I have had J & D work on my old floor heater the past few years. So when I had a questionable experience with my regular plumber, I asked them for a second opinion. They found the real issue and it was not a $20k fix like the other guys said. Not even close. Also turns out the real problem was something my previous plumber ""fixed"" 3 years ago. So glad I found J & D Plumbing & Heating prior to this situation. I knew they would be a reliable second opinion. Now they will be my first opinion moving forward!

I called J &D because my wall furnace wouldn't stay on when I tried using it. Right off the bat they wanted to charge 195$ for basic servicing and cleaning of the furnace. I didn't want that done, but that's the only way they'll come out.

As the technician was working on the furnace he found a leak (it wasn't leaking before) and said that he needed to replace a fitting. He proceeded to replace the fitting and he was done around 1pm.

He went to his truck and sat there for another 10 minutes until he finally came back with the invoice. The new price had gone up to over 300$ He charged for 2 hours of labor even though the job was completed in 1.5 hours. I said to myself alright whatever that's your payment and your tip.

Me and my wife thought our furnace was finally fixed but NOPE! Turns out it's still leaking gas and these people want another 140$ to come fix a leak they caused!! Our house could have caught on fire or our dogs could have passed out from the smell. Very unprofessional. Buyer beware. Watch your wallets! And your houses!

Steve is the man! Bob is also the man! These technicians wouldn't stop until they found this very small gas leak under our house. Their troubleshooting is backed by sound logic and experience. These guys will do right by you and your house. Hire these studs for any of your plumbing needs!
