Resecheduled after their scheduled arrival time: Twice Came over without a truck and was unable to do any work: Twice Problems solved: 0 From the start they made excuses about being down a van but that is no excuse for wasting so much of a customer's time, being late, rescheduling last minute, and showing up without tools to do simple jobs when they did arrive. I would have rather had a later date set than waste my time waiting around for him. When someone finally showed up with tools, I was hopeful they would be able to solve the issue but they couldn't. From the start they just figured it would be a simple fix of bleaching the drain and jerked me around by doing random things like putting a filter with large holes on my roof (flies, the original problem, would have no issues bypassing this). After voicing my concerns, got a call from the owner, Steve, where he called me an idiot. They never found the underlying problem and I am going to get a second opinion. Hopefully, someone who will take the problem seriously, who has basic deductive reasoning skills, and plumbing knowledge. I rarely write negative reviews because I value the effort of small businesses but wanted those with problems that require any thought, skill, or timeliness to be aware of this person.

Do not hire this plumbing company. Steve came out and said they could not do anything to assist. He did not even know how sanitary sewer works. After literally 5- 8 minutes of looking around, he recommended to call the county. County came a hour later and said we needed a plumber so we hired a real professional; Rich the Plumber and he helped us out quickly! Don't waste your time on them and just go straight to Rich the Plumber INC. He actually cared to resolve the problem.

Tim was efficient and professional. He quickly assessed my problems with my sprinkler system and took care of it all in record time. I will definitely use J and S Plumbing and Irrigation again.

I put in an inquiry through Angie's list on a Saturday afternoon and within 5 minutes Jessica called to let me know that she could have a technician at the house within a half hour. 15 minutes later Kenny and Cody arrived, performed a quick diagnostic and found that the valve was bad. Kenny explained that he had used his last part during his previous job and the supply stores were closed (late on a Saturday), he advised me that he would turn off the sprinkler at the main, leave me his business card and return on Monday. In the mean time Jessica was able to locate the needed part from another service tech. Kenny left to pick up the new valve, returned and installed the new valve. Kenny and Cody were very courteous, professional and proficient. They cleaned up the work area, tested the new valve and ensured that I was satisfied with the job. I would highly recommend J and S Plumbing and have already scheduled to have them return to perform an inspection on my irrigation system. It is refreshing to deal with a business that is customer driven, courteous and professional.

jessica and tim, thank you from the bottom of my heart. i call in a panic on a sunday!!!!!! afternoon they call right back walk me thru getting the water shut off then just as promise monday afternoon tim diagnosed the problem charge me a flat fee and my sprinkler problem solved.!!!! the kindness and helpfulness is something i haven't experienced in my 20yrs in florida!!! i have a new slogan for you guys j and s installs the best and fixes the rest!!!!! bless you both!!!

I have waited about six months to write this review. I didn't wanna do it out of anger. I would not recommend this company at all. We had them come in they were going to do about $1200 worth of work and wanted half of the front. Without a problem we did that. Before they left for the day they said the boss wanted the rest of the money. I said I'd be happy to pay him the rest when the job is finished. They literally had done about 10 minutes of work and had $600 and there was no way I was giving them the rest. 10 minutes later the boss showed up who is the owner of this company and started screaming at the top of his lungs using the F word and telling all my neighbors that we do not pay our F'n bills. I asked him to stop I asked him to leave he didn't neither I ended up having to call the police before the man would leave. He also tried to initiate a fight between himself and my senior citizen husband. It was just ridiculous. So I paid them $600 for 15 minutes of work and got nothing out of it. He continued to drive around my house for the next couple of hours with his wife at the wheel. The owners are crazy ! Do not use this business!People who have had a good experience have not met the owner or paid way too much. I felt very bad for his employee who I'm sure is no longer there. He kept apologizing for his boss and said he does this all the time. So unprofessional. Save yourself money, time and headache and go somewhere else.

