Izzy Plumbing just left after fixing, what I considered to be, a difficult plumbing job on old pipes. Pipes from a 2nd floor bathtub were corroded through and leaking into the room below the leak. The ceiling was dripping!

With a call at 9am, Jacob from Izzy Plumbing was scheduled to arrive at 12noon the same day. Help was on the way.

Jacob arrived when scheduled, quickly saw the issue and had the pipes repaired and the leak fixed lickety-split. Jacob from Izzy's has done other work for us and always solves our plumbing problems. He's smart, experienced, and professional.

I have used Izzy Plumbing for clearing drains over the last year. For the most part, their service was good, but overpriced in my opinion. Nonetheless, I continued to use the company.... NOT ANYMORE! I called for a shower stoppage, made an appointment with Izzy for 3:30 to 5:30, as my tenant works. Showed up early (which in most cases is good) but tenant was not home. He was allowed into the unit by a neighbor with tenants permission, and proceed to unclog the bath tub, which did not have an issue. It was the shower stall that was clogged. At no time did the plumber contact me. He left and shower was still clogged. I got an invoice from Izzy for $225. I called Izzy and told him that shower is still clogged and tub was fine to begin with. Izzy told me that I need a new p-trap for the shower. My question was, why didn't the plumber call, and why are you charging for snaking the tub when the tub was fine. I told him i would pay for a trip charge, but he would be losing a customer if he was looking the full amout. His response, we went out, we can't work for free, and you got your tub draining... Very arrogant, very dismissive towards me. I told him that he just lost a customer, and paid his ridiculous charge, because it was pointless to argue. Called a contractor friend who ran the snake with a smaller bit and unclogged the shower......

I called for a quote and sent pictures to replace shower fixtures. He told me it was pretty complicated because it was the original fixtures and would require extensive work to replace. His quote was $995 so I trusted him and booked an appointment. An hour and a half later, it was fixed with an hourly rate of $633+ per hour for just labor. I called to inquire and was told it was a fixed rate and not hourly as they often don't know how long these jobs will take. It was highway robbery and I will not be using them again!

These guys were great! I needed to install a temporaty sink in my kitchen, they did it quickly..then a dishwasher...then a refrigerator hookup....then a troubleshoot of m master bathroom sinks. They were on-time and friendly and were awesome. Use them!

This is the first time I have written a negative review. But , the service was so bad I have to post.
They came out 3 times , told us the issue was fixed, it wasn't. They also left 2 faucets running in parts of our hime that we didn't discover until the next day. When we told them of the issues and our disappointment their reply was "" good luck with that"". Such a rude , disappointing reply. We won't use them again!

I was recommended by a co-worker to use Izzys plumbing service. I am sorry that I did. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have had sewer lines issues to were sewer water would back up into my downstairs bathtub. The son of Izzy's plumbing came out to take a look at the issue and said that I had a flat spot and needed the line replaced. A family member of mine had talked to this guy and had requested to have the pipe replaced and have a back flow plate installed. I had to call them and tell them to install it and reconfirm that he would be here as requested so I could ask for time off. Izzy Plumbing will send you e-mails with very little information on the work they're doing. He ended up trying to charge me 2000 dollars for half asked work. After he installed the sewer pipe, water was seeping up from around the pipe he had dug up and replaced. He did not install the back flow plate and when I asked him why he didn't install the back flow plate he had stated that he thought it didn't need one.. Now he wants to charge me another 500 dollars to dig it back up to install a back flow plate. I have tried to contact the owner and they always say he is out of town. They will not return your calls and give you the run around. I never leave reviews for anything. I feel like I would be doing a disservice if I didn't let people know that Izzy Plumbing will over charge you. Will not do the work as requested and will not complete the job to satisfactory standards. 2000 dollars down the drain. I will be reporting them to BBB and consumer affairs.

As much as I hate spending the going plumber rate, these guys have continued to earn my business over and over again. They can always fix my problems timely and within their quoted price. They take good records of their job and stand by their work. Awesome graphics on their truck too! I recommend them

Many houses on my street have old clay laterals to the sewer which clog up with root build up over time. I've lived in my house for 8 years and the pipe normally needs to be snaked and cleared 1 (maybe 2) times per year.

Depending on who is available at the time, I've worked with a few different plumbers over the years to do this. Each time, the plumber would carefully snake the pipe and spend time to ensure that they couldn't feel the resistance from the roots. For most plumbers that was around 35-45 minutes. The pipe would empty properly and I wouldn't have this problem again for the better part of a year.

Not with Izzy's. My most recent plumber was busy when I needed someone so I gave them a try. That was a mistake.

The plumber was friendly, but he was at my house for only around 15 minutes. He used a battery-powered, backpack-sized snake. which was different from any past plumber who would bring larger units that needed an electrical outlet (more recently I've now spoken with other plumbers who have said they would NOT use that backpack-sized unit for clearing out a main lateral).

I was surprised at how quickly he was done since most other plumbers on past occasions had worked on the issue for longer. I paid the minimum fee (over $220) and thought my problem was over.

Unfortunately, that clearance of the pipe was the absolutely minimal work needed to get it to drain and I was back to having a clogged pipe in less than 1 month. I've never had that problem (nor as far as I can tell most of my neighbors) in 8 years. That was very frustrating and a disappointment.

I left a message for the company on a Saturday, told I'd get a call back and that never happened. So, on the next Monday I called and left another message.

This time I was called by the owner, who then explained how the problem is really the pipe and that I should replace the lateral and was completely unwilling to consider the possibility that his plumber did a sloppy, non-thorough job. Instead, he classified the work as ""efficient"" since his plumber was done in only 15 min.

Unwilling to take any responsibility for the quality of the work, he instead just wanted to pitch selling more services, so I could have a long term solution to the problem (at the cost of thousands of dollars).

That may be the case, but I'll be sure to use someone else. Someone who is thorough and takes responsibility for the quality of their work instead of blaming the customer.

Sunday morning, watching football, everything was great. Then the water heater went out. Called one plumbing company: no answer. Called another: picked up, very nice, but couldn't come out until Tuesday. Then we got a tip to call Izzy. They picked up and told us they could take care of it the same day! Adrian was soon on his way and within a couple hours we had a new water heater installed for a very reasonable price and were back in the hot water business! Thanks, Adrian!!
