everything went great. my old hot-water tank had developed a leak. i called joe and he was out there within the hour. he did a temporary seal and suggested i go tankless. they ordered the heater - within a week, he was back out and the job (which included rerouting some plumbing/gas lines) was done that day the did a great job and i absolutely LOVE IT!! i notice a small (around 15 dollars) savings per month on electric and around a 10% (per year) savings on propane. he had suggested a water softener (due to my now having the tankless heater) - i looked into it and called him back 3 months later to put one in. again, he was there to do it within a week and was done in 1 day. the water softener was a shock to me - i couldn't believe how BETTER life was with one....... i wish i had gotten one years earlier! thanks joe!

If I could give a higher review, I would. Joe and his crew are a definite 10!

We were not the easiest people to work with due to illness & the holidays. My son was in & out of the hospital. Even when he could not contact us by phone, he would go to my son's house & knock on the door or send his workers to knock on the door. He did extensive repairs on my son's 100 plus year old house. Joe told me what needed to be done & how much it would cost, ONCE. There were no price changes or games after the work started.

Joe and the men who work for him are all EXCELLENT! They show up ASAP and take the time to do the job right. If you are looking for an honest person who is serious about solving your plumbing issues, Joe is your man.

I contacted J. Benzie Plumbing for an emergency at my home and they were prompt, that day, and emergency solved. No surprises and they were re-assuring and trustworthy. We hired them to do additional work on our bathroom. Their knowledge and experience were wonderful and their estimate right-on target. We are on a fixed income and in a 100-year-old house, so our plumbing problems naturally started around 1950 -- but the Benzie guys knew how to bring things up-to-date -- our plumbing problems are a thing of the past! I called Joe at 8am on a Monday. He came out to diagnose the issue on my hot water heater within a couple of hours. He gave me a couple of honest, fair options and also pointed out that my pressure relief valve on the main water line to the house would need replaced soon. Once I made my decision on the unit, he immediately went to pick it up. While he was picking up the tank, his crew was already here working on the pressure release valve and removing the old tank. The entire job was done by early afternoon! For him mentioning that he had a full plate today, I am very impressed at how quickly the job was completed!

I am very pleased with the amount of honesty, professionalism and speed of J Benzie Plumbing! I will certainly use them in the future for any plumbing needs!

After contracting Joe Benzie scum bunny to do nearly $6000 worth of work in our bathroom he treated us like and actually called us white trash. When I contacted him about an issue we were having with the drawer in our vanity sticking pretty badly he began yelling at me using profanity and said he didn't like me and refused to deal with me anymore. Two of his employees picked up our vanity and we were told we would be receiving a new one two days later installed by his company. After a week I asked him when he was going to at least return the sink we had paid for that they had in their possession and this is the condition they returned it in! As if that's not bad enough they left it outside on our porch never notified us they were coming never knocked on the door. Steer clear of this company as Joe Benzie definitely has

We had an outside water line break. I called J. Benzie on Thursday afternoon and they were at my house within 15 minutes to determine where the break was located. They gave me an estimate and were here the next morning to start the repair. It was a difficult job as they had to use shovels to get to the water line.They finished the job that day. They were polite and professional, and very easy to deal with. They will be the first ones I call if I need plumbing work in the future.
