Poor expertise and customer service. Misdiagnosed a simple drain clog with a major main sewer line block. Recommended $2k job for repairs since I didn't have a clean out line installed. I called another plumber for a second opinion and they snaked the line in less than an hour! The customer interaction with my JDrains plumber was horrible. Very condescending and rude! I wish I would have asked him to leave sooner!

Extremely disappointed with J Drains customer service. I called them out for a blocked shower drain and was told a tech would be at our home at 9am. Over an hour past 9, no one had showed. I called their main line and spoke to the receptionist who informed me the tech's previous job had run over and we could expect him within the next 45 minutes. TWO MORE hours passed and still no tech. Needless to say, we called another company and had the problem fixed later that afternoon. I value my time and did not have all day to wait on a plumber that never showed or bothered to call. Save your time and call someone else.

I'm not sure how to rate their plumbing service but here's my experience dealing with them... 2:30 on a Sunday my kitchen sink backs up then starts to cause a flood in the garage (washer dryer) when the washer isn't even running. Call numerous places no answer. J Drains answers on the first ring and says they can have someone out within the hour... great. I ask how much and the lady responds (after a long pause) $265.50 -GULP. I said fine as I had no other apparent option and my understanding is Roto Rooter is upwards of $300. So...
2:47pm arrange for service
2:57 see that water in sink has drained and sink is taking small amounts of water without backing up. Decision -save a little $$ and reschedule plumber for Monday when it's not so expensive.
3:03 call J Drains back to cancel, no answer, leave message to cancel.
3:05 call J Drains again to make sure they've cancelled -no answer
3:06 call again no answer
3:07 call cell phone of owner (# from website) leave message
3:09 call J Drains again (mind you I am calling their 24 hour number) no answer
3:14 last attempt to reach someone... answering machine says mail box full -Seriously?
between 3:05 and 3:15 have friends and family call them from other #'s incase they are ignoring my # which seems ridiculous but who knows... they all report no answer.
4:15pm now someone from JDrains shows up and says they never received a call. I apologetically inform them that I TRIED multiple times to reach someone. Very uncomfortable exchange.
Very unprofessional and nerve racking experience. No comment on their actual plumbing service but scheduling was no bueno.

I called JDrains on a Sunday evening to get emergency service for a clogged sewage pipe. They responded immediately despite the fact that it was Sunday at 8pm. Jason and his crew assessed the situation quickly and took care of the blockage. Jason continued to work with me on assessing the overall condition of the pipe for the next couple of days. He came back 2 more times to run cameras and determine the exact location at no additional charge. After a thorough review he came to the conclusion that no further work is required at this point. That's what I call honest and professional service!

Jason came to fix my kitchen faucet disaster last night. He stopped the leaking, clearly explained why the leak was happening and how to fix it. Unfortunately before he came, I was in do-it-yourself mode and broke my current faucet trying to replace a part to stop the slow leak. No more of that! Jason will be putting in my new faucet this week. No more DIY plumbing for me! Jason is great! He was accommodating, easy to talk to, and super friendly. I highly recommend him and will be calling him for my future plumbing needs.

Yesterday I broke my water main going into my house with a ditch witch. (Dammit)
I called around to 4 different ""24/7"" plumbers who all had an excuse to not be available. The owner of Jdrains picked up the phone and squeezed me in at 9:45 at night. First off there is nothing worse than fixing underground plumbing at night, but Jason worked his ass off to get the job done. He even had to disassemble & reassemble a faulty San Jose water company meter to get my system up and running.
The company has recently gone under some restructuring for the better, so any bad reviews previously should now be corrected.
Thanks Jason for the great work.

Jason showed up to my house at 7pm at night when I had a major water pressure loss in the house. He spent a couple minutes looking at the problem and was able to recover the pressure. The problem wasn't fixed however we came up with a game plan on how to resolve the issue permanently at a later time due to the evening working constraints. He didn't even charge me for the visit. Great service, this is how every contractor should be. THANK YOU!

Jason and his team of guys came out the same day to address roots in our sewer line and install a clean out. Even though another plumber I hired the previous week told me he reviewed the line w/the camera all the way to the city tie in and that it was clear, Jason showed me it wasn't. He and his crew did a removal of a large overgrown bush that was the size of a tree, installed a clean out and pulled the city permit to do install the new sleeve in the sewer line and another clean out near the city tie in. City came and inspected his work and approved it. His crew was very professional and neat. We will definitely use him as our regular plumber from now on.

We called J Drains this morning after having a lateral drain to one of our bathrooms become clogged the previous night. We were given an estimate over the phone and were told that a technician would be arriving in the next couple of hours. In less than an hour we had a knock at the door and J Drains proceeded to get to work snaking our drain. Both of the technicians were very likeable and professional, and got the blockage cleared in no time. It's a pleasure doing business with a company that not only does what it says it will do, but does it quickly and professionally for a reasonable charge. Thank you...!!!

They are very friendly and professional. They were at my place around 9pm to fix my tiny problems. I really appreciate their help and will seek for their help again whenever it's needed.
