I received a quote for some work to be done including an installation of a mini-split in my home. The quote I was given had no mention of expiration and no time limit. Seven weeks later when I was ready to move forward (it was nearly $7000 and I needed time to determine if it was the right move) I was told that the price went up by $500. One of their agents had even called me to check in and see if I wanted to move forward with no explanation of the price change. No itemized explanation was provided for the price increase. They had an entire conversation with me and my electrician where they never mentioned the price change. It wasn't until I said ""ok I'm going to move forward"" that they hiked the price. Jason, the manager, basically told me it was my problem. They weren't going to absorb costs. So I've moved on and I suggest other customers do too.
It is incredibly dishonest to ask me to just know their estimate procedures. Good, honest companies clearly state limits and timelines.
IT Landes claims they wanted to work with me. They claim they want my business, but they operate with a sneaky bait and switch mentality.
They provided a quote with no expiration date and then refused to honor it. They're dishonest and lack integrity.

This past Friday we had an issue with main sewer line backing up and not draining. We call IT Landes to come out for service. I was told it was $79 for service call then 80$ an half hour for any diagnostics that might need to be done. This had happened before so I knew what problem was and it only needed to use plunger in the vent that is on front lawn. The service guy was at my house for less then 15 minutes and I was given bill for $218! I would advise against ever using IT Landes plumbing unless u enjoy giving ur money away!

Most plumbers I talked to after this was done told me they would only charger for simple service call for what was done, this is price gouging at its best so do your homework before ever using IT Landes for and of the services they provide.

They arrived at my home to repair a drain clog and spent 6 hours with an augur and it didn't work. They had no other solution and claimed they comild not get hold of a supervisor for more help and left the job. No other solution other than they had to get to another job. We were left with no solution and no working bathrooms or kitchen. I called the company to complain and the secretary was pleasant and took my name but I never received a call back.

Unresponsive to urgent circumstances. Our hot water tank broke and after we contacted IT Landis, they came in 3 days later for an original appointment. After IT Landis's assessment we paid for all necessary equipment and still are waiting 11 days for IT Landis to install it while they already had the equipment. IN the meantime IT Landis charged us several times already -- in addition to the equipment -- before doing anything on their part. We were to pay extra for quick service and/or assist in any way possible: bring the equipment to the house, etc, but no takers. As such, have been without hot water/dishwasher for a while.

Called Landis to replace my garbage disposal with a Badger 1XL I purchased from Lowes.The plumber who by his own admission stated this was only his second installation on his own. He replaced the disposal and watched him push hard on the drain that is looked like the shape of a fat egg instead of being round.
When he tried it, the drain leaked a bit so he tried reinstalling it and used a lot of plumbers putty to seal the leak but it kept dripping so he said to put a drip pan under the sink to catch the water. He claimed the brand new right out of the box disposal was defective. He said he could sell me the exact same one he had in the truck for $179.00 ( paid $99.00 at Lowes.
Had another plumber from Landis come out and tried to fix the drip with no results.
You would think if you are going to pay a professional to do a job it would be cone correct. I think this is a shady company only after your money and just makes excuses when they cam't fix a simple leak. I will never use them again and plan on letting all my friends and go on all my social media to let people know they need to really research if they need a plumber with a good solid reputation and honor and pride in their work.
Wife called to complain and was told we would have to pay 79.00 just to have them come out again.as the saying goes, trick me once shame on aysou, trick me twice shame on me.
I wouldn' t even give them 1 star.
There has to be an honest and honorable plumber out there, but defiantly not with Landis.

Always the best service. I have used IT Landes since 2004. They did all of my plumbing and heating after a major fire. Every thing was beautiful, office staff very cordial and efficient and prices are good. They even will come out at night. I have had Dean M. for many years for my heating and air services and he is knowledgeable, proactive, very neat and does a SUPER job.

Our toilet overflowed and flowed and flowed. I called it Landis at 1:00pm they were at my door around 1:30pm. Turns out our sewer exhaust pipe was raised and rocks got in and clogged everything up. Duane was very helpful and informative. He ran back to get vac and back up. Cleared the blockage and told us to be vigilant and keep any eye on pipe to make sure it doesn't rise up again. Was it something I could have fixed myself? Probably. But I never would have known where to look and used flashlight to see rocks. Very helpful and worth the $

Excellent timely service. Our tankless water heater periodically stopped coming on a few months ago. After trying to get other companies to fix or replace it and getting delays and the runaround, IT Landes promptly evaluated what was needed and two days later had it very professional replaced.
