I give the highest marks to Jesus for helping diagnose my plumbing issue with a phone consultation. He responded the morning after I posted my inquiry the night before on Yelp with the offer of a chat. It was not an offer to just have a conversation or to lead to a repair trip or something else. He was genuinely there to listen to my describing the issue and offer concrete help. He was honest and straightforward. Nothing else. He told me what to do and held nothing back. He was also following up with me on my DIY progress. He gave me so much confidence that I felt very relieved because there was a professional by my side. The issue had been bothering me for many days. He imparted so much goodwill that I saved his contact in my phone so he will be the first one I reach out for any future plumbing needs. I felt that I need to pay him something as a token of appreciation for his advice and goodwill. This review is the least I could do right now. I think that everyone when having to deal with issues is extremely cautious and looks for (and unfortunately often not finding) honesty, trustworthiness, and fairness. So when we occasionally come across it, we ought to encourage, compensate, and reward those who ""freely"" dispense it because that is what they are, such that every experience is an excellent one for everyone involved.

So I contacted J& M on Sunday to figure out why my water was not working. Jesus reached out to me quickly and said he can get out there within 1 hour which was a blessing as the house is an Airbnb and we had guests needing water. His quote was $100 plus any repairs. A guy other than Jesus shows up on time and was very professional. He checked the meter and other stuff looking for leaks or what ever. He was there for 10 minutes and found the main valve was closed for some reason. No repairs needed, great news.

The bad news. He charged $250. I asked what the $100 was for and he said to show up. The diagnostic and said repair was $250.

I just felt that was smoke & mirror and felt taken advantage of. I just wanted to share so no one else gets caught up in the bait & switch they practice.

Contacted them thru Yelp and came within the hour on a Sunday afternoon. The job wasn't an emergency but it's nice to just take care of it. Jesus quoted me a low price and I'm sure most of the cost is related to labor and just coming out, I get that. But talk about an easy process and a non leaking sink... would recommend.

I had a good first impression from Mike, who came on a Sunday for a free estimate of the work; then offered first a highly priced fix, then returned with half the cost if I put down half right then to reserve the appointment. On the day for service, two different men showed up, one extremely young, and they were mistaken on the service needed. They also would not turn off the water; so they left to return the next day. Upon calling Mike, he informed me that they were not going to be liable for turning off the water; the low cost did not include this service. He also said the work men spoke with a condo ""manager"" who told them they could not touch the boiler. I informed Mike that there is no manager onsite; and that they were misinformed. Licensed plumbers have no problem doing this before starting repair work. Additionally, and most importantly, I told him that my daughter was uncomfortable with the men that arrived -- they seemed confused, unorganized and unprofessional; and I did not want them returning. He said I would not get my deposit back. I would NOT recommend them.

He was very responsive to the calls and text messages up to the appointment day. We confirmed the appointment the days before it. He did not showed up and didn't answer any messages or calls after he missed the appointment. Very disappointed.

Same day service, affordable and very knowledgeable. Jesus explained to me what was wrong with the current parts for my kitchen sink and what parts I needed. He was able to get the job done quickly and his prices were very reasonable. I recommend calling him to come out.

Discovered my house's thermocouple wasn't working anymore and 2 hours later, Jesus came to our house and fixed it right away for us, it cost $150 and that included parts and labor.

Had a sink that was clogged with a lot of grease around the piping so Jesus came out to inspect the issue and provide a quote. The pipe needed a hydrojet to clean it, but Jesus was able to do it at a great cost and very quickly. Definitely recommended.
