We had a broken pipe that was hidden. Josh investigated and determined the best way to go at it was from the downstairs ceiling. He made one cut in the dry wall and was right underneath it. Had us back up in no time when we were on a one week plus waiting list everywhere else. Highly recommended.

Sorry Josh for the late review but I finally have some time to write this!

Josh is very professional and punctual. He is very careful in inspecting the type of dryer vent that we have before doing anything. He rather changed the whole vent than doing the cleaning without caring about the consequences. Overall, this is a 5***** experience! I would strongly recommend Josh to anyone out there having problems with the dryer vent. He went out of his way to help us so that we can have the dryer working before the Lunar New Year! I've never encountered an issue with a unit's air duct because I've always lived in complexes that were well managed and upkept. However, we had the misfortune of moving into a condo that has not been really shown too much TLC, so we've been encountering a lot of issues, one of which was our dryer air duct being clogged. It became more and more of an issue, since it took 4-5 cycles to dryer a small load of clothes. This is when I contacted JB1 HVAC, Plumbing, & More. Josh had the most competitive price, and was very communicative throughout the whole process. We made an appointment for the next day, and Josh showed up promptly at 9AM to help us resolve the clogged air duct. Because I was curious about the whole process and wanted to see what was clogged in the pipes, I just talked to Josh as he did his thing. He taught me a lot about what the issue was, what he was doing, and other potential factors that would have contributed to this fiasco.

After about an hour, the dryer air duct was finally unclogged. Josh explained very clearly what I should look out for in the future should I suspect anything wrong with the air duct. And he even provided advice and a fix that we should modify our ducting since it was unnecessarily long and could contribute to the pile up of lint. Payment was handled easily since Josh simply emails you an invoice in which you can pay via credit card online.

Overall, the whole experience was a great learning experience, and Josh was professional, communicative, and courteous. I would definitely recommend him in the future.

Air Duct Cleaning
Josh and Joe arrived on time and were very personable. They cleaned out the dryer duct that was quite dirty. Though it took a bit longer than usual they stood by their original estimate. They cleaned up after themselves and even cleaned the dirt that had accumulated around the dryer that wasn't their doing. I can see why they received all the 5* reviews. Would give an unconditional recommendation and would have them back for any other similar work needed in a heartbeat.

Josh came 10min early to my 9a appt to clean my dryer vent. Before starting anything, Josh have me a quick education on my dryer vs other dryer vents. The education on what I had and the pros and cons of it settled my spirit! I knew my dryer vent situation was atypical and yet he kept his word and charged me the flat fee he provided in my quote request through Yelp! In and out in 30min! Josh was thorough, presented professional, openly shared information, and again he not only arrived in time, he arrived early. I already secured my next appt to have Josh clean my furnace and replace my dryer vent to better mitigate fires and other problems caused by a clogged dryer vent! A1 service. And btw, he's up on technology as he never touched my credit card. Instead, he sent me an invoice on the spot via email where I loaded my credit card information and paid my invoice. No paper. And my privacy was managed. Thumbs up all the way around!
