In Sept. 2022 I had a larger filter on my irrigation system that needed replacing. The service technician came out and agreed it needed replacing. He left and came back with one that was half the size of the old one. I asked why the replacement was so much smaller and he replied, """"the smaller filter would be sufficient"""". They charged me for this filter $275.00, and that did not include labor or the service call! The same exact filter is available for $35.00 at Home Depot. And, because it is half the size, I'm cleaning it more than twice as often as the old one. What a Rip-off!

I have never felt the need to write a review on a company before but our experience with J&S has made me feel obligated to warn others looking for a professional, trust worthy company. Do NOT call on J&S Plumbing. It has taken me several months to write this review because we are still overwhelmed by the terrible experience. The priced they quoted us kept changing, so did their story of why, they rescheduled and no showed countless times, a 5hr job turned into a month and still wasn't complete when we had to part ways due to the so called Owner Steven's belligerent behavior. When he couldn't justify the increase or we questioned the materials used he became very hostile, rude, and began using profanity at my husband. He then proceed to tell my husband the he got his money out of us and didn't need this job and hung up. Hmmm Super Professional Steven! Obviously we called to make sure they knew never come back onto our property. So we where out $1200.00 and had an incomplete job. Lucky, we found a truly professional Company to correct all of J&S Plumbing's mistakes. Be Warned!

Ripped us off. Came for a well job and could not finish due to their incompetence. Said they would be back. Had their phone lady tell us to get someone else. We paid for parts ahead (sadly) they didn't give us. Wish I would have seen these reviews earlier. Scammers for sure.

We will not ever use this company again. The owner is so disrespectful and when he realized he had my husband do something to our ouml that shouldn't have been done, he started arguing with us and hung up on me!!! I was charged 232 dollars for a part that costs $5 at the part store that later we found out we didn't even need. So I wasted money on a part that isn't needed. Again I will never use this company or refer then to anyone!!!

Take it from me, do NOT use this company. Appointments were made then rescheduled at first multiple times. That should have been a hint. Then when they come out, they continuously did the work incorrectly. When we asked for management to get involved, they sent someone else out and all their workers did was bash each other. When they finally came out to correct the areas that they messed up, the owner by the name of Steven called my husband and started yelling and being rude to us. Mind you the work still isn't complete and we were overcharged because now they don't want to come out and fix the rest of their mistakes. This company is ridiculous. It gives small businesses a bad name.

Had a scheduled appointment for a well pump. They called and had to cancel and reschedule. As we awaited our 4pm Saturday appointment, in which we canceled our previous plans, absolutely no call, no show, and no good in my opinion.

From my personal experience with this Company, and therefore my opinion: Unkept service commitments, """"no and slow"""" response time. Rude, bullying, and profane principal. (Threatened to triple charge me because I expected service as committed). Suggest caution with these folks.

I have waited about six months to write this review. I didn't wanna do it out of anger. I would not recommend this company at all. We had them come in they were going to do about $1200 worth of work and wanted half of the front. Without a problem we did that. Before they left for the day they said the boss wanted the rest of the money. I said I'd be happy to pay him the rest when the job is finished. They literally had done about 10 minutes of work and had $600 and there was no way I was giving them the rest. 10 minutes later the boss showed up who is the owner of this company and started screaming at the top of his lungs using the F word and telling all my neighbors that we do not pay our F'n bills. I asked him to stop I asked him to leave he didn't neither I ended up having to call the police before the man would leave. He also tried to initiate a fight between himself and my senior citizen husband. It was just ridiculous. So I paid them $600 for 15 minutes of work and got nothing out of it. He continued to drive around my house for the next couple of hours with his wife at the wheel. The owners are crazy ! Do not use this business!People who have had a good experience have not met the owner or paid way too much. I felt very bad for his employee who I'm sure is no longer there. He kept apologizing for his boss and said he does this all the time. So unprofessional. Save yourself money, time and headache and go somewhere else.

Do not hire this plumbing company. Steve came out and said they could not do anything to assist. He did not even know how sanitary sewer works. After literally 5- 8 minutes of looking around, he recommended to call the county. County came a hour later and said we needed a plumber so we hired a real professional; Rich the Plumber and he helped us out quickly! Don't waste your time on them and just go straight to Rich the Plumber INC. He actually cared to resolve the problem.
