Intrepidus responded with 10 min. of receiving my request. Chris showed up at the appointed time and proceeded to inspect my job. I had my building Super inspect the job before before Chris got here so I already knew exactly what needed to be done and approximately what the job should cost. Without me saying a word, Chris pointed out exactly the same defects that my Super had and came in within $15 from the price my Super had given me. 2 hours later and the job which included installing a new water filtration system was complete. The whole thing including a trip to a hardware store took 2 hours
and Chris left my home at around 9:00 PM. Not once did he suggest completing the job the next day. Not once did he show that he was annoyed. He was pleasant, friendly and explained every detail to me. I have some other projects to take care of in the coming months and I will definitely be calling Intrepidus and Chris again.

I had a small leak in a pipe in the basement and asked for quotes around lunchtime. Kaitlyn responded right away and said someone could come same day, and she gave me regular updates by phone as to when to expect him. Chris arrived in the evening, was very knowledgeable, and was able to acquire and install a new pipe in a few hours, with extensive testing for leakage. The price seemed fair. Thanks and I will keep Intrepidus in mind for future jobs!

We worked with Chris to replace an outdated water heater, and had a positive experience. He was very approachable, took time to educate us about the pros and cons of the options we were considering. He communicated clearly and when we decided to move forward with the project, he was prompt, attentive to details, and true to his estimate. Two weeks into our new water heater and all is fine. We would work with him again.

One thing to be aware of is that he requires a fee when visiting the first time, and then this fee is deducted from the final bill if you decide to move forward working together. We had no problems with this, but if you are looking for a free in person estimate, he might not be your guy.

Had a problem with our water heater, and needed what we thought was a quick fix. Chris was in the area and headed over in no time to give us a free estimate (for a new heater, ours was a 12yo leaky one lol).

He picked it up from HD the following day and did the install that same evening with another person. Everything's working well.

Rate was pretty reasonable, and Chris was very punctual. Enthusiastically recommended.
