A complete inept business that preys on people. They said that this plumbing job at my house was not covered by my warranty (American Home Shield), due to wear and tear. Well it just so happens that I've read through their plans and AHS does in fact cover wear and tear. I have a high feeling that this company wanted a quick no work job and get the 75$ service fee and leave without having to do absolutely anything besides quoting their own extravagant price of around 400$ to fix this issue. Do not fall for this company and if chosen as the contractor by AHS, specifically tell them not to use this company. You've treated one customer wrong, but imagine the possibilities of other businesses you've just lost Island MANN. What a terrible company and a disrespect to the plumbing industry

My Warranty company (American home shield) got me in touch with island Mann plumbing and I wish that never happened. We had a clogged drain. There was some minimal spillage from dishwasher from water backup. They came to unclog it only to make thing much worse. The plumber used a tool with high force to unclog from the kitchen drain and when he got it out there was Sheetrock on the tool!. Now, we see sooo much water on the floor. He even ran more water after the fact without checking what happened. He immediately felt stuck and had to call his supervisor then left us with this mess saying his supervisor is coming the next day!
I had start working on limiting the damage by capturing water/moisture. I opened the Sheetrock under the sink and found a gaping hole in an elbow which is the reason for all the water. The supervisor came back the next day and all he did is wash his hands with it saying there must have been a crack. I told him a crack can be opened by the tool but if the wrong tool is used, it will make a hole as seen my picture here. Then he had the audacity to ask for $580 to fix it. Of course the warranty (American Home Shield) sided with him calling it pre-existing to avoid paying for the mess they caused..

We had an air conditioner drainage leak and he was out within an hour and a half I got in we are in Bayharbor at the West end. Would definitely call him again

Easy process through and through! The ladies in the call center communicated well between myself and the plumber they sent. They were at our house on the faaaar West End in less than an hour after I called. He was in and out in 15 minutes. Perfect fix. Thank you very much!

My toliets was running so I turned off the shut-off valve and needed a plumber to just change out the parts inside. A simple job that the plumber could not do. He gave me a quote and attempted to change the parts then while doing it he broke the tube inside. Said the toilet was too old and would be cheaper to replace it Mind you my house is only 14years old. And from what I gathered toilets last 50 years. He then proceeded to fix the second leaking toilet but only adjusted the filer and said I had to hold down the lever to completely flush the toilet. Now my toilet is not flushing when I turn the lever but rather filling the bowl! I paid money to fix the issue which got worst on both toilets. I called and he insisted my toilets was too old and needed replacing. I am so mad. Worst service ever!!!!

This plumbing company gives prompt, outstanding service. I have used this company I believe 3 times in the past few years. I wasn't aware of them until about 4 years ago. Anyway, my kitchen sink drain was clogged for a few days and water just draining very slowly so I called about noon today & was told as soon as s technician was available, I'd receive a call with an appointment for service.
I was called about 1pm and Claro arrived about 1:15 pm. He was very clear about the service charge before he began , explained if more than an hour was necessary, there would be additional charges. He was done and on his way before 2:00 pm. He was a wonderful, very thorough, very professional, clearly explained my pipe situation, questioned my habits using my sink that could impact the clogging problem, etc. I will call Island Mann in the future for my plumbing needs and would hope CLARO is available and still employed by Island Mann. What could have made the experience better? Not one thing , it was perfect from start to finish and the cost was very reasonable in my opinion.
