I called a different company for an emergency call and they said I needed a new sewer main. The next day I called my regular plumber who said they don't do that work and recommended Interstate. Interstate came and used the camera and said I needed a new sewer main.

It took Interstate longer than expected to let me know the results of the camera evaluation which was frustrating but in the end they were $6,000 cheaper than the other company. Erik explained everything that would happen and got us on the schedule quickly.

The work was very fast and professional, in fact they were able to use trenchless technology to avoid tearing up the yard. The areas they had to dig looked amazing after they were finished and I was very happy with the result. They also have a ten year warranty.

If you need water or sewer main work, call Interstate and get it taken care or for a reasonable price.

Needed a new main waterline at the recommendation of a plumber. Shopped around for expertise and estimates....settled in with Interstate who provided the most competitive estimate. Professionalism, workmanship, and customer service very good. Would recommend for sewer and waterline replacement.

Fantastic service! Mario was punctual, polite, and *really* knew his stuff. He made short work of the repair and restored the grass he had to dig up to work. The repair cost even ended up coming in under the original estimate! If I have any more irrigation needs, I'll be certain to call Interstate (& Mario).

Interstate was on time and professional. Their ""pipe bursting"" technology reduced our overall cost and minimized footprint of removing/replacing ~100ft of sewer main. Very interesting process to watch too. I would give them a 4.5 if I could.

Overall, I have been happy with Interstate. They installed our sprinklers and come out twice a year for winter shut off and spring turn on. However, recently that came out to repair a pipe and wiring that I cut through when digging in the yard. Again, all was fine until I received the invoice. During the repair, the technician told me he had to go to Lowes to pick up wire connectors because he didn't have any on the truck. He used 13 of them. On the invoice, Interstate charged me $3.83 for each connector. I looked at the Lowes website, found the exact connectors, and they cost $1.04 each. When I disputed a $50 materials charge that should have been around $15, Interstate said they stand behind their pricing. I am going to pay the invoice, of course, but they may have lost a long term customer for the sake of a grossly over-inflated markup.

I am very pleased with the services I have received from Interstate. We moved to Interstate from a previous provider two years ago (the previous provider was not terrible but more expensive) and our experiences have been outstanding. They are prompt, courteous and fair in pricing.

Interstate enterprises did our sprinker installation 5 years back. The installation was fine.. we did not have any issues. But, recently we got a letter from VDOT that the sprinkler heads are in the right of way and that it should be reinstalled with no charge to the purchases.
I called interstate and spoke to a lady named Sue..it was a terrible experience.
1. First, she would not give her name and hung up on me when I asked her where does it say that the purchaser needs to pay for the ""right of way"" changes.
2. Called again, unfortunately she picked again, so after repeated number of times, said she was Sue.. not sure if thats right though..
3. When I asked her to send me the contract where it says its purchasers responsibility, she emailed me a page which did not have their logo or where I have signed... seemed like a page out of nowhere..
4. She claimed the contract is a 2 sided doc.. while the one where I have signed is a single page contract...

This is seriously cheating... I have no choice now that I am going to pursue this to see where it goes... but if this helps anyone make a choice for sprinker installation... DO NOT GO with interstate... They are NOT HONEST.

I like this company. I use them for my sprinkler system, and they charge $190, a reasonable price, for the spring turn-on, summer inspection and fall turn-off. This winter I found that I cannot close off the shutoff valve for outdoor garden spigot and called Interstate to help. A tech came in and checked the problems. The office properly submitted an estimate and quoted the work by the actual hourly charge and the material used. In contrast, I called another high score plumber on Yelp and got quoted a charge more than twice high without breaking out the charge details. I used Interstate and they had the job well done. One more plus of this company: the customer service lady picking up the phone is friendly and efficient.

I highly recommend this company. We used them in June 2014 to replace the waterline from our house to the street. They were highly professional, responsive and did excellent work. They promised our lawn would look like it did before they did the work and it did. We got six estimates before picking Interstate. They were the 2nd lowest but promised more work then the lowest bid. So glad we chose them.
