We recently moved in to our house and had a problem with our kitchen sink leaking from a pipe that came loose and not knowing what piping should look like we called Ira Hansen & Sons. Not familiar with plumbers in the area we came here to yelp and saw their great reviews.
We took a chance and got amazing customer service and professionalism!!!!
Andy called ahead to see if he could come earlier which worked out for us. When he arrived he shook my hand and made sure I had no other plumbing issues. I showed him the problem and he went straight to work. Once he was finished he explained to me that my problem was only that the original pipe was just a little short and must have gotten bumped when putting away items causing the pipe to separate. He told me he went ahead and installed a longer pipe and told me there was no charge!!! NO COST!! I was blown away! This company/family values their customers. He handed me their business card and simply requested to call them any time for plumbing.
Do yourself a favor and call Ira Hansen & Sons!! You'll be glad you did!!

HIRE THEM - I only take the time to write a Yelp review if I feel it warrants it. And when looking for a great plumbing service, I would highly recommend Ira and Sons. The plumber who helped us was Bryan Yeoman. If you can request him as your plumber, I would recommend that as well. He was a professional, very personable, has the experience and absolutely knew his craft. He was able to assess our problem and fix it efficiently and in timely manner. If all the plumbing staff is as knowledgeable and professional as Bryan, then you can't go wrong hiring Ira Hansen and Sons Plumbing to address your plumbing needs.

I am SUPER impressed and I have Larrisa and Tracy to thank! After getting the run around all morning for an emergency plumbing issue, I decided to call these folks. Larrisa was knowledgeable and put in an emergency order and the plumber was here within an HOUR! We live in The Highlands on a hill and our access pipe isn't an easy one to access under a short deck. Tracy maneuvered his way and handled it! I can't thank you guys enough! Having water backing up in the house is a scary ordeal and I am MUCH APPRECIATIVE!!

I realized I had a leak coming from my hot water heater and called. Larrisa got me the first appointment for the next morning. Tracy and his assistant were prompt and explained that fixing the small leak would be a waste of time since the hot water heater was between 10 and 15 years old. In 2 hours, I had a new hot water heater installed and an explanation of how to protect it with a yearly purging of the sediment. I checked in with yelp and received a $20 discount besides. I am pleased and will call them again in the future.

The plumber spent about 10 minutes assessing the non-emergency problem. He then advised me that if he did any work at all- and whether he could fix it or not- it would cost $185 plus parts. It took him about 15 minutes to fix. So, 25 minutes cost $185 PLUS I was charged another $15 for 4' of 1/4"" tubing. Will NOT be using this company when we do our kitchen and bath remodel/updates! ( note: technician, Tracy, was professional and competent).

PS: In all the other local trades ( roofer, windows, flooring, painting, pavers, electrician) that have come to the house in the last 8 months as we update/remodel, this is the only time we have felt ripped off.

PSS: for comparison on rates: The service/repairs at the Mercedes Dealership is @ $165 an HOUR...!!! This company is over $350 an hour! Outrageous.

I called and requested assistance with repairs for a real estate sale and Ira Hansen Plumbing was, ""Johnny on the spot"". From the receptionist who took my call and Andy, our Plumber it was top-notch, quick and thorough. My seller was happy and the new buyer will have a one year warranty on the work Andy did. He called me when he was finished, took a picture of the work performed and of the check showing the agreed amount. Call Ira Hansen for all your plumbing needs, fast, reliable and thorough!

I needed to get a toilet replaced in one of our bathrooms. I called IHS Plumbing last week and was offered a same day appointment! Because I work nights and needed to sleep I opted to take an early appointment for this morning.

Taylor was great making sure that we got an appointment that worked for us and that we had discussed who was buying the toilet and the needed equipment.

Andy called me about 7:30 am to let me know that he would be here at 8. Promptly at 8 am, my doorbell rang. He quoted me what the cost for installation barring any problem. No up-sale, thank you!!
With about one hour's time, Andy had the old toilet out, the new one in and no messes left behind. He made sure to let me know that if there were any problems with the installation that he would be back out to fix it. He, also, took the time to let me know what the warranty on the toilet was and I had made that purchase!

I will definitely call IHS Plumbing again should the need arise!

I didn't personally call and deal with this company. My neighbor and I shared a water leak at our connection to the city. CJ came out and I talked with him about what was going on. Despite my not being the actual customer, he took his time to answer my questions and was very helpful. Gave me a good feeling about this company and feel like I would call them in the future for any plumbing needs.
