i really want to recommend JEBrown and all their associates and employees for the excellent service. I have an unusual heating system and they seem to be the only company who can work with it. I have twice had to call on them to repair issues and both times they have been prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I had no heat this time and a technician was able to come out to me within three days, was on time, very courteous, and solved the problem in less than half an hour. Thanks so much to all in this company and especially to Dave who saved the day today. Very much appreciated.

They have consistently been professional and effective in their work, which has included the complete replacement of an ancient boiler and water heating system as well as doing the required annual inspections and anti-rust treatments to the steam piping.

Just had one of the most unpleasant experiences with one of the drivers that works for this company. I was taking a right turn (at a red light) and did not notice a car coming. The driver clearly thought that I was attempting to cut them off as he buzzed by me, and aggressively swerved right in front of me while yelling at my car. He almost hit my car/ran me off the road in a residential part of sf. I followed him to see where he works as I noted that he was in a worker's van with writing on the side if it. He noticed me tailing him, slammed on the breaks, exited his car and screamed at me at the top of his lungs (to be clear he screamed his company's phone number at me! Made it all the easier to call his supervisor asap, thanks!). Cannot say that I will ever hire a company that employs people with rage issues. Cannot imagine how this guy deals with customers on a daily basis. I suggest that anybody who reads this else takes their business elsewhere as the employees here are clearly unprofessional and do not respect the fact that they are driving a car that is a moving billboard! Such a shame that this employee is so angry and vindictive...maybe they do good work! Get help, mental health is important!

Admittedly, I as a customer don't know anything about boilers, and calling J E Brown was the most unhelpful experience I've ever had. The receptionist wouldn't tell me when a tech is available to come for an inspection and estimate for fixing or replacing my boiler...only that there were no open appointments soon. She stated that I should see what manufacturer the boiler is because not all companies work with all boiler types (this makes sense).

Hoping to save everyone's time, I asked if she knew what kinds of boilers they work with, she said: ""me personally, none"". I then asked her if she knew what kind of boilers her COMPANY worked with, with a response of ""No I don't"". I then asked her if she had any way to find out, with response of ""No I don't"". I don't think this lady is in the business of turning down business but it sure doesn't seem like she wants my business. I will not be using this company now or in the future.

In the last six months I've had some things on my boiler that have needed to be repaired and they have been fast, efficient, and customer service is polite and great with giving me information on what the repairs were.
