Would be 1 star if it wasn't for Dan. He was super respectful and kind. Very good with my children who my wife couldn't keep entirely away. But that's about it for the positives. I had leaking faucets in our two bathrooms. Was told there wouldn't really be a way to fix them and that replacement was the only option. Fair enough, they were both pretty old. But then came the quote $2600 was the lowest price for both faucets ranging up to $3800.

When my wife said she didn't think that was in our budget we were encouraged to take out a loan to make it work. She said we weren't going to do that and said we would call back later when I got home from work. When I spoke with them they said they may be able to salvage one of the faucets and if so they could get it done that one done for $1100. (I had taken the handles off myself and didn't have the right tools to get to the cartridge that needed to be replaced but the part that needed replacing was less than $10.) I understand paying your people a decent wage but given that I had gotten 90% of the way to repairing it myself within about 30 minutes and the part was about $10 I figure they are charging about $1000 an hour. Which is insane.

Well, I decided not to bother trying to fix it and took a day off of work to replace both of them. Spend about $300 and 8 hours of work but replaced all the valves, lines and faucets and saved myself a cool $3500.

I would not recommend this company. They came out for $96 dollars to diagnose my water heater. They did a shoot gun diagnostic. They didn't test or take anything apart to see what was the issue. They wanted $1900.00 to put all new parts on it. My water heater was still under manufacture warranty. I called the manufacturer and they warranty a pilot light for free. I installed it and works fine now. This company want refund my money for there crap diagnostic. Don't use them.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I own a couple of two year old town homes in Cedar City. In one of them a bathroom sink had become loose from the counter, the bathtub faucet was lose from the wall (maybe 1/4 inch out from the wall) and one bathroom faucet was flowing very slowly. I called Iron Mountain Plumbing and set up an appointment, took time off work and drove to the townhome so I could be there when they were working. One guy was in their van waiting for someone else to come. He said he can do the plumbing work but is not good with the financial side. He waited at least 30 minutes until another guy showed up. I showed them my concerns and then they walked around for another 90 minutes looking for a shut off valve and writing up an estimate. We sat down and he showed me the cost for the ""good"", ""better"", or ""best"" repairs and explained that he would have to pretty much pull the walls apart and redo all the plumbing. The ""best"" came to close to $6000. That did not include fixing the sink. I knew I was being railroaded and sent them packing. His last comment was, ""What did you think it was going to cost? $50?""

So my son-in-law and his dad fixed the sink and the tub faucet (for free) and I called a plumber to look at the sink faucet. It took him literally 30 seconds to fix it by taking off the filter and washing it. He came and did that for free.

Don't every call Iron Mountain Plumbing. Oh, and they wanted me to sign up for their club plan where they come and check my plumbing once a year for a 10% discount.

I called Iron Mountain Plumbing and made an appointment for a leak at the ice maker connection, Two representatives showed up at my townhouse and came in and out of the house for two hours before they called for me to authorize the work, which I did not do. I had to take a U-turn on Iron Mountain Plumbing due to the absolute gouging, & exorbitant prices. I was quoted the deluxe job at over $1100.

Humm....to document how overpriced these 3 bids were; here you go --this is what a repair of this nature should cost. I asked my property manager not to mention the Iron Mountain bid because I was looking for a second opinion. I called Complete Plumbing of Cedar City, they came out the next morning with one plumber. He arrived, assessed the problem, gave us the price, fixed the problem in less than an hour. He got the ice maker connection working rather than just capped off. Complete Plumbing charged $120. That is one heck of a difference!

The two representatives from Iron Mountain took two hours to come up with these 3 outrageous bids. During the two hours, they went out to their truck 3 times to sit for a while to discuss the bid. They told my property manager they had to talk about it. They tried to convince my property manager that the leak had damaged the floor. NOT TRUE! I had the floor looked at several months ago by Legacy Flooring and 10-12 nearby homes had to have their floors replaced due to settling issues. My manager said they were obsessed with the floor, insisting this was the result of the leak. Just like their Premium, Gold, Silver, pricing system seems to me to be a scare strategy to up-sell their clients. BEWARE OF THIS.

My property manager called me while they were outside in their truck. They were in the truck just waiting to come in and do the repair. Iron Mountain Plumbing knew I needed it repaired quickly because I told them I had a new family moving in. I'm sorry I mentioned that because perhaps that set me up to be ripe for a big rip-off. The third time they were sitting outside, waiting for authorization for one of their 3 overpriced options. I told my manager NO I would not authorize that much to repair the ice maker connection. She went outside and told them they could go, I talked to them as well and said I would get a second opinion.

