I ran out of oil yesterday (my fault not on auto-refill). I called after hours yesterday and again first thing this morning. They assured me that they would deliver today. At 4:30 I got nervous and called. Assured that they were coming. At 5:47 checked again. Everything still good. At 7:11 pm received word that I'm the next stop. They're here now. It will be warm tonight. Thank you Intercounty for wonderful service.

My family has used Inter-County oil for several years for oil delivery. On Saturday, 02/29/2020, the driver was filling the tank and so much pressure built up in the tank it blew a hole in the side Of the tank spilling heating oil all over my basement. As the oil is filled into the tank, the air inside the tank is supposed to vent out making a whistling sound to let the driver know all is well. This obviously didn't happen but the driver kept pumping anyway. When the issue was reported to the business and the emergency tech called about the issue he told me it was my problem and to clean it up with kitty litter!!! This company has no concern for their customer's health or property. The house still smells of oil (which is very toxic) and I'm stuck paying for clean up and repairs. No one from this company will even talk to me after several phone calls to them. BEWARE!!!!

My oil tank was at half so I figured I'd get it topped off before the winter season kicks off. I called on a Friday night and the woman on the phone said probably Monday for a delivery. I told her no big deal whenever they get a chance. I'm lying in bed watching TV and I hear a truck coming up the street, and its my oil delivery at 10:30 pm. Even though some may see this as not a big deal I see it as a huge deal as they deal with their customers and deliver when they say they will. Great job guys! Great service!!

I am sad to report that after 3 years of pretty good reliability of deliveries, they missed the ball x2 this week. I call on 12/26/17, when my tank was 1/4 full, to place my order. I was told it would be out by the end of the week. When I got home Monday night, New Years Day, I was out of oil and I called the on-call service. I told them I had 3 young kids and a tenant and it was 8 degrees outside. I requested a call back was told I would receive a callback. I never did. I had to move my three young kids to a relative's house for the night. I called the following morning and was told I was the first delivery of the day.
It took all day for my house to get back up to a livable temperature as it was at 46 degrees when I got home in the morning.
I called and asked for something (perhaps a discounted service call or small credit) for my inconvenience. I was told that all they could offer was an apology. No explanation for why my order wasn't delivered by Friday as promised. Only that they were busy. Why didn't they call me to tell me that they weren't going to bring my oil as promised?
Unacceptable to not deliver, not call back, and then not offer anything to remedy the situation.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Inter-County came to our rescue when our usual oil company never delivered our oil the week before blizzard 2016. We were almost empty and the response of our usual oil company was ""we have to take care of our full service customers first"". They made no effort to rectify their mistake. In came Inter-County. We were a brand new customer and even with tough roads to navigate they came and delivered oil today!!

I am not working with this company again.

They are incompetent at scheduling. Nobody seems to talk to eachother.

My furnace has been gushing water for a week. So I take half a day off from work (twice for the same problem) for the repair then they don't show up or come to make an estimate when they promised to show up to fix the problem.

Oil deliveries are ok. We have used them for about 5 years. They are however really agressive at following up on their oil fuel bills. Two calls in two days after delivery two weeks earlier

In these financially tough times, Inter County Fuel allows us to order 100 gallons of oil at a time for a very reasonable price considering the amount we purchase. They are always prompt with delivery and today when we called and said we were afraid that we might be running out of oil they delivered our oil the same day we called. We have been getting oil from them for over a year and delivery has been great but today they fit us in to make sure we had oil. We are not under contract with them but they still made accommodations on very short notice during a heavy snow storm.
