Iplumb has two Yelp accounts (Leesburg and Purcellville) and my original post was removed b/c I posted on both accounts... BEWARE... they are the same company. STAY AWAY.

They installed equipment that leaked TWO days after it was installed and damaged our home. This happened in Oct 2018. Months later (now April 2019) they still have not refunded us the almost $1000 we paid for their equipment. (When they did agree to refund us, they said they were going to charge us a 'restocking' fee.) When I refused those terms, they stopped answering my calls. Now their own insurance is refusing to cover the damages to our home and my insurance will have to fight them. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS.

We had water leaking into our basement and the carpet was getting very wet so in a semi-panic I called iPlumb around 9am in the morning. The lady I spoke to said she could have someone here at around noon and the technician would call me before they headed over. So I wait till noon and not a word from them...I wait awhile longer and finally call but it goes into voice mail. I leave a message, thinking they would call me back soon.

At around 3pm I call again and leave another message, still no return call. I decide to call another plumber so I started calling around. At about 3:30pm, the lady with iPlumb calls back and says they got backed up (of course!) and someone would be calling me soon to let me know they are headed over. I wait about right till 6pm and a technician finally calls me to tell me she is heading over.

Here it is six hours past the time when they told me there would be here (noon) when I first spoke to them in the morning. I told her it was too late as I had called another plumbing company and they had someone here at our house within about an hour and a half. In fact the other plumbing company's technician had already arrived and found the problem (broken sump pump) when the iPlumb lady called me to say she was coming over.

I think when I spoke with them in the morning, they probably knew that they couldn't get someone here at noon but didn't want me to call another plumber so they told me their tech would be here at noon. Then kept stringing me along until it got too late in the day when they thought it would be too late to get another plumber out.

Otherwise someone would have called me around noon to say they were running late.....but I did not hear from them until 3:30pm. They fooled me but they made a mistake because now I have exposed their little game for others to see. Would advise all to avoid this company as am sure I'm not the first they have pulled this on nor the last.

Update 3/27/19: Owner Angela saw my recent review and she began a slew of harassing phone calls and text messages. Early Sunday morning (3/24) while we were still sleeping, my phone began ringing multiple times and woke us up. I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer and let it go into voice mail.

Later I listed to it and it was iPlumb owner Angela, calling to complain about my review I had left Saturday. I didn't return her call as I thought it very unprofessional and outright rude to call someone early Sunday morning that related a business matter. She could have easily waited until Monday and called on an appropriate day.

Later that evening about 6pm, my phone started ringing again but this time from a different number.....again I let it go into voice mail. It was Angela again and she left a 2 1/2 minute rambling message; however I only listed to the first part to see who it was and didn't bother listening to the rest. She called from a different number trying to trick me into answering - a very underhanded thing to do.

I didn't return her call and then she started texting me multiple times - basically continuing to harass me for leaving the negative review. I text her back to leave me alone and not to text me again or I report her to the police for phone harassment.

She continued to text me even after I requested she stop so I will be filing a police report against her for harassment. I would advise anyone needing plumbing service to avoid this company else you might go through what I did.

What started as a simple DIY toilet fill valve replacement quickly turned into a pressing need for a plumber at 4:00 in the afternoon. The water shut off valve to the toilet would not close completely, and we ran into the same issue when we went to shut off the main water valve. We had been warned a few years ago that the main valve would probably need to be replaced at some point, but we hadn't gotten around to it yet. So we had a toilet that was constantly running and two broken valves that we needed fixed ASAP. I searched Yelp and saw that iPlumb had good ratings. I called and they were able to dispatch someone around 5:00 who was just finishing up a job. The plumber came out and fixed all the issues quickly and at a reasonable price. I was impressed with their flexibility and quick service and so thankful to have the issue resolved before it ran up our water bill. I will definitely use them again.

Johnny is a great plumber , he is very experienced and talented. You gotta figure out how to have him work for you though...he likes short cuts..:) over all they gave me 5 star service and therefore I am giving them 5 stars....he installed water treatment system which helped improve the water quality in the house...NOT %100 percent but around %80 percent. I had a minor issue with the system last week and Michael stopped by on the same day to fix the issue. Well, they may charge you a little higher price but they stand strong behind their work and they did a good job. I have seen a few bad reviews here but it was not the case for me!

Brain surgeon pricing! Beware of the flat rate pricing...was given the impression that the job was ""big"" but it was done in an hour. Turns out I paid $500/hr and the company had no interest in adjusting the price to something reasonable. I was totally duped!

Sherry was really efficient in finding fault with my toilet flush and kitchen insinkerator. She also found a leaking pipe in the roof of my foyer, and replaced it in less than an hour. She was really nice and knowledgable and advised me about future plumbing issues that might occur soon. She was really good. I would recommend this plumbing company and Sherry to all friends who need plumbing services in their homes.

Would rate lower than 1 but not possible. I made an appointment ahead and was given a 4 hour window. Took time off from work to wait. The 4 hours are coming to a close, so I text the scheduler back who states it will be shortly after 6. I say ok. I receive a call at 620 stating the tech will be here at 7. He no shows by 740 and I receive a text from the company stating the tech came and gave an estimate. They no showed then lied, dont use there are many other reliable plumbers who would love the work

Do not use! They see you new expensive equipment and then they don't return phone calls or emails to service those products once those products fail. Non-responsive and their mailbox is full.

They were awesome. Immediate response and email for my repair. They were able to do a next day appointment even though my inquiry was at 8:20 pm the night before. Sherry arrived and quickly gave me an estimate. I agreed and the repair for my shower stems and knobs was completed quickly. She was very professional knowledgeable and friendly. Showed me where the master water shutoff valve is as we just moved in and I had no idea. Totally recommend iPlumb to anyone in need of maintenance or a major repair. I have never had someone respond so quickly that I would rather contact iPlumb and pay out of pocket than contact my rental management company because their work is superior faster and guaranteed.
