We focus on all aspects of plumbing repair and renovation. Our services cover water heaters, faucets, showers, toilets, concealed leaks, sewer clogs, visual inspections, leak detection, repipes, reroutes, gas repipes, and gas line repairs.

Our family has served the Coachella Valley, Hi-Desert, and Inland Empire for five generations. Our team includes skilled male and female plumbing technicians. Our mission is to assist our customers in every possible way.

My name is Jim, and I am committed to honesty and customer support. I learned everything about plumbing from my grandfather at the age of 16. I have passed this knowledge on to my daughter and son, just as their great-grandfather did for me. We ensure professionalism and courtesy in all our interactions with clients.

I want to clarify that we work with three home warranty companies and handle over 80 calls daily. We follow stringent guidelines and regulations dictated by their contracts on what actions we can take. Many negative reviews stem from warranty companies not covering certain issues, and we often become the scapegoat. I refuse to pay Yelp to showcase my good reviews, even though they contact me weekly. We have our own rating system through the warranty company, which is why we are preferred by them. If we were as poor as these reviews suggest, we wouldn’t have these warranty contracts. I appreciate your attention.

Gary from Inter City Plumbing just left my house after installing a garbage disposal. He was right on time, well mannered, knowledgeable , very neat and got the job done in about 30 minutes. I would definitely use Intercity plumbing again. In this day and age of ""zero"" service, it's nice knowing there is a company that does their job right.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR OR YOU WILL BE SORRY. My experience was terrible, first appointment they falsely claimed two repairs needed modifications that were not necessary to my plumbing including stating one was in violation of a city code (checked with city who indicated no modification was needed) for which they wanted to repair for several hundred dollars and was fixed for $35.00 and on another repair they falsely claim a shower fixture modification was needed which was false and repaired by another plumber (with a new valve mixer) that required no modification as Intercity claimed was needed They also failed to show up for an appointment TWICE WITHOUT EVEN THE COURTESY OF CALLING TO ADVISE AND RESCHEDULE AFTER OUR WAITING FOR 8 HOURS FOR THE APPOINTMENT. This company simply does not care about the customer, good service and performing reliable, honest plumbing services. They apparently get so many service calls from several Home warranty companies they simply do not care to perform honest service and keep appointments. If there was a negative rating available they would receive a minus(- 5).

Service visit from February 24, 2017 - We had a wonderful experience with Intercity Plumbing. They came to do a recheck for another plumbing company, Gennaro's Plumbing, and they demonstrated superior customer service and expertise at the time of the recheck. We had a problem with the faucet in one of our showers, we couldn't control the water temperature. Lance Fisher was our technician and my wife was really pleased with his work. He verified our concern and actually opened up the faucet to actually diagnose the problem. He found a part defective and had a replacement in his truck. He installed the part and verified its operation. Once done he had my wife check to make sure she was satisfied with the repair. What more could we ask for. I didn't read their other review but to us, Lance and Intercity deserve a five star.

They contract with American Home Shield, a warranty company. I called AHS who emailed me Inter City Plumbing confirmation. I called because my hot water heater is old, rusty, and electrically shorting out. I spoke with Michelle (a sassy bitch with attitude) who scheduled a tech 5 days out!
This company takes on jobs though they are ""swamped"" per Michelle, the schedular.
STAY AWAY and use Alvarez Plumbing that came out the same day and obtained authority from AHS to replace it. Amen.

This company was referred through our home owner's insurance co. They changed out a non-working tub faucet. Easy job and it works fine now, but they did not attempt to match the other faucet. So now, one is chrome and the other is clear acrylic and both have cold faucet markers. My husband called to let them know the mis-matched faucets were unacceptable and the company told him that was too bad, just flat refused to remedy our complaint. They have already been paid by us and will be paid by the insurance company, so I guess they don't care. The insurance company will be hearing our complaint as well! There are plenty of plumbing competition here in the valley, so you'd be wise to search for a different company that has some pride in their finished product.

Horrible horrible... that's what I have to say about there no service.. they set an appointment 4 days out from when my problem started.. the last minute they call and say the tech won't be coming due to emergency.. well is there only 1 tech that works there.. I have poop and paper on my front lawn... shitty service or should I say, the lack of service is shitty... then the girl that called to cancel the appointment was very rude and wasn't concerned with our needs...

Do not use this company for anything, American Home Shield uses them, 14 days without hot water and overcharged me by at least $100.
They are the worst in the desert. Dishonest and they lie on the phone.

Terrible company! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO not let you home warranty company refer them. They were to fix a gas leak and said they completed the job. I called back later and left a message that the gas smell was back and they do not return the call.

Whatever you do, DON'T CALL InterCity Plumbing. I was referred to them from my home warranty company and the woman who answered the phone and does the scheduling REFUSED to schedule an appointment for me. When I asked ""Desiree"" who answered the phone, how far out they were scheduling for, all she said was that she has 100 people to call ahead of me and she can't tell me how long it will take to get an appointment. Really? I was then told she would call me at the end of the day today, or tomorrow once they got through the other 100 phone calls to schedule.

I then waited until the end of the day, and called back. I was told by her they were done making appointments for the day and there were no more appointments left to be scheduled. I explained that I had to have an idea of when they would be coming, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, and she said she couldn't give me that information. Then I asked to speak to a manager, and was told there was no one for me to speak to. I asked to speak to the owner and she said I couldn't do that. I mentioned I might not be available IF they called on Friday to schedule an appointment and she said, she'd have someone call on Monday then. So, that would be FOUR days after I called them to get an appointment on the calendar. As of now, I have no appointment, received NO CALL from them, and feel very uncomfortable having an unprofessional service like this come into my home. If a SERVICE company can't be nice to their clients and at least let them know an ESTIMATE of when their calendar will open for appointments, then how can they be called a SERVICE company? If you can, call someone else who cares about the customers. That's what customer service is about. Believe the other 1 Star reviews.

Rude office staff. Took 2 days to speak to anyone and I had to call them! I hope the service call goes better than my first impression of the company!
