First time using J & D Plumbing. They were recommended by a friend. We have always been nervous about hiring service techs to come out for fear of being taken advantage of, overcharged, etc. Paying ""premium for a job done right"" is great if you have the money to live like that. We don't.

We had no hot water pressure in the shower only. I've been taking increasingly horrible showers for months ;(

Deanna was responsive in getting back to us and scheduling someone next day (as it was not an emergency). Steve came in, replaced the valve, a bunch of rust and sediment came out and we were good to go. They charge by the hour and the price was reasonable.

Thank you Steve!! I had the best shower I've had in years. Water pressure is amazing.

I can't say enough how much I appreciate Robert from J&D plumbing!

The short version of my story is that I had a clogged shower and called Rooter Hero to unclog it. The person they sent was extremely unprofessional and I pretty much helped unclog my own drain. The tech then offered to camera my house for free since they were having a ""special."" We bought the house seven years ago and it was built in the 50's so I agreed as I was curious the condition of everything. Another technician ""the team lead"" came to our home.

After using the camera, I was told the house sewer pipes were some of the worst that he had ever seen and I was given a $25,000 quote and was told the work needed to be done immediately. Talk about a night of lost sleep.

Enter J&D Plumbing. I called the next day and made an appointment after talking with Robert extensively. He came out, ran the camera through all of my sewers and guess what, THERE WAS NO PROBLEMS!!!

Rooter Hero tried to screw me!!!!

After all was said and done, we are going to have our pipes cleaned just because there is 70 years worth of junk on them and I'm all about maintenance.

This morning walking into work here at A Checkered Towing both restrooms where clogged up of course my employees tried there best to unclog them there self but we had no luck... I called J&D Plumbing and right away a plumber was dispatched by the name of Kory he arrived with inn 30 mins he was really polite I was surprised and couldn't believe he was here so fast not only did he arrive so fast he also got the job done quickly explained to me what possible could of happen since nothing was pulled up and how to prevent this problem from happening again now were back in business thank you again Kory & J&D plumbing you all did another outstanding job for us :) we appreciate you all!!

Kitchen sink faucet had slow flow. Called / made appointment and they called me 30 minutes before arriving, were on time.. Kory was professional, great communication and explained what he saw as he was isolating the problem.. answered questions freely and provided directions for other things in future if needed.

J&d has been a vital part of our property management here in Long Beach for the past 8 yrs. they are always quick to respond to plumbing problems in the 3 old homes that we manage. They schedule appointments with tenants and the plumbers that come out are always nice and efficient . They have handles small jobs as well as very large jobs and we have never had any problems! Korey from J & D Plumbing was very thorough in trying to resolve my gas blockage to my dryer. Of course I had to have one of those type of blockage that was rarely encountered, couldn't hit those odds if I played the lottery, but I didn't need to win a lottery to have my issue resolved.
