The refuse to talk to me to discuss my issue unless I make a required appointment so they can charge me a diagnostic fee. I wanted to know what my options and don't need a diagnostic. Once I refused to make an appointment the receptionist says to me ""our schedule is very busy and we don't have time right now"". She said this right after trying to schedule an appointment, how convenient. Terrible service.

We have used this company exclusively for the almost 8 years we've owned our present house. We have had to wait a little while for maintenance type service but that was not a problem. This summer we put in for emergency service due to our water heater not heating water. My husband called and was told they only had one technician that could service a hydronic system and he was loaned to other companies and that we would receive call back for service. He was told the same after a second call for service. IT's September 29 THEY NEVER CALLED.

Last June the tenant in my Flagstaff rental house informed me that the water heater had stopped working and that there was a leak present. It was a Thursday and 3 plumbers told me that they probably couldn't get to it until the following week, not to mention, they refused to work with home warranty insurance. I was a little panicked thinking I should offer my tenant a hotel stay and I would have to pay for the repairs despite having paid for a home warranty policy that is supposed to cover this repair. Fortunately, the home warranty company heard my pleas and agreed to reimburse me for the repairs if they approved it after the fact rather than their normal course of action. Guardian angels connected me with Vanessa at Intermountain Plumbing & Mechanical who is so sharp and so kind. She arranged for a technician who was working in the area the next day to come by and assess the situation. By the description from my tenant, I was expecting to have to replace the water heater, so she checked to see if they would have the appropriate type of heater available just in case. Technician came by, assessed, went to get a couple of supply items and returned to repair the leak and get the heater working well the same afternoon!! The invoice, which I paid, was completely reasonable as well. Fast forward two months and home warranty company has not reimbursed me, hasn't even seen the invoice that I emailed to the representative that I had spoken with...turns out I was supposed to send it to their ""authorization"" department instead (but she didn't forward it to ANYONE). Home warranty now says they want me to show them proof of payment as well. I call Vanessa and she knows exactly who I am, brings up my file and sends me a copy of the ""Paid"" invoice as well as a copy of my payment method...within seconds after I hang up the phone...and she is one of the nicest and most professional people on the service force that I have dealt with in months. By the way...not renewing the home warranty company.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND INTERMOUNTAIN PLUMBING & MECHANICAL THOUGH!!

I asked through email and phone calls six times for an estimate to replace my HVAC system, but they would not respond to me. I have used them to check my systems in the past, but they still would not respond. Terrible service. What kind of a company just won't respond. If they didn't want the job, the professional thing would have been to respond with that.

Intermountain did several jobs for me during our renovation including moving a water heater, moving washer and dryer lines, pulling gas lines and plumbing for 2 bathrooms/ I found them great to work with. There staff were prompt, professional and fast. Pricing was very reasonable. I would strongly recommend this company if you want it done quickly and right.

If Demarcus from Intermountain shows up, cancel your service. He told me what the problem was(turns out he was completely wrong) and that he wouldn't be able to help me. I asked him how he came to that conclusion. He became frustrated and arrogant. Claiming that he has 8 years experience. If I had followed Demarcus's advice, I would have wasted time and spent thousands of dollars to not fix the problem. I had two landscapers working on my house rent a snake from Home Depot and they cleared the clog in 4 minutes. Clog was nowhere near where Demarcus 100% guaranteed the problem was.

We had been planning some plumbing work for awhile and had some major issues getting a company out to our house to actually do the work. We wanted to do 4 new toilets, replace a disposal and fix a leaking hose bib that was running our water bill out of control. After getting the run around from another local company for weeks, I was referred to Intermountian. Best thing that could of happened. They came out, looked at what we were requesting to have done, gave me an estimate the next day, scheduled the service and appt to do repairs and then showed up early to do the work. The two technicians completed the entire job in one day! We had a small problem with one thing and called the office, They came out the next day and fixed the issue, no questions asked. The quote I was given was exactly what i was charged for the work. None of the ""its gonna be more because of this"" stuff you always hear about. So very pleased with the work and the level of professionalism we received from Intermountian. Highly recommend calling them for any plumbing needs. Outstanding experience!!

Had an air conditioner installed last fall and it has been running great this summer. There was no charge for the estimate and they were able to install the AC while keeping the existing furnace. Before finding Intermountain I got a quote from Your Plumber who charged for the estimate and told me that the heater would need to be replaced; their estimate was double. Another review mentions a positive experience with Vanessa. We worked with her and she has been wonderful with us as well. If you need an AC, I can't imagine using anyone else.

We had a new air conditioning unit installed and replaced the old furnace. Our experience started with Dave coming out to give the estimate. Professional, knowledgeable and he took the time to answer all of our questions. Once we were on the schedule, we worked with Venessa who was amazing from start to the final inspection. Communication is always important and Vanessa was over the top.
