought a house, and learned that its tankless water heater was a ticking time bomb. It was made by a company with a not-so-eternal lifespan, making parts for it hard to find when it would break again. It needed to go.

Jamie came over to look at the current installation and assess the situation. He recommended a Rinnai tankless water heater with a built-in recirculating pump.

We setup an appointment for the installation and their guys came over on time, and did a great job with the installation. We now have hot water on demand, all the time.

I like that this outfit is not a huge company, so when I need to get in touch with them, my email or call or text doesn't go down a black hole, never to be responded to. McCabe is prompt and does what they say they're going to do, when they say they're going to do it.

Just had a guy from McCabe Plumbing come in to fix a kitchen sink leak. It turned out to be a leaky faucet hose. It took the guy a minute to take out the hose. He then went and got a replacement. Installing took less than a minute. The total bill came to 358$. The hourly labor rate is 178$. The part, according to the invoice, cost 91$.

To add insult to injury, the guy who came did not remove his shoes or wear protective plastic on his shoes. Left dirty footprints in the floor for me to clean.

Do not call these guys unless you want to experience price gouging.

McCabe plumbing has been super helpful over a period of years. Just yesterday they cleaned out a sudden and complete blockage in a our home's main sewer link to the city, not an easy job. First they had to confirm diagnosis, figure out where the sewer went and how to get access, then work at it until successful (this in a house where this plumbing is 90 years old). In addition, they responded in a very short time. As always, the guys showed up as promised, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. Use again? Of course!

A handyman stripped our main water valve outside the house and wasn't able to fix it leaving us without water. It was the end of the day and all of the local places I called were fixated on charging after hour rates. J McCabe Plumbing came over within 10 minutes to help and didn't even charge us. Follow up work was completed as scheduled without issue and everything was good. Recommend.

Was getting ready to go out of town and sure enough kitchen sink springs a leak. I am on the phone with a friend who has moved out of the area but recommends McCabe Plumbing and quickly texts me their number. I call, leave a message and get a call back in less than 20 mins. Owner quickly asks me a few questions, understand my time concerns and asks if I would be home within the next 30 mins. I say yes, his guy Don is here within 30 mins. We go over what's going on, he quickly explains what I can and cannot do moving forward with my current piping setup. He fixed my leak, installed some new piping and showed me some issues with current piping structure but stuff I could live with till it was time to remodel. I am happy and relieved that my plumbing will be safe and sound while I am out of town

We had our toilet back up into the bathtub, what a mess. I called a few places and one would not do it for under $500, another did not show up. We called J McCabe Plumbing and they were out as quick as possible, and fixed the problem for a lot less then $500. They were courteous and quickly did the job. It was years ago I used this plumber but the memory still stings. When asked about charges I was told $200 yet when the bill came it was over $800. I was stunned. Like one reviewer said, RUN, Run in the opposite direction as fast as possible. He is a crook. Also, unable to find any evidence he is licensed. An expensive learning lesson for me. And as you can see this is my only review. Ever!~

I've worked with perhaps a dozen plumbers as a homeowner. All of them were professional and did a decent job, aside from a few minor issues. I write this 5 star review because Jamie and team were exemplary. We had a pipe from the curb burst and were without water. Jamie and his assistant showed up in a matter of hours and gave us an estimate. Several other plumbers either blew us off or told us we would have to hire someone first to locate the broken pipe so they could do an in the ground repair, which would be costly as the iron pipe ran under our driveway. Jamie gave us a recommendation and estimate after measuring the extent of a replacement pipe, which was a much lower cost option. His team all had positive attitudes and worked hard. They showed up first thing the next AM with everything they needed to fix the job in a few hours. Our water was back on much sooner and the bill was much less than anticipated. Jamie was recommended to us by a neighbor who had hired Jamie based on another referral. FIVE STARS!!!!
