I wanted to revamp my kitchen and guest bathroom I found JD through yelp gave him a call in which he responded to promptly. We spoke a bit on the phone I explained to him what my visions were all while taking pics and sending it to him as we were talking. He gave me some suggestions and talked about his past jobs, I liked that he was enthusiastic about this project and had a lot of knowledge with the style I wanted. He came over the next day to see everything in person. We talked a bit about pricing until we found a happy medium for the both of us and from there JD took over. He did everything in a flash! Sometimes with contractors they end up being very slow and trying to juggle multiple clients at the same time, I didn't feel this with JD. I recommend calling JD and just talking to him if you are looking for a contractor.

I am definitely fan of JD Construction. I had them replace the aging siding on my 50 year old home. They did a wonderful job and did it in a reasonable amount of time considering the recent bout of rain that the Bay Area had. The pricing was excellent and JD was always there to answer my questions. JD is very good at interpreting complex blueprints and coming up with an ideal plan for implementation.

We hired JD to renovate an existing attic to convert it to a master bedroom suite. The project involved expanding and increasing the roof line which required installing multiple steel beams to address earthquake safety.

The house is nearly 90 years old with half level stories, making this project very complicated. During the project JD identified several mistakes made by the structural engineered and worked proactively to get them resolved.

JD is accountable, fair and honest. I would definitely use him again.
