HORRIBLE I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. STAY CLEAR!!!!! Showed up, 1st person was late so rescheduled 2nd time when they showed up he diagnosed the problem and was friendly. I had to wait a week to have them come back out. This time another guy showed up. COVERED IN DIRT, rude had no idea why he was here I told him the situation and what parts were needed. Said all is good dont know why hes here tracked dirt into my home and all over my shower. Walked out and slammed the door. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE COMPANY. STAYYYYYYY FAR AWAY

Our home insurance company sent IRH out to replace a water heater that had stopped working. They were professional and got the job done. Yay for hot water!

Only reason why I gave 4 stars is because of the miscommunication that happened when they got here. They asked us where the new water heater was when we were under the impression they were supposed to bring it. The technician made a phone call and got it all straightened out. Took a little longer than expected since he had to go pick up the water heater he was supposed to bring in the first place. Other than that snag it was smooth sailiing.

If you are being assigned to this plumber, cancel it right away! Don't need to waste your time and service few call to deal with the technician! They are the worst nightmare and will scam your money. All the review noted tells exactly the same experience I had.

Customer Service was terrible and prices were ridiculously high for the replacement of a water heater.. They compensated for the receipt of low reimbursement from American Home Shield by inflating the price of what they called Code upgrades which are not covered by the home warranty company.

Referred by our AHS warranty (terrible too) and no job has been done yet. We reported in October and IRH evaluate in January and cancelled last minute (@6p when we agreed to a 12-4p timeframe) our appt. IRH did not communicate to us that they needed access to our plumbing (another $1000) but we found out through AHS. Once we did the restoration work, IRH says now it isn't covered. Has yet to finish the job and insurance isn't going to cover any if it. Do not waste your time or money w/either IRH or AHS home warranty. They need to hire more workers bc their workers seem capped and overworked.

I have AHS and they sent this guy to fix some issues in my upstairs bathroom. A typical drain stopage that any plumber could handle.Basically he said all my issues were not covered. I pay $100 deductible. He did nothing. He said he could do it for $150.00 an hour. What am I paying $ 43.00 a month for??? What a rip off.

Beware! Not the plumber you want to use unless you have A LOT of time to spare. Unfortunately my experience was much like the other reviews here. This plumbing company was contracted by my home warranty company after I discovered a hot water slab leak. The plumber came to the house within 48 hours and confirmed the leak. He was to write up the analysis and submit the estimate to the warranty company. After 10 days nothing had been done. During those 10 days I left 10 different voicemails and my hone warranty company left another 5 voicemails without any response, not even a status update. After threatening to call them every half hour the next day until they picked up my call they finally called back. At that point I had already decided to move on to another plumber who immediately picked up the job and started working on it within 24 hours.

Under our home warranty program, IRH Plumbing was assigned to our claim. Simple component failure in our hot water system. Tech visited as promised to diagnose, confirm and submit paperwork to warranty company for replacement of component. It is 10 days after the initial visit, warranty company does NOT have the appropriate paperwork from IRH and we still don't have hot water in half of our home. Also, IRH Tech stated there will be a $250 line modification charge to be paid by us to change the failed component. The component is a direct replacement with exactly the same fittings. I have left 4 VM's with IRH with no response so far.

AHS warranty sent this company to my home today. Right off the bat, the guy was aggressive and defensive. I explained the situation to clarify the issue calmly and he demanded proof and paperwork from the previous plumber. His notes were incorrect but he didn't want to listen, so I asked him to leave and canceled the appointment. When i left, he forced an invoice on me claiming I had canceled it for no reason.
And I'm glad that I did, after reading the other reviews. This is as much America Home Shield's issue, as it is IRH Plumbing. They both need better quality control...

terrible. the worst. did not show through ahs appointment on jan 12, then did not show on jan 21. on jan. 26 did not have faucet equipment, although that is why they were called, specifically!! they don't answer their phone. someone named shawn is irresponsible in their office. ahs often uses sub par service companies. shame on them. we have a leak because they didn't shut off water below damaged faucet, we did, but it is still leaking and will trigger our leak defense system. negligent and irresponsible - simply not nice! this is an emergency!!!
