Jose and his Luis demonstrated work, service, communication, caring during my recovery, very professional upbeat service that is incredibly beyond reproach! Kudos to J&H Plumbing and Rooter (and your local!!! not in some other county so far away). Please make sure Jose especially and Luis receive a huge commendation including any possible reward. Joe is a great guy - knowledgeable, flexible, easy to work with and all with fair prices. Very communicative the whole process through getting some new piping done for a bathroom renovation, and he even found an old leak that I knew was there somewhere but hadn't been able to locate the source of it. I can honestly say I've never had a better experience with a tradesperson of any kind. Even when a small issue came up after the work (my poor choice in toilet hardware was at fault, really, not his work) he came out to fix it before my deadline, despite his conflicts. Will definitely hire him again and recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber, just as he was recommended to me by my friend.

I called J&A for some plumbing work in my bathroom. They came out and said the pipe was fixed. It started leaking again the next morning! Their quality of work is horrible and I won't be calling them to fix anything again! They were also more expensive than the real plumber that fixed it the next day! Don't use them, you will be sorry!

Joe and Jason are simply great. Quick, professional, well priced, and quality work. I would recommend (and have recommended) them without any hesitation whatsoever.

We were putting our condo on the market, and previously were told that in order to fix a non-functioning shower we would have to open up the tiled wall. Because of the can of worms that opens up, we didn't want to do that and were planning on taking our chances with the real estate market.

My sister-in-law referred us to J&A, and, since we didn't have anything to lose, we though we'd give them a call. I called on a weekday afternoon, and less than 24 hours after my initial call Jason was at our condo, had diagnosed the problem, and was working on the special order for the replacement parts. Due to the age and physical structure of the bathroom, it was a really tough job, but everything was like new when they were done, the work was done in a very timely manner, and they did the job without having to tear apart anything in the bathroom!

I was really, really happy with the level and quality of service, and J&A are going to be my go-to for all my future plumbing needs.

Chicago was under attack by the cold. Upon thawing the city is riddled with burst pipes. Unfortunately we were the recipients of such a gift.

FORTUNATELY we called J & A. Joe said his team was swamped but that he'd be able to come himself. He arrived an hour earlier than estimated and was incredible efficient and effective. Turns out the pipe burst in two locations (which we only found out after fixing the first spot). Joe ensured the issue was fixed and was extremely courteous. He cleaned up all of the drywall/insulation mess as well!

I'm really glad we called Joe and would wholeheartedly recommend him and his company to anyone else!

We are currently living in Hawaii, but still own our condo in Chicago. When our tenants called with a plumbing issue, we wanted someone there as quickly as possible. I called a few plumbers with good reviews on yelp and Joe was the first to call me back---now that I think of it, he is the ONLY one that called back! He was very nice and immediately contacted our tenants to set up a time that was convenient for everyone. He did the work and allowed to me to send him the payment through Chase Quickpay since I'm not in town. My tenant said he was polite and professional and she was very pleased with him. So now he's saved in my phone contacts for any future plumbing issues. You won't be disappointed if you use J&A Plumbing!
