At least for us, Alex Whisler with JMS Express Plumbing in Woodland Hills was an expert in replacing and installing new toilets in several bathrooms. I would recommend their plumbing company to everyone, and will only be calling them the next time we have problems in the house!

I have had work done however found it very hard to get an invoice of the work done ... only my credit card charge ... also feel the price is very high ... plumber that came out said the charge is 175 per hr on the clock then once finding the problem it would be off the clock and a charge for the repair... which was totally outrageous... was gone for about 2hrs for the parts needed.. said he would give me a 100 off ... big deal ... the office told me when I made that appointment it's a service charge that would go towards the repair ... where's the deal ... also they do not give any kind of discounts... you are at their mercy and trust them... I have been trying over a week to get a repair invoice ... the office girl says she'll contact the plumber and then another time said she's working on it and will email it .... what's the hold up?? This was a very expensive lesson which I will never contact then again ...

JMS came to the house to fix a tub faucet. I was told that a screw was missing, that JMS would order it and that it costs $3. Without that screw, the faucet does not work. I asked that the screw be mailed to my house because JMS said it was easy to screw in. Cost of the JMS visit was $120. Two weeks later, after asking repeatedly, I heard that it would cost almost $100 for JMS to order the screw and come out to install it, and, no, mailing it to me wasn't an option. In addition JMS billed my credit card far more than the quoted price, which they said was in error - that was fixed after more errors and much back and forth.

I called JMS and they sent over Kyndl Wallace within two hours. In much of the house, we still have original plumbing from 1929. We have had a lot of bad experience with plumbers either not doing a good job or over-charging us. Let's face it -- we don't know much about plumbing so when someone tells us we need something, we have to trust they're telling the truth. Kyndl went over everything very thoroughly and because we were willing to fix both problems at once -- gave us a very reasonable price for the work. This afternoon, he came back with two excellent workers, Alan and Enrique, who did exactly what they said they were going to do. They brought a really good quality toilet -- installed it, cleaned up, did as little damage as possible to the wall they needed to break through to fix the shower. Though there were some extra costs they did not expect -- additional parts that needed replacing -- they did not ask for one extra penny. If I could have Kyndl over here to fix the rest of my house -- I would. He's knowledgeable, personable and trustworthy -- I could not recommend JMS and their workers enough.
