After moving to Arizona 26 years ago, Jon Hopkins established J and H Plumbing. Before moving, he was a commercial and industrial plumber in Utah. He was tired of the frigid winters. Naturally, that’s not a concern in the Valley of the Sun. Helping others has always brought him joy. Since arriving in Arizona, he has worked on numerous large custom homes and school projects, as well as tenant improvements in every mall in the Valley. Jon oversees a dedicated service division that addresses everything from repairing dripping faucets to full home repiping. This division also conducts video inspections, rodding, and sewer line replacements. Their slogan is, ""If water flows through it, we take care of it."" J & H Plumbing is a full-service plumbing company.

We used J&H plumbing to replace water heater. They were fast and efficient. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. They took away old parts and cleaned up area nicely. Would definitely recommend J&H plumbing.
We had a vanity, sink, and faucet installed by J&H in Feb. 2018. The installation was good enough although we did have to call them back to repair a leak.
I had called to ask for a price and was told $115.00/hour plus parts needed. When we received the bill, we were charged $65.00/hour for a ""helper"". Not a plumber or an apprentice, but a helper who was learning on the job. I was not told that on the phone and did not expect the extra $130.00 nor did I expect to be charged for two hours when the time was from 9:39-11:10 (1 1/2 hours) or so. we were also informed that we would be charged an extra 5% if we used a credit card rather than a check. The latter is a minor detail but certainly it would be wise and honest to tell a prospective customer that they would be charged for a 'helper"" and be charged for a minimum of two hours. The plumber, when questioned about the ""helper"" said that he needed someone to help him remove the vanity and sink even though this was part of the job. We had brought in the new sink and vanity and if it had been mentioned, we could have removed the old one ourselves. We were thinking that the job would cost around $300.00 but the total amount was $450.00.
We won't use them again.
My husband and I had J & H Plumbing come out to our house to install a new water heater. When I called to schedule the appointment I talked to Jamie, she went the extra mile to explain in detail our options and the process for our situation with our water heater. The two young men, Adrian and Anthony, that came out to do the job were great! We greatly appreciate the call to inform us they were on the way to our house. They answered all my husbands questions as well. We recommend using J & H Plumbing for plumbing services.
J & H did a great job in re-plumbing our house. They started on time and they completed the project within a few days as promised. The crew that was assigned to our place was professional and meticulous with their work. Jon the owner was great with answering questions and making sure everything was completed as promised. I would highly recommend J & H plumbing.
Linda G.A $110 an hour to fix a leak that took 20min because,"" I live in Ahwatukee.""
Shame on me for assuming fairness. I chose the plumber because he said, ""I live around the corner."" Not to mention the inappropriate comment he made.
I had my garbage disposal, shower, and sink fix. The guys did a good job.... However, the customer service was horrible because:
1. The lady on the phone had no clue how much their garbage disposal was and couldn't give me a quote. (She said the hourly rate was $115)
2. After the job was done, it took about 30 minutes for the guys to write up a receipt.
3. The receipt does not break down cost of labor v.s. materials.
Since my friend recommended J & H and they seem to do a good job, I did not complain. But, I will definitely use a different plummer next time because I want to be able to understand what I am paying for.
awful customer service, they didnt call me back after multiple calls!
BEWARE. PLEASE READ. Horrible experiences with these guys. Dishonest, disrespectful, and overpriced. That WORST part is we are family friends and long time customers. The last three services have been AWFUL. 1. We had our water tested because we were worried about a smell. They never got back to us. I called repeatedly and was promised a call back. It took a whole month. What if the water was unhealthy?! 2. Had a garbage disposal replaced. It constantly backs up and came loose already. It was installed wrong. 3. I had Jesse over to check some pipes before I had tile put in. Long story short, he promise to take good care of us and give us a good price for some bathroom upgrades while we were doing our retile. Long story short, it took THREE AND A HALF MONTHS. Jesse never had appointments with contractors scheduled until I asked. And he would be rude about it every time. Every aspect of the project had to be redone TWICE. THIS IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION. well the project finally finished and the price?? INSANE. $10,000. Let's not forget this guy promised us a good price for our loyalty and I constantly told him I needed this to be an inexpensive project. Absolutely crooked salesmen.
Nick S.DO NOT do business with these people.
I called them out to look at my water softener due to a leak. The tech pulled the valve body off the unit and wrapped the threads in teflon tape. Screwed it back on, it still leaked. When he tried to take it off the whole valve body broke off the threads. I chalked it up to age and said lets get it repaired. He took my whole unit to their ""repair people"" and advised me the job would cost $400 total. A new valve body, and resin. I agreed.
The tech left no receipt, or no contact info of any kind. Fast forward 3 weeks with no calls or updates I dug through my inbound calls and found his number. When I called he advised me the softer was repaired and could be delivered, I expected a call that day to confirm pricing and delivery date. The next day at 7:30am I get a call advising me that the unit could not be repaired because they could not get the broken threads out of the tank.I was advised i should buy a new softer for 900 - 1200 dollars. I requested to speak with a manager. No sense of urgency to my issue, i called them back 4 times before I was able to speak with someone.
When i finally got a hold of a manager I told her on the phone i want it back, and I don't feel they earned their $100 labor charge for ignoring me for 3 weeks, and what I feel was the result of their tech putting the valve body on to tightly causing the threads to be so jammed a repair company could not get them out, and my whole unit is junk. I was happy to pay to have it repaired, but when I'm told its not repairable is where i draw the line. They caused it to not be repairable, end of story.
After an awful phone call with their management where i was advised I would be paying their trip charge or i would not get the equipment back I told them to keep it, because its junk anyhow and i will go to my grave before i pay a company for this kind of service.
So basically at the end of the day all J & H pluming did for me was come to my house and steal my water softener.
DO NOT give them your business.
Some jerk from J & H plumbing came close to rear ending me last Sunday. It was a j & h van on greenfield and 202 I was at a complete stop at a red light then the van comes slamming to a halt swerved and ended up in the other lane. I just got off church and I had my kids In The truck. I rolled my window down and yelled at him. If this is how they drive like maniacs then I wouldn't trust them In my house.