I have never felt the need to write a review on a company before but our experience with J&S has made me feel obligated to warn others looking for a professional, trust worthy company. Do NOT call on J&S Plumbing. It has taken me several months to write this review because we are still overwhelmed by the terrible experience. The priced they quoted us kept changing, so did their story of why, they rescheduled and no showed countless times, a 5hr job turned into a month and still wasn't complete when we had to part ways due to the so called Owner Steven's belligerent behavior. When he couldn't justify the increase or we questioned the materials used he became very hostile, rude, and began using profanity at my husband. He then proceed to tell my husband the he got his money out of us and didn't need this job and hung up. Hmmm Super Professional Steven! Obviously we called to make sure they knew never come back onto our property. So we where out $1200.00 and had an incomplete job. Lucky, we found a truly professional Company to correct all of J&S Plumbing's mistakes. Be Warned!

If zero stars were a choice, I would give that. Rescheduled multiple times. When I asked if they could not do the job, they said they were able to. After finally arriving and replacing a control panel, the problem was not fixed and we were charged over 200 dollars.

Take it from me, do NOT use this company. Appointments were made then rescheduled at first multiple times. That should have been a hint. Then when they come out, they continuously did the work incorrectly. When we asked for management to get involved, they sent someone else out and all their workers did was bash each other. When they finally came out to correct the areas that they messed up, the owner by the name of Steven called my husband and started yelling and being rude to us. Mind you the work still isn't complete and we were overcharged because now they don't want to come out and fix the rest of their mistakes. This company is ridiculous. It gives small businesses a bad name.

I wish I could write 5 stars. First appointment on Sunday was a no show but the owner Steven called me that night and apologized , came out Thursday (my next available day) and walked through my system, was told everything was going to be taken care of 110% and made an appt for Tuesday with his tech. Tech arrived Tuesday, nice guy. Walked through my system, told me he was going to get me back to 8 zones because having 12 heads on one zone kills the life of my well. He also informed me that in order to get all zones working correctly he would have to run new wire to the valve box from my timer, replace 4 valves and change a couple of heads. He ensured me he would do a thorough check of all zones , spray heads and rotors upon completion. Got a quote of $975 and he agreed to come 7:30 am the next day (Wednesday) Wednesday comes and he shows up as promised, runs the new wire and Very quickly and rushed checks all zones. He did not get me back to the 8 zones discussed and when I asked why the contradictory answer I got is """"it looks like it has good pressure"""" even though the prior day it was damaging my well and a big deal? He did not do a thorough check of All heads and zones as promised... I still have rotors not turning, pop ups leaking, clogged heads and I requested that the pop ups along my driveway be dug out and made functional as well - he insisted there were no heads there!? I live here, I know I have them..... not to mention he took a bag of miracle gro potting soil my wife had at the back of the house to plant flowers and used 1/2 the bag as backfill dirt for around where he dug out the valve box without asking or saying a word! He was under such pressure to get to the next job I felt bad BUT I feel slighted. I discussed this with him as the job is 80-90% done and he stated he could come back another day (4th visit) so I agreed, paid him and tipped him $50 in good faith. This was 10 days ago, I have heard nothing about a return visit. I was called by mistake on Monday by the office employee Desiree in which I voiced my displeasure with where things stand and she ensured a call back from Steven- I have heard nothing, today I text desiree to follow up- no reply. She has text me multiple times to communicate and confirm prior appointments so I know she uses this method. Right now as I type this there are 3 leaky pop ups, 5 clogged heads, 1 rotor that is not rotating, 1 rotor I requested to be replaced (not done) and I would like the pop ups along my driveway in working order as well as breaking up the zones in my side yard so I have the 8th zone like discussed and promised. I should not have paid until the job was complete 100%. I trusted this company , steven apologized for the initial miss, his tech was knowledgeable and a nice guy but am beyond disappointed on the follow through and the final product of what is being considered complete. I paid $1025 for 2.5 hours work and approximately $175 in materials. You guys could have at least finished this for me. Update: read response from owner.... First review I left was due to the No show in which I deleted when he called me back and re-scheduled. Your tech left at 9:45 when I clearly stated I was available until 11:15. No reason for the rush and leave incomplete work. Your tech got a call from the office and said he had to go to get to the next job! You took the money and did not finish the job. I was told there would be a return trip to finish and you are now refusing to do the job you were paid to complete. I will be filing in hernando county small claims court, I could care less if it costs me more. It's principle at this point. Do not use this company-
