We had a bad leak and didn't know where it was coming from. Ou carpet was soaked and we didn't know if our floor would need to be jackhammering since it seemed to be a leak under the floor. Thank goodness for the honesty of these workers! They came promptly, found the leak very quickly, fixed the plugged drain and stopped the flood! We are so appreciative of their work. We were sure we had to have our floor jackhammered and thank goodness, they told us the truth. We were extremely pleased with the work. This is a great company with very honest hardworking employees! Thank goodness for them! They're coming back to do some other work for us! We are very pleased!

Can not recommend. Cam out, put camera down downspout to foundation tile, identified it was plugged. Offered to have their height pressure truck come out for 900 but could not give me any guarantee it would clear. They have a great add on tv and nice receptionist but the product is a bit of a scam.

When I called they offered me to clean the rain drain pipes and view it with camera for $250 and said they have expertise to fix the issue without digging the ground. When they came, they just viewed the drain pipes with camera, and said it was blocked and they can't clean it. They asked for $26,000 to fix the issue and charged me $180 just to tell me the drain is blocked!!!! Which I initially knew that's why I called for their service!!! Next day, I hired a guy from Craiglist, and he snake out the drain pipe and cleaned it up for $250!!! This company is a scam and unprofessional, you find better and cheaper and more professional service providers somewhere else.

Beware...called for their $79 camera inspection. They tacked on an $89 ""service"" fee which was not told to me when I called them. Then they only did a partial camera inspection and recommended a $1000+ service to replace a trap that I later found out is the responsibility of the county. Never again.

I wish I could choose less than 1 star...

Before I say anything, the Navien hot water system is great. We have no issues with the product itself.

We purchased an on-demand hot water system from Ben Franklin Plumbing in 2011. Supposed to last for 15 to 20 years. Not just 9. We always work with the vendor we purchased from. We are loyal to our contractors. This is the best way to go in my opinion. They have been awesome. Until now...No longer Ben Franklin Plumbing. Became Certified Plumbing....now no longer Certified Plumbing. Getting a picture here? Now we are talking about Invisible Excavations. What? Should have been a red flag.

Anyway, we had a issue every time we went out of town for several days while the hot water wasn't being used. Once we got back and needed hot water, the unit would leak for a while. Recently, when we returned the leak would not stop. Ended up having to shut the water off to the whole house. Called our vendor (now Invisible Excavations) to get some help. After only showing them where the leak was (they never asked to turn the water on to see the leak) they gave us an estimate of $579 plus $89 service fee. They also gave us the option to replace the unit for $3,500+. It was appalling. Navien boost a long life for their system. We had no water so we decided we had to go with it. We had no water! We trusted them! I assumed afterwards it would have been adjusted for the work that was done. It was an ESTIMATE....not so.

The ESTIMATE stood at $668.

Turned out, we had a tech for 1 hour and he replaced one o-ring. The o-rings were included with the unit. They were attached to the inside of the unit. No parts required by Invisible Excavations. So, one hour or labor was $579.00. This is so in-your-face wrong.

What is wrong with this picture? I have talked to them and they were supposed to get back to me but haven't.

I could go on and on about this. We are so disappointed. People beware of contractors.

Thanks,
Jeff Daniocek (yes, my real name)

I would include my personal contact info if there weren't so many crooks out there. Peace to all of you.

I used Invisible Excavations for a recurring basement water problem. They sent over a crew with a camera to diagnose, and they gave me a diagnosis based on this visual analysis. Their camera was so precise, they felt confident identifying the specific location of a broken pipe outside the home. They gave me an estimate based on their diagnosis and left me to consider their solution. My City engineering department came out and used their equipment to view the same storm sewer line, and pinpointed the very same spot IE diagnosed, to confirm what I was quoted. I went with IE to complete the repair, and the crew was extremely professional, they performed the repair with minimal disruption to my exterior of the home, and they came back and cleaned every area where they had worked. In October 2017, as a sewer contractor, my company referred Invisible Excavation to a job of lining a sewer. In the initial phone conversation with Brian Mc Dermott, Invisible Excavation offered a referral fee of 10% of the work sent to them. The original estimate of approximately $3,500 turned into a $17,500 job.
Also, according to the homeowner, while doing the job, Invisible Excavation improperly laid the liner, blocking the line and therefore they needed to excavate the front yard with a backhoe, digging down to the lateral lines to correct their mistake. They had to dig down to remove the obstruction they created blocking the line and in doing so also cracked the driveway.
As of today June 14th, Invisible Excavation has not fixed the driveway nor paid the commission they agreed to. When contacting them they have only been non-cooperative, rude and unreasonable to deal with.
To this point, Invisible Excavation has demonstrated no intent of honoring their agreement to pay the commission. When a contractor does not pay the costs related to a job, it in some cases can leave the homeowner open to lien exposure. My company had considered exercising the right to lien on the property but concluded it that would only victimize the homeowner.

It has been said, ""A man is no better than his word."" And in my opinion this is not how business should be done.

VERY unsatisfied with this company. Called them to snake my downspout drain. They showed up over an hour late, told me they couldn't snake the drain, used their camera to show me something I knew already (my drain was plugged up) and then charged me $300. I literally received no service from these guys and they charged me like they did a full job. The kid told me he'd give me a quote on replacing my line with PVC, but I never received that either. Complete joke!
