He replaced with a brass fitting and copper piping; the way the job should have been done in the first place (by the licensed plumbers who had installed the water heater).

His work is very well finished and clean, and from what I can tell, he has top expertise in plumbing. He is well mannered and well spoken and comes off as very sincere. He came home for a free estimate and even when I showed him other things around the house, he did not oversell. Initially his price seemed high till he explained the reason, which I later confirmed. I did not bargain as his labor seemed to be in line with what most plumbers would charge, but he is well worth it.

In my house he changed the Water Pressure Regulator and left the whole setup in a much better condition than the messy original!
