The Bauer team was available, willing to help, and highly competent during my two separate interactions. We had a water heater installed - along with updated piping and shutoff valves - for a very reasonable price. In addition, Jimmy worked to ensure he was able to locate a tank that fit in our tight hallway closet while adhering to proper safety protocols. We were impressed enough with the team's work that we used them again for a hose installation in the front of our home recently. Jimmy also provided straight-forward advice...when something was not worth doing or the route we had chosen had been insufficient, he walked you through the options and pros/cons to enable you to make an informed decision. Overall, they are extremely courteous and highly capable as well as responsive - a combination that can be hard to find in a service industry. We highly recommend Jimmy and the team's work and hope to use them again should we ever need additional service.

I have been using the family-owned Bauer plumbing company for several years and am consistently impressed with their competency, honesty, dependability, and record keeping. It is also appreciated that they answer my questions and provide explanations that are easy to understand but never in a way or tone that is patronizing.

It gives me great peace of mind that I can count on them for routine and emergency calls. Am grateful to the neighbors who recommended them years ago and for these same reasons.

Really really tried to get them to come out to check out a leaky shower, but they couldn't get their act together. I've heard Joe is a great plumber, but he cancelled an appointment last minute and then never responded to calls. Lyn, who is super nice office manager, never followed through.

Great service, great staff. Lynn is the office manager, and is professional and friendly when you call, and doesn't rush you when you are explaining your problem. Joe Bauer, the owner, will call you and talk to you and give you his professional opinion if you are unsure a plumber is what you need. Jimmy, the plumber who has come to my house very often over the years, is wonderful, knowledgeable, and ALWAYS prompt. He also cleans up thoroughly after his job is done. I HIGHLY recommend this company. They do great work!

Highly disappointed in the customer service. I scheduled an appointment yesterday for today with a 2 hour window. Lynn was very nice booking the appointment and her professionalism gave me an assurance that one of the two men that possibly would be working with me would have the job done quickly and professionally. Well, the plumber called me 30 minutes after the 2 hour window. He asked if I still needed him to come by and take a look at the job. I said ""What happened today? You were suppose to be here between 2 and 4pm."" Not upset, just honest. He said, ""Well we got caught up on a job."" I said, ""I understand, but you could have called the customer to let me know what was going on."" Once again, not upset, just honest. He then chuckled and said ""Really."" Wow! I was pretty shocked. I mean, do you think I would want to give you my money after you act that way. Anyway, I said, ""You think that is funny?"" He then began to go off on a rant which I was not about to listen to, so I quickly said "" Goodbye Sir,"" and hung up the phone. I will not give business to someone that unprofessional, let alone, want him in my home. I don't know what is going on in his life, or what his day was like, and I'm not judging his heart. People can have a bad day. But this is business, and unfortunately, I have nothing else to judge this business by but by this encounter.

I booked with Joe Bauer because of all the great yelp reviews. After confirming my spot a couple of days earlier (and night before) for a new water heater installation (and sending all the photos and measurements that I was asked for)-Joe Bauer called the morning of my appt to cancel!! He said he didn't know about it. When I called back later to tell the nice receptionist what happened she said ""he freaked out"" when he saw the old water heater. How unprofessional. At the very least an apology was in order, since I had taken off work and because it's the decent thing to do as a business owner. I ended up paying another company more because they installed the same day. Won't ever use this company.

They're awesome. We needed to have our garbage disposal fixed on fairly short notice, and Bauer came recommended by one of our friends. Their prices, as far as I could tell, are average for the work that's being done ($395 for a new garbage disposal + installation), and they were the ONLY company who both got back to me and were willing to give me a price estimate without sending a service tech. We'll definitely use them again if we need plumbing work.
