Our very old water heater broke down and Thayne at IHS Plumbing came out promptly and worked to put in a new one till 8:30 at night! That is great dedication and we we really appreciated the excellent service!! I highly recommend them!

Ira Hansen and Sons came out to fix our plumbing, they were here for a short time, used a snake outside and ""fixed"" it. Charged us $185 to get this done. We left shortly after this on vacation and came back to a backed-up bathroom again. I called to explain that we haven't been here to use the plumbing and it's clearly not fixed. They said they can't warranty plumbing and since it's been more than a couple days, they would have to charge us $185 again. I asked if I could send them our travel documents to show that we weren't in town, so clearly we weren't using the plumbing but she said no. Super frustrating, will not be using them again.

Couldn't help but notice a driver a couple months back (just saw my review wasn't published) in one of your trucks (fully branded, which is how i found you) mocking the climate change protestors by acting like he was crying rubbing his eyes and then laughing at the kids (elementary through middle and high school) protesting outside their school in Truckee today. Not very mature to be mocking children who are trying to do what they think is right. Don't know your stance/care as we're all entitled to our opinions and it looks like you guys provide an excellent service, BUT still not a good look for an adult driving a company vehicle to be making fun of kids.

Very happy with my service with these guys. This is the second time I've used them, first time was an emergency Sunday issue which I was very grateful for their emergency weekend service, and this second time I had the luxury of scheduling the appointment. It was easy to schedule and on time arrival.
Andy and Tracy were quick and knowledgeable even with my old 1940's plumbing issues. My 2 outside spickettes were replaced and the drain in my basement is working like it should! Andy even cleaned out the sink which was above and beyond IMO.
Ira Hansen and sons will be my go-to for plumbing requests here on out.

I am SUPER impressed and I have Larrisa and Tracy to thank! After getting the run around all morning for an emergency plumbing issue, I decided to call these folks. Larrisa was knowledgeable and put in an emergency order and the plumber was here within an HOUR! We live in The Highlands on a hill and our access pipe isn't an easy one to access under a short deck. Tracy maneuvered his way and handled it! I can't thank you guys enough! Having water backing up in the house is a scary ordeal and I am MUCH APPRECIATIVE!!

Excellent process...First Taylor helped set up my appointment. She is delightful to talk with and the appointment was satisfactorily set. Tracy was able to come earlier than the appointment which also worked out well. He was very polite and thorough in explaining the process and the estimate for the faucet installation. Very pleased when he explained what he was doing and how the faucet would work in the particular setting. He also was very neat ...cleaned up everything. Highly pleased with the entire process from setting up the appointment to the completion of the installation. I will use again if needed. Taylor and Tracy are very nice people to work with.

This company was really excellent. I called (and they immediately answered the phone!) and I spoke to a knowledgeable girl named Taylor who had Tracy the plumber up to my house in less than an hour! We live in a very affluent community in South Reno and often get gouged by inflated prices and quotes for things we don't need. Not IH&S plumbing. They were honest, quick and efficient and only did the necessary work . Extremely impressive from start to finish. Can't go wrong with this company.

A week prior, I had LUKE and ALEX at my house to repair the toilets. They are so friendly & fast!! We were talking about the water shutoff to the house and how where I need to do it, it is very difficult & really terrible. They talked about how we could make improvements to the shutoff next to the house instead. I've always wanted to do it and didn't know I could. They came back out the next week and fixed a different toilet (that decided to break) and dug up the water shutoff & made it awesome! I really love these guys and will never call anyone else for my plumbing woes.