I have done home renovations for almost 50 years and I knew that bid was sky-high. I got a second opinion; I'm sure glad I did! It saved me over a thousand dollars & I got the deluxe job instead of ""Silver, budget job"" at over $700. and that would have just capped the connection. I emailed the owner or manager to please call me because of this major discrepancy in price, I asked Iron Mountain to waive the service fee due to these issues.

Perhaps the owner/manager was too embarrassed to respond. Anyway, Iron Mountain had a lady call me at 11:25 AM on 10-25-23, and in the four minutes she talked to me; she profusely apologized, but said she had no power to do anything. She told me the call was recorded and the owner/manager would be able to listen to our conversation. She said they told her that they would NOT waive the fee and that they have to be paid because they did send a representative out. That they did. I told the lady at Iron Mountain that I would very reluctantly pay their bill.

Later in the afternoon, I received an email with a new invoice, giving me a ""new customer coupon"" of $100. to pay the balance on my service call. I was glad to see their new invoice as it would gall me to pay a business for an excessive bid like that. **This was my experience. The bottom line is business practices like this need to be called out and corrected. I will not call on Iron Mountain again as I have first-hand knowledge of how overpriced their services are.

I am not the only one: others on Yelp have had similar experiences.
Their stories are worse than mine; like the senior citizen who received a $15,000 bid for a repair, that was later corrected by another plumber for a fraction of what the lady had to pay for them to come out. (Karla T.) Iron Mountain ""charged her a $1,000. just to look at it."" Karla T concluded her Yelp review with a statement I would have to agree with; ""Shame on you guys. very dishonest company. Would not recommend to anyone, run as fast as you can.""

Without a doubt; Integrity matters and businesses who treat, and grossly over-charge their customers like this, can expect to lose repeat customers and I am one of them. BEWARE GET A SECOND OPINION

If there was an option for a zero, that's what I would've given this company! Shame on you for taking advantage of senior citizens! My mom needed a pipe fixed under her house. You quoted her $15,000 and charged her over $1000 to even look at it. Another company came in and fixed it for less than what you charged her to just look at it. Shame on you guys. very dishonest company. Would not recommend to anyone run as fast as you can.

Extremely overpriced. With the prices they quote, you think they line your pipes with platinum and leave a complimentary Gold plunger.

it just cost me 97.00 for an estimate (they had explained it before they came) and it would be deducted from the cost to install a touchless kitchen faucet but when they told me it would be 616.00 to install!?!? that is worse than highway robbery- RUN......DO NOT CALL THEM

WARNING: Extremely overpriced! I have rentals and I've used many plumbers over the years. Their price gouging is beyond belief. They gave a ""discount from $996 to $896 for a job that should have been no more than $250.

We hired A&D to fix a leak in the two sink fixtures on the double sink in our newly-renovated master bath (less than six months old--including new fixtures). The service man gave us three options displayed on his iPad--Platinum, Gold, and Silver. We chose silver as the least expensive (""Platinum"" was over $1,000!). He did fix the link--it turns out that the chrome flashing around the faucets wasn't sealed around the countertop. When he was done, he had replaced all the under-sink drain plumbing (remember, this was less than six months old), saying that the contractor had installed it improperly--we had not asked him to do this.

He had also (as it said on the invoice) ""renovated"" the ""main water delivery fixture"" (remember, these were five months old, and the leak had nothing to do with the actual faucet hardware) ""renovated"" something called the ""Can't Leak supply system,"" which he never explained, and I can't find anything under that description online. He then performed ""area sanitization"" (we were apparently charged for him cleaning up after himself) and ""performance and safety testing""--I guess to make sure he'd done all that renovating properly. Oh, and there's a 1 year warranty.

Altogether he spent just shy of 3 hours in our house, and charged us $700 for the privilege. I'm guessing there might be at best $20 worth of parts in the new plumbing he put under the sinks. So his time worked out to well over $200 an hour. I'm embarrassed to say I fell for ""flashy"" marketing and tricky talk. The guy seemed to be competent at what he did, and fixed the leak, but upsold us for hundreds of dollars of ""services"" we didn't need. I would never recommend this company again.
