I hate writing a bad review on this company because they seem like good people but words of advise for anyone needing plumbing work done, get their estimate in writing prior to having work done. I had Joel out to give me an estimate, he called me the next day and said the job would be $2500 unless they ran into problems and it might go to $3500. I had them do the work, it went as scheduled, no problems. Joel then gives me a $3500 bill. I said to him why is it a $1000 higher then your estimate because you had no problems and I even told them I would do the clean up, which was a lot of shoveling. He said well we had some hand digging. That hand digging was about 10ft and about 1ft deep. I said that cost an additional $1000? He knew he had price gouged me. Words of advise, GET IT IN WRITING before you hire them!!!

Jeff at J & M Rooter came out to my mothers house saying he ""fixed"" a link when all he did was replace a hose that had nothing to do with a leak. He even saw water under the house and did nothing to fix it lying to my mother who could never go under there and told her it was fixed charging her a good amount. She tried calling, leaving messages and was told he had bigger jobs to do and would not fix it. SHe called another plumber Carl from Carl Spencer discount plumbing and he came out, told her it was an OBVIOUS leak of water shooting out of a hose to the hot water heater but it was a tight space to work in, but he did the job completely and showed her the shut off valve that was leaking too and fixed it. My mother does not have the money to be paying 2 plumbers and being a military family I am not in town to help her, the best I can do is warn you DO NOT USE J & M Rooter. All they had to do was say they don't have the time or skill to climb under a house and be done with it, not lie and fix a tubing for $150 that was not the problem.

I would not recommend these plumbers unless all of your work is outside. We had a leaking shower. They cut a 16"" x 21"" hole in our bedroom wall admitted to their mistake and expected us to pay another contractor to fix their mistake. Shame on you for taking advantage of us! - Leslie Muskogee, OK
