My house has 5 bathrooms, and on Sunday night 2 of the bathrooms started to back up and one of the shower stalls started to flood. It was quite a disaster. My wife looked up JJ Rooter and Plumbing on Yelp and I immediately called because they had great reviews. Jorge promptly drove up on Monday morning with his assistant, Francisco. He diagnosed the problem as being a blocked main sewer line. It turned out to be a really big job. He had all the necessary equipment and electronic devices in his van and located the main line 8 feet deep. It took the 2 of them over 10 hours to fix the problem, digging 8 feet into the clay dirt to install a clean out. They worked non-stop until around 10 PM to finish the job. They were very professional, polite and hard-working. Jorge checked all the other pipes under the house to make sure there were no other problems and left the premises totally clean. I totally recommend them!

Our office toilet was clogged, and got the approval to find a plumber and found JJ Rooter and plumbing. I called them up and spoke to Jorge and ask him for a quote and if he can come to the office today. He gave me a reasonable quote and promptly texted me that he was on the way to our office. I showed him the toilet a told him the problem. He tried to open the main line from outside but he it was hard to open, So I ask to try snaking it from the inside. Jorge did a good job and he said there's a lot of roots along the line. He suggested if it happens again after a couple of months, he need to put a camera and open from the outside. He gave us 30 days guarantee which is great and he did not left a mess in the toilet. It was clean. If you ever want a good plumber. Give them a call.

I had a problem with the earthquake valve on my gas line and called JJ Rooter. Jorge picked up and was able to come out the same day to take a look. He helped diagnose the problem and came back the next morning with the right part and fixed it. He was prompt, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable not only about the plumbing issues but with how to deal with pg&e. Highly recommended.

My house and it's plumbing is 100 years old. Jorge was referred by a handyman in my neighborhood two years ago.
Jorge immediately identified my plumbing problem and fixed it. Yesterday I needed my sewer pipe rooter-ed and Jorge found time in his busy schedule to take care of my problem. Jorge is terrific. He has now done two jobs at my house---snaking my bathtub drain a few months ago, and today cleaning my kitchen drain, which had been flowing slowly. Great, fast service from Jorge. He was easy to contact and he completed a job in a Berkeley condo without me being on site. He was there when he said he was going to be and he was efficient, which made it easy for me to coordinate him with the condo manager and the tenants!
