Ivitts was contracted to fix our water heater after our basement flooded. The contractor paid Ivitts in advance. The plumber from Ivitts put in a water heater, but did not check the house to make sure the water heater was doing its job. When we called back, the plumber looked downstairs and checked the kitchen sink. It was warm and he said once the water was heated, we'd be fine.
Once we checked all of the sinks, tubs, and showers, 2 sinks and 1 shower had hot water. 1 bathroom - no hot water sink and tub. 2 bathroom - no hot water sink, tub, shower. Kitchen sink - no hot water. We were having to heat water to wash anything that didn't go in the dishwater. Then, the plumber asked my 76 year old mother to write a check directly to him. The check was never cashed because I called Ivitts right after it happened.
Ivitts received their money from our insurance BEFORE the job was started. Ivitts left us with almost no hot water.
I had to call another plumber to fix the problem and pay him myself. Ivitts did not do their job. Their website says 100% satisfied customer. They need to put 99, because I would never recommend them to anyone.

I also called the BBB, not to complain, but to see if they were licensed and bonded in the state I live...they are not, or at least the BBB representative could not find them.

We have 120 room hotel full of guests that had no hot water this morning. Called Ivitts and they had it fixed within a couple of hours. The young man was very professional and polite. There was an elderly guest in the lobby and he looked up weather forcasts for her and was just a sweetheart. I highly recommend them and will definitely use Ivitts in the future!

They were nice and they fit me in on short notice but they didn't tell me how bad the problem was. Matter of fact he only told me that I had a lot of roots and asked me if I wanted them to reroute the pipes for $1350. I asked if it was something that needed to be done immediately he said NO just depends on how fast the roots grow and how often you get them cleaned out. So I figure I had a little time to get the money together. Imagine my surprise two weeks later when it got back up again. I call the office after hours and left a message. I get a call back and she explains the issue with my sewer line and tell me all these details about what's wrong and why I'm having the issue. Then proceeds to tell me I had already been told that and said I didn't want them to reroute the pipes...????Had I known no I had been told that there was an issue then I would have got it done. No he made it sound like I would be good for at least a yr. When I get the issues fixed I will not be using this company to fix it!!!!!I will not be using them ever again they are not honest and I don't dishonest people working in my front yard!!!
